   Amazing food. Truffle pizza was the best pizza I have had. Scallops and cioppino were beyond delicious. Hats off to the chef and service oriented staff. Oh, and the gelato was the perfect finish to our evening.

   the flatbreads are terrific. our server was attentive and pleasant. the patio seating was comfortable and refreshing. Nella is definitely on our list of places to return to when stopping in Los Olivos.

   Our experience started off great and ended well, we are a gay couple and we did have an older women comment about not sitting next to us because she noticed we were gay. She stared at us as she said she didn’t want to be seated near us. We are used to those comments and homophobic people don’t surprise us but we did appreciate how caring, funny, and kind the staff were. The staff made us feel incredibly comfortable even with all the stares from the guest in the building. We just wanted to say we appreciate the hospitality of all the staff, our server was AMAZING our food was absolutely delicious, and we will back soon!

   We sat at the bar and were thoroughly charmed by our bartender! He made excellent drink and food suggestions… the carciofi pizza was divine! Highly recommend this eatery!

    The atmosphere and the service were excellent, but my husband and I aren't beef eaters, so the food was ho-hum. He had a spinach pasta with pesto sauce and I had cioppino. Both were fine, but we have had better. We shared profiteroles for desert and they were excellent. The steaks they were cooking smelled great, so maybe diners who eat mammals will like it better.

    Very good service- not stuffy - interesting menu - pizza exceptional not like the normal doughy pizza. Pasta very good and I think made there. Good wine list.

    Hardly any gluten free options. Wine prices by the glass were ridiculous. Small portions; halibut and lamb chops were good however would have been much Better with more sauce. Potatoes needed seasoning also. A bit bland.

    There was a great ambiance here. Energetic in the bar and a little more intimate in restaurant. Victorias macaroon was better than any bakery. Delicious. A+

    Valentine’s Day and Birthday dinner for my wife. We ordered pasta with bolognese sauce and a Caesar salad, along with red wine. It was a delicious meal with excellent service. Due to the Valentine’s Day celebration, the restaurant had a full house and energetic noise level. But we enjoyed our evening. Parking was full on the street, so we used the hotel/restaurant parking in the rear.

    Showed up an hour early because our winery was closed. Even though it was Valentines Day we were seated right away in their cool Lounge area. We had the couch and fireplace all to ourselves. Had drinks, appetizer, salad, pinsa and dessert - everything was incredible! The tuna tartare and roquette fuel drinks ... amazing! Can't wait to go back!

    Our salads were great. Our entrées (salmon and lamb chops) were very good, but not remarkable. The pineapple dessert was fabulous. All in all very good, but we felt that the cost was somewhat high for our lunch.

    The appetizers were good but the entrees were just okay. And sorry, but who charges $9 for bread for the table ? And then we asked for more butter and we got charged for that. WTF!!! I will not be returning

    I'm a local regular and took some friends for their first time. Salads were great, pasta was great, fish was great, but my filet was not up to par. I ordered it medium rare, but it was very hard to cut through and chew due to lots of internal silver skin. It just wasn't pre-inspected before it was cooked and just wasn't a prime filet cut. I would have sent it back, but I didn't want to ruin my friends first visit. On a scale of 1-10, the filet was about a 3.

    We met family from San Diego here before wine tasting. Food was delicious but lunch options seemed limited. Outside table was lovely however no umbrella so glare off while linens was tough on the eyes. Service was super friendly. Overall, we’d book reservations again.

    Food was fine but a bit overpriced and the pizzas weren't extraordinary or unusual. It's "safe" if not a little stuffy for older folks, but lacking any adventure for younger foodies. I like SY Kitchen more than this side adventure.

    January at night 40 degrees who wants to sit outdoors? Snippy hostess sees no reason for this opinion. After having to guarantee our table by credit card which would be charged for a cancellation less than 48 hours to the tune of $25 per person (6 diners in our party) I expected a much more refined experience as they clearly feel highlyabout themselves

    Long time before the waiter came short measure of wine for $20,00….lots of brown on the spine of the lettuce…..flat bread came before the salad and bread but they made a new one ….bus girl really good Will go again as we are local hopefully better service

    When I booked the reservation I called to make sure we sat inside since I usually get cold. When we got there for the reservation, we were told that there was no inside seating…bummer…our son in law was annoyed since he thought we would be inside and didn’t dress for outside dining. They did bring us an extra heater per our request not the hostess’s idea. Service was slow and my special was SO huge! I could have shared it! The sausage and potato pinsas was delicious! Definitely need to order.

    Excellent in every aspect! Amazing food and ambiance! Only negative was it was hard to hear my partner in our conversation. Just a little loud due to the fact it was at capacity. Good thing for Nella’s though!

    Always a very good food experience. Enjoy the constant tweaks to the menu. Think the wine by the glass selection should be expanded: no sav blanc or rose last night. Overall, remains are go to local restaurant

    Excellent food and great cocktails. Helpful and friendly service. Nice variety of items on the menu. Drawback: really noisy; impossible to have a conversation in the restaurant. Maybe better on the patio, but I haven't tried it.
