Nektar is a wine, beer, and whiskey bar located in the heart of New Hope Pennsylvania. This intimate bar across from the Bucks County Playhouse provides a great place to enjoy a bite to eat before or after the show. In the winter, you’ll find Nektar to be a warm place to settle in with a whiskey to warm your insides, or a glass of wine to appreciate with selections from our charcuterie. Ask one of our servers to help you select the perfect wine, beer or whiskey to accompany any of the delicious items on our food menu.

Meant for sharing, our chef creates wonderful small plates from products sourced from local farms and suppliers. Small plates, sandwiches, salads, charcuterie meats, artisanal cheeses and desserts provide something for just about any time of day.

Beautiful spot. Welcoming, friendly staff. Menu provides so many choices. Love the lobster BLT sliders and the short rib Mac and cheese. The charcuterie boards are to die for. Delicious selection of wines and a knowledgeable staff to assist in selecting just what you are looking for. Delicious, can't wait to go back.

Beautiful restaurant with a great view. Has mostly small plates that are very yummy. I suggest ordering a few different plates. Service was very good.

The food was mediocre at best, some of which was clearly fresh frozen. Would come here for drinks and ambience only.

Nektar is a great restaurant. Small plates balance nicely with wine or whiskey flights or just a drink. We sat outside and it was a beautiful evening! The wait staff was attentive, but not too attentive so we never felt rushed. He really knew the drinks menu, too. The food was delivered promptly and dishes were cleared away promptly.

What a wonderful lunch we had on Fathers Day. Food, Drinks and Service was top notch. We even stop for a drink at the bar after our dinner. Shane the bartender was knowledgeable and pleasant to have a conversation with. We shall return. Thank you for making our visit special.

Love this style of dining, small plates to share. We had a good variety, with four of us dining together. Still thinking about the beet salad and the octopus!

Nektar is always a delightful beverage and dining experience. The Korean Wings and Truffle Fries are a must-have every time we go there!

Incredibly nice staff from the hostess, waitresses, and manager who was bartending. It was busy for the amount of people they had working, but we understood and didn’t complain. Yet they still gave us our last round for free due to it taking so long. The food was really good but it is tapas style so you can spend a good bit to get full. Flights and drinks were amazing. Can’t wait to go back!
