Neighborhood Services - Omni Louisville
Great food and service would definitely recommend. We have eaten here several times and it has always been consistently good
My date and I decided to grab an early dinner before a show downtown. We had meatballs with voodoo sauce as an appetizer. They were absolutely delicious. If they were just a tad hotter, they would have been perfect. I had steak frites for dinner. They were extremely tasty, however, they lacked the proper seasoning. My date had the Reuben sandwich. It looked awesome. She said it was delicious. I had an Old Fashioned to drink and it was sublime. Not too sweet, not too boozy. My date had an equally delicious margarita. Restaurant is njcely decorated. It was 545 pm when we sat down, so there weren’t too many guests there. I would recommend Neighborhood Services to anyone in the downtown area.
Dinner was much better than our breakfast experience. Service staff seemed to be new and in training mode for breakfast and dinner. Good at dinner was nicely presented, tasty, and reasonably priced for a hotel restaurant. I would recommend for dinner but not for breakfast.
My family and I really enjoyed the appetizers: Hot Brown Tots & sticky wings.
The entrees were plentiful & tasted great. My only complaint is that when the plates (party of 5) were to the table, the russet frites (fries) weren't hot. I would've requested a fresh order but my guests & had didn't have the time to wait. There was also a party of 21 that came in after us, princely why our food wasn't hot. Overall the food was delicious, flavorful, with the money. I'd definitely return and recommend.
It was an ok experience..no problems experienced but not overwhelmed bye the food or service either..
Super busy and wait staff was not very attentive. Also never got the steak for my salad.
Good food, cocktails, atmosphere and service. I have been here a few times each time had an excellent meal, this time the special catch of the day, halibut, was just ok.
Friends’ meals were very good.
So the food was really amazing, I was impressed. Drinks and cocktails were great for the price as well. I had a problem with the service, especially when you are paying so much, you expect great service. The server was not very attentive, although she was very friendly. She took my fork when I was in the bathroom and my friends told her I wasnt done......Over half of my steak was still on my plate. So that was really inappropriate to me, for her to touch my plate at all when I wasnt there. Other than that, the main issue was that it took forever to get our order in because she wasnt at the table hardly at all. It was a Saturday night however, the restaurant wasnt full so there was no excuse for this.
Same great food & service we experience when we dine out at Neighborhood Services in Dallas!
We are NS fans !
Delicious cocktails! Service was outstanding!
Food and drinks were good. One of the best old fashions, not too sweet.
Food was not the best. My pasta was gummy. I was hungry so I ate it but wasn’t pleasant.
We had a great experience! Robert was our server and he was wonderful! He was very kind, engaging, and remembered our names, anniversary and our hometown throughout the dining experience. Also brought us champagne and strawberries for our anniversary.
I had the bbq shrimp and grits and banana pudding. Both were delicious. Our service was great, prompt and professional.
Wonderful dining experience!
We were treated like the only diners there. The service was top rate and the food divine. Can hardly wait to go back & try the lunch & dinner menus. Highly recommend it.
We love this place!!! The staff is amazing. We got engaged here on Valentine’s Day 2019.
We were sat promptly and then nothing. No drinks, the table behind us had been waiting for our server. He was so far in the weeds and no one else was helping him. The hostess just said ‘have a good night!’ like we had been there all night. Horrible service.
My husband and I had Sunday brunch here while in Louisville for the weekend. We initially chose Neighborhood Services because of proximity to our hotel and the online menu. It can be tricky for us because we tend to want food from very different ends of the spectrum. We easily had a variety of things to choose from. We were promptly greeted by our server who gave us excellent service throughout our time there. Our food was really delicious! We were lamenting the fact that we would not be able to come back for dinner (only becauae they would be closed). I would highly recommend Neighborhood Services! Great service, great atmosphere and GREAT FOOD!
Great dining and great atmosphere. Good to enjoy others company
Great downtown spot - easy to walk in off the street. Fun menu with lots of wonderful options both local and national favorites. Staff is always friendly and helpful.
Great fresh menu. Fast and friendly service.
the only problem was the chairs are very hard for setting as long as we sat.
The food was excellent however our waitress would disappear for quite some time and I think we were the only table she had. We had to ask for her a couple of times. One to take our order and the other to bring our check. Also our drinks sat on the bar a good 10 minutes before she brought them to us...
Service was great, atmosphere was fun, food was delicious!
For the most part the food was delicious; however, the service started off horrible and was hit or miss throughout! We visited on A Saturday around 12:20 before attending a show at the Kentucky Center. The place was not busy. When we set down our waitress came to our table very flustered. She asked if we would like water, and we answered yes. Time passes and she doesn’t come back. We then stopped another waitress who was setting tables to ask if she could get our waitress. It took 5 plus minutes for her to come back and again she was very flustered. Finally we told her we had to be done before 1:30. She said she would need to take our orders right then which was fine (we had plenty of time to decide). We ordered 2 appetizers, the avocado hummus (delicious) and the hot brown tots (very good). Then we each ordered our meal. At the end of the food order 2 in our party asked for beers. She took the order and was gone. Forever goes by and our waitress is no where to be found. We finally flag the manager. We tell him we ordered beers and our worried something happen to our waitress. He quickly goes and gets the beers and tells us their on him (he did NOT take them off the bill). He also says he will check on our appetizers. They shortly arrive. Our waitress returns like a new person and we shortly get our food. We ask for another beer and she brings it right back. Later we ask for another and it takes forever. Overall, the food was good but the service lacks and who wants to pay that price for bad service. Food Review: Steak Frites : very good with sauce on side. Rueben: very good. CauliflowerBurger: ok, not great, maybe should have been cooked longer.
We enjoyed 2 wonderful meals
Here during our stay ! The food
Delicious , we loved the Hot Brown Tots , and the chicken sandwich! Our server both evenings was Lydia , she was the sweetest person , delightful, knowledgeable about the food and area , and helped to
Make our experience full
Of warmth and fun !
This is a Great 👍 Place! Yes In a hotel, but I am a local and I enjoy coming here for Breakfast, Brunch, and Lunch either for laid-back chic ambience and the wonderful food faire or just to get away from the hustle bustle. Great Window tables & booths, large space, great place for Everyday Dining, Social meetup or Business meetings!
Barbie is so far my favorite Server 💃👏🌺!
A great place to go for Sunday brunch. Delicious selection and large portions for a good price. Note, they do not serve the brunch past 11 on Saturdays.
The restaurant had a modern, industrial decor. The service was very friendly and prompt. We LOVED the wings appetizer. We also ordered a ruben sandwich which could be improved on. The prices were reasonable for a hotel establishment. We would definitely return.
Fabulous restaurant, quality of food and service impeccable. Phyllis and Barbara made our experience perfect. They accommodated us moving tables out of the sun, even putting a pitcher of ice tea on table by us out of the sun so we could access easily. They were also both fun and engaging. Will be back!
Breakfast was very good. My wife's pancakes were tasty and the pecan flavored syrup was interesting. The corned beef hash was unique. Unlike most hash that is served browned and crispy, this hash was served "wet" tossed lightly in a flavorful, savory glaze. The corned beef chunks were a little toothsome, but overall a very good dish. I would definitely order it again
Great atmosphere but overall a disappointment. They must have been short staffed the night we went bc the service was pretty bad. It took a really long time for waitress to take our order although the restaurant wasn’t very crowded and she never checked on us except to bring the check. We ordered brussel sprouts to eat as an appetizer and they were just okay - not bad but not much flavor as most restaurants. Caesar salad with steak was fair (steak good but salad was not) and we also ordered the pork chop with mashed potatoes and succotash. The serving of mashed potatoes took up half the plate and was kinda gross bc it was so large. And the succotash was poured on top on potatoes. Not a good presentation and taste was just okay. Maybe other food items would be better but our choices weren’t good.
The food was delicious!!! Everyone in our party of 4 loved their entree and the Hot Brown Tater tots were scrumptious! The service was excellent. The noise level I would not call energetic, it was too loud to carry on a conversation at times. Felt like a sports bar, it was so loud. Otherwise, we enjoyed our visit very much.
food was good. service is not so great. our server got our order and disappeared until food came out. after food came out, she disappeared until time for us to pay. w
While staying at the Omni over Memorial Day weekend, my friends and I had dinner here. Unfortunately, the restaurant was understaffed the entire weekend. We ended up having appetizers and drinks here Sat night, and went somewhere else for dinner. The food was good and our server was clearly doing her best. With adequate staffing, I expect this would have been a great experience.
Ordered BBQ shrimp grits- was not that great. Service was good. Husband orders fried chicken sandwich - he enjoyed it as a salad. The sandwich was hugh. Overall good time
Awesome friendly service. Very relaxed environment
Food, environment and waitress were fantastic. Highly recommend for business or pleasure. Easy $5 valet parking when dining at the restaurant.
Went for mother's day brunch. No kids menu available..don't most people take their kids with them on mother's day? I'm not sure who would pay $45 for their child to take 5 bites. I shared with my son, so not a big deal. The brunch was supposed to be 3 courses-fruit/pastries, brunch item and then dessert. When it was time for dessert, the waitress acted like we were crazy for all wanting the dessert, even though it came with our meal. We ordered 3..she brought 1. A few minutes later we received the second. Never received the third. Overall the atmosphere was very nice, however the food was not worth the $180 price tag for 3 adults.
