Great food. Great music. Great crowd. Great setting!
I enjoy the food and the atmosphere; however we were told our table would be ready several times and must have waited 40 minutes after the host stated our table was soon available.
This restaurant is amazinggggggg . From the time we came in and sat down. The waiter was so welcoming and good energy. I forgot his name but I had gave him a big tip. The food was absolutely amazing. I would recommend 20 stars lol
Came here for a business dinner, was great.
I am in awe of the transformation and menu. Really amazing. I was happy about all the tastes. All the options and my guests who were all purposely Caribbean cookers were pleased and critiqued highly.
Greg as the executive Chef is mastery can't wait to he puts his left foot in the menu for the lounge too.
Get some more motivated waitstaff. they are a bit slow and not as vibrant as they need to be. It should be hospitality at it's finest to match everything else.
Always enjoy the food and atmosphere here. Will be a returning customer for life.
Hopefully they will start accepting AMEX again.
Usually the oxtail is good but it was horrible ! I was disappointed in how it tasted.
Great place, good food, a tad bit expensive but the ambience makes up for the price. Try and get Gabriel to serve you, great guy, explains things in detail and stops by for a chat, ran behind us to tell us that the service Charge was already included, we didn’t check the bill and had added our tips! I would go again!
Not the best service; waiter entered wrong order and never checked on our food.
The food is very good but not hot. The portion sizes are very small for the chef tasting plate considering the $35 price tag. The drinks are excellent.
Food was amazing, traditional and good.
Best Caribbean restaurant ever, will come back again
Love the food, Best food in town, Highly recommended. My wife and I have always enjoyed the delicious food Negril serves, Since 2003 when we moved down to Miami, Florida. We had the opportunity to go up to NYC on our 28th wedding anniversary from Miami, Florida, and spend the evening dinning at Negril and enjoying their delicious food again. Thank you so much Marva and Carlton,
Negril was an amazing experience! Good Caribbean Home Cooking! Drinks were great not watered down, trendy decor, beautiful ambiance -Returning customer guaranteed
This is my second time at Negril Village, and I love this place! The food is amazing, however the waiter who served us did not provide us the best service.
Came here with my Gf for her Bday. Made a reservation, seating time was immediate, space is small but your not on top people. The food was delicious! Just the right amount and the overall ambiance was great. I'm definitely adding Negril Village into my restaurant rotation.
Very dissatisfied with the service. Everything took too long to come out. Orders were wrong and it just wasn’t their best effort.
We somewhat enjoyed the experience however was earnestly disappointed when my entree was presented over cooked and cold. After speaking with management at length, the best they would do was compensate me with a chicken roti (which was good but cost considerably less than the coconut salmon entree which I returned immediately & virtually intact). I guess I would have expected the restaurateurs to have been more considerate and accountable to new and potential recurring patrons. It is improbable that I/we will return.
It Was A Awesome Experience . MayBe The Best Restaurant In New York . Great Staff !
The cheese cake was utterly sweet and for someone who is diabetic is terribly dangerous.
great place to eat, great for all occasions this is my boyfriend favorite spot fpr the last 10 years
Food and service were great. Prices were too high though
The food and drinks were delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes
Had a craving for jerk chicken and the island sides - rice and peas, calalou, etc. Negril Village jumped out at me and had good reviews.
I was really disappointed in the food. The jerk chicken did not taste like jerk chicken - no spicy, herby coating, not crisp skin, dry rice and peas. Really not satisfying.
I don’t recommend.
Great ambiance! Friendly staff, and amazing food! Kids and I loved everything!
Dope spot. Food is very tasty. Drinks are on point...try the coconut rum punch and henny punch omg yummy. Mac n cheese omg yummy, oxtails, curry goat rice n peas yummy. Good music and nice crowd. Nice service too. Enjoyed my birthday here. Def coming back here. I went with a friend and he loved the place n wanted to order the whole menu lol
Great Place, Great Food in the Heart of the Village. Perfect place for a date or just to grab a bite with your friends.
Great service and food.
It was awesome! Service was great, food excellent!
Negril Village was a very nice setting for my husbands birthday dinner. It can be intimate but you can also go there with friends and enjoy. The food was way better then i expected, and the service was wonderful. The waiter I had was very kind and cared a lot about how everything taste, he made sure we did not have to call upon him. Kudos to Negril definitely will be visiting again.
the server bought our appetizer and main course to us before we even had water or our drinks.. Then at the end , I asked for menu so I could order food to go and he never bought the menu. Also, he never came by to ask how we were doing, how was the food.
Made a 1:00 PM reservation for my birthday to have brunch. Arrived at 12:50 and was seated by 12:55. Ordered a carafe of the guava bellini and decided to skip the app and order the main course for which the order was submitted at 1:05.
After 30 minutes I checked with our waiter on the ETA as my wife and I had run out of conversation and were surprised that the food had not arrived to our table.
I asked to speak with the manager on duty and when she came and I explained my concern that my wife and I had been waiting 50 minutes now for our order and inquired if there was an issue in the kitchen.
She immediately became defensive and said “I can get you your food now but I can’t do that if I’m here talking to you”, I looked around the lower level where larger parties that had arrived 20-30 minutes after I had places my order had received their food and were eating. I pointed this out to the manager to which her response was “ you are on a 1 hour bill” I told her to come with me as there were two other tables seated in close proximity to us who also has been waiting for 30-40 mins and had not received their meals either.
She responded by asking me if I wanted to cancel my order or let her go back to the kitchen and get my order. I asked her why it had taken so long for her to recognize and address the issue, again her response was do I want to cancel my order.
I told the manager that her response was inappropriate and quite possibly the worst response from any manager I have heard.
I went to settle my bill at the bar but was told that I didn’t owe anything. After this nightmare event we went to Del Frisco’s Grille and had a wonderful meal.
I have dined at Negril Village over the past 15 years and have never had such a horrible experience or encountered a manager who was so incompetent and unprofessional. Needless to say that I will not return to this establishment.
I've been here 30 times and same thing every time. Amazing food and service!!! Absolutely love it here.
I made a 5pm reservation got there on time, but was told I had to wait for shift change to be seated. My appetizer were served cold, and the food was delayed.
Good food; service was awesome and attentive. Glad we went here for my mom’s birthday
It was my first time back in years, and my dates first time. The dinner was great, after we finished up we went downstairs and enjoyed some great music.
Some reason i got so sick from eating the ackee and saltfish entree.
We came to celebrate a friends 40th and had a great time. The hottest, Stephanie was awesome.
