First time at this establishment.; definitely will not make it my last. Enjoyed everything!
This has become one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. From the time I enter until the time I leave, black excellence all the way!
Everything was spot on from the fritters to the shrimp and grits & Chicken and waffles. The most amazing part was the drinks prepared by the best bartender EVER mr. Matt “Ralph” Riggs. I highly recommend Negril Village and I will always sit at the bar to see what Matt is whipping up.
Great food, great ambiance, the service was impeccable. My only complaint is that parking was $20 per car; my party was in three separate vehicles. I suggest arriving early enough to find alternative parking.
Negril Village is consistent. The food is always good. The waiters are helpful. We always enjoy ourselves. This is the "go to" restaurant for casual celebrations.
It was our first time there and the night that my group and I had our junior prom. Food was fantastic, our waiter was amazing, and the restaurant was just beautiful. We’ll have to come back again
A group of us went to Negril on Saturday around 10am for breakfast/brunch. We ordered the the chicken and waffles (slightly spicy but great taste), the Jamaican breakfast (great taste), the shrimp and grits (great flavor and taste), the oxtail empanadas (amazing), and the rum punch (definitely has a punch to it.
Our service was great, they played caribbean music, at that early it was not packed so the noise level was just fine.
Parking: The lot just next door was about $20, however I recommend street parking which was $4 for 2 hours. There's also a marta station just next door.
Restaurant never disappoints. Every visit to Atlanta I make it my business to make this my first stop! I love the brunch and mimosas!
Loved it will be back. Food came out fast and was delicious
Negril was great from beginning to end. The ambiance and atmosphere was great! I wish our server would have been a little more attentive but overall it was amazing and wold definitely come back.
The service was very slow. They brought the wrong entrees to two people at our table and we had to wait for the correct orders.
We were very rushed to eat before our show at the Fox.
The restaurant charges $20 to park in the lot that THEY own. Essentially, you have to pay to eat at the restaurant; if you’re not using a ride service. Even though the restaurant was quite empty, they would not allow 3 people of a party of 4 until the 4th person arrived. Still not sure why as the hostess pointed to their sign that said full parties must be available for seating.
Service was good, but it took a little long!! Food was excellent and bartender/waitress was awesome!! Parking was horrible but overall I enjoyed myself!!! Love the experience and definitely will be back!!!!
We waited over an hour because our waiter lost our order and the music was so loud that one has to talk loud to each other
THE MOST Amazing jerk chicken and waffles! Mimosas were great as well! We will absolutely be back!
Great food and great service. Wait staff was very quick with entrees being brought at superfast speeds while table clearing in between courses was also lightening fast. This is truly authentic Caribbean food and worth the trip to midtown. Parking was awkward and we had to pay $20 to use the public lot next door to the restaurant. The restaurant should provide discounted or validated parking. Despite great food and service, the restaurant was very loud, so it is not very intimate and not a good dating spot. I am definitely going back many times because its worth it.
We had a early dinner on the patio. I believe our server was a gal name Tyler who was really sweet and recommended some great options. We will be back!
National Siblings Day
Very limited choices and their rules are horrible. You can’t split checks, and if you have 4 or more people, 20% is added no matter how bad the service. I was greatly disappointed!
Ambiance was nice. Waitress didn’t attend the table as she should’ve.
By far the BEST brunch spot in the A! The Jerk Chicken & Waffles, Breakfast Potatoes, & Cornbread were all AMAZING! Drive slow with the Mimosas though! They'll sneak up on you! 😂😂😂....I'll definitely be back!
Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Negril Village. The food was very good and the mimosas were bomb!!! I would recommend to anyone looking for a fine Jamaican dining experience and you are in downtown Atlanta, to go to Negril Village. Parking however, is not the best. I had to pay $20 for the lot right beside the building. So take a lyft or uber or try to locate a nearby parking lot that is less expensive before you get there.
Pleasantly surprised with the amount of oxtails that were served with my entre. The rim punch was good...overall we enjoyed ourselves.
E was an awesome server. The food was delicious and the atmosphere amazing. Beautiful place!
The food is ABSOLUTELY amazing. I took my nonprofit here prior to a show at the Fox. I didn't like that the full party had to be there to be sat. That is an OUTDATED practice. The hostess was not friendly. I had to explain that all though all girls weren't there, I did have their orders ready to go. The waiter made me feel better. He had a great smile and great service. Sometimes just smiling makes the best customer service. The hostesses are the first people you meet when you walk in the restaurant. This is not a CLUB. We have a reservation. I can take my money somewhere else.
A fantastic restaurant in the Atlanta area, with a friendly and attentive staff, high-quality food, and an enjoyable atmosphere. Negril Village is easily one of the must-try eateries in Atlanta.
I expected to hear some reggae music to match the name and theme of the restaurant.
Love this restaurant! First time here, but I’ll definitely be back. It happened to be Rum Punch Friday, which meant the pitchers were half off! You have to check out the bar upstairs as well. They had live music and the bartender kept our drinks full!
Reservation at 10 am and doors were not opened until nearly 10:30. No sense of urgency after we called the restaurant and inform them we all was standing outside waiting.
I had a wonderful experience everything was excellent.
The ambiance was great as always very good setting. The music was loud and at times it seemed as if I had to shout across the table for the person I was with to hear me. The waiter for me needed to refer to the meals in Jamaican terminology he referred to the soup of the day as red bean soup instead of the Jamaican way which is red peas soup. It was also very over priced food plus having to pay for parking on top of that.
Loved the atmosphere music food and drinks. I loved it so much that I plan to go next week for Sunday brunch to hear the live Jazz. Will tell my friends.
Parking was expensive and was a litte loud inside wasn’t very intimate
Food was good and reasonable on price
Simply TOO LOUD
Food was good but the music was too loud could have a conservation without shouting the person at my table.
Service was polite and friendly. The food was excellent
With a reservation, the wait was still long. My reservation was at 2:00 pm but was not seated until 2:50 pm. We brought our own cupcakes in and was never told we would be charged a $25.00 CAKE FEE until we got our bill. For as long as we waited I had plenty of time to walk those cupcakes back to the car. I would have never agreed to pay that amount. Those cupcakes were not that serious. In the future, they should be upfront with quest about the Cake Fee.
Our Bookclub chose Negril Village to discuss our current selection. We had an excellent time. We had reservations, but were running a little late, and wa still seated immediately. I ordered the jerk chicken and it was perfectly seasoned. The corn bread with agave spread was delicious. Ginger beer was on point and I had to get some extra Mac and cheese to take home. We will definitely return.
Waiter rushed us out as they overbooked for the day.
