Excellent fresh local food. Prompt and cheerful service. Outstanding!!
Great food selection for food to table.
Good sized portions with leftover to take home.
Very fresh seafood. Supper collard greens, a Southern classic!
Try the Chicken and Waffle, great dish anytime of day!
Add shrimp to the Pasta Primavera for a tasty feast!
Can't comment on dessert, too full.
Service was attentive and efficient.
All in alll a very pleasing evening
Very good food and service - highly recommend! Thank
Everything was delicious a must is the biscuit bowl with butter jam and Honeywell shares a salad three entrees peach bq ribs delicious don’t be afraid to ask for a substitution shrimp and grits were right on and the duck sausage bowl?was huge finished for breakfast a day later our server Liz was great and took care of all our needs the only distraction was the speaker announcing next doors togos highly recommend not just a breakfast lunch restaurant we will be back
This was our first time at Nectar. The food was excellent and the service wonderful. Our very enthusiatic server, Perry (?) made it a lovely afternoon. We're local, so looking forward to the new Nectar in Bluffton.
We had a good meal at Nectar. Our server, Nickie (Nicky, nikki, etc), was very good, helpful in our selecting apps and dinner, and genuinely nice.. They are understaffed, like most places, so she was taking care of multiple large tables. Food was hot when served. Longer wait between courses because of staffing. Meatloaf and short ribs were good.
Just ok visit this time. Both of us ordered the butter bean burger. Burger had good taste but was supposed to come with lettuce tomato and pickle - neither burger came with these included.
Food was good but wasn’t “hot” - it was odd. We will try it again but not overly impressed. Service was great.
Great options for all dietary needs and the food is delicious. We will be back!
A delicious variety of farm to table fare. Excellent service. It was the best restaurant we visited all week.
Great service, great food and service. I really appreciate that they accept reservations! Love the all day breakfast options! The cocktails were also delicious!
Great meal. Nice spot!
Food was very good. Had that farm fresh flavor and there peach sauce on the salmon was great. The waiter was attentive but could have been a little more personable. I would recommend to friends and family to try Nectar.
Innovative menu with variety of options. Broiled red snapper was outstanding. Tomato hand pie was savory starter. Enjoyed lunch and returned for dinner later in the week.
Fair quality food, tastes pretty good. Large portions
We were greeted by a smiling hostess and attended by a sweet server. Despite being short-handed (like every other place on Hilton Head) everyone we had contact with was very pleasant. We loved the beginning (biscuit basket with local honey and yummy preserves, and fried green tomatoes) and ending (delicious bread pudding) of our meal. Entree reviews were mixed…two thumbs up for meatloaf and BBQ ribs, a so-so for the smothered breast of chicken (heavy and the sauce was a bit pasty) and a thumbs down for the roasted sirloin (chewy and tough). All in all a pleasant, if a bit uneven, dinner. We will likely try again when we’re back on the island. The breakfast menu looks pretty great, so we might give a morning meal a try.
Food was mediocre at best, crab cake had a weird taste and pork chop was tough.
Dinner food was ok. I would go there only for the breakfast food.
Dinner portions were great others on the smaller side.
Not a place to go celebrate a life event, more of a weekday place.
Relaxed atmosphere that was quiet for the most part.
Dinner was unique and delicious. Loved the tomato hand pie. Outdoor space was lovely.
Crowded resulting in slow service. Blacken catfish was flavorful. Spareribs, mac&cheese just ok. Surprised they did not have cornbread.
This was the best restaurant we enjoyed while visiting Hilton Head. Delicious farm to table cuisine and lovely staff
The food was excellent. We had salmon and short ribs. Bothe were delicious. The interior of the restaurant is very warm and welcoming. Our waitress was knowledgeable and helpful. They also serve an exceptional old fashion. We will be back!
Great food and great service!
Our reservation was at 6:15 so the restaurant wasn't crazy busy yet. As our meal progressed and more diners came in, it got louder. It didn't help the tables next us each had an obnoxiously loud diner at them. Obviously, no fault of the restaurant! We were fortunate to have Ramone as our server. He was super helpful explaining the menu and was very attentive. We started with the tomato hand pie...delicious and served hot! I got the short rib meal as you can see in the picture. I was kind of disappointed as after pulling off all the fat, which was gross, there wasn't a lot of meat left. (I make short ribs so I know about the attached fat...it was just a lot) There was a lot going on with the plate. Was it horrible? No. Would I get it again? No. My husband got the sea bass special. That was a winner!! Flavorful and perfectly cooked. We shared a buttermilk biscuit...yum!!
Always a good meal...always can get a table. Great friendly people.
First time dining here; will definitely to back to try other items on their menu.
We enjoyed devil crab balls and tomato pie for starters. Entrees were Blue crab on grits and spinach salad with fried oysters.
This was our second time dining at Nectar. We were here last April. We were somewhat disappointed in the overall experience this trip. It is apparent that covid has caused some struggles. Our server was mediocre at best. We felt like we were his last table of the night and he really didn’t want to take care of us. My husband wanted to come back for the fried chicken sandwich. It didn’t compare to our first visit. We had We asked twice for a dessert menu.
Food was delicious but one entree was 20 minutes late while everyone else meal cooled waiting for the last plate. Mgr comped that entree. But the food was cold when everyone was finally served.
This beyond charming restaurant hits all marks as far as our group was concerned. Creative menu that really delivered on flavor. Even the cocktails were fun! Every single dish, from the fried green tomatoes to the meatloaf were eye-rollingly delicious. The only thing that was less than perfect was the service, but it seemed clear they were a bit under-staffed. Food was delivered in a timely fashion but there was a lack of attention to detail( checking on filling beverages and clearing plates, etc.). But this by no means will prevent us from returning. The portions and the quality were a good fit for the pricing as well. Thank you, Nectar for making our anniversary a scrumptious one to remember.
Had a delightful meal dining outside. Shrimp was excellent as was the blackened catfish.
The food was delightful. Still thinking about the biscuits. Wonderful Cobb salad. Overall high quality ingredients well prepared.
We were seated near the kitchen where someone was periodically raising their voice to someone else. There were many available tables and we had a reservation...
The food was good but not memorable and portions were overgenerous.
First trip to Nectar. Very enjoyable evening. Busy night, but Charlie the bartender was very attentive and informative. Enjoyed our two salads with the fresh local ingredients, especially the blue cheese.
Good food, many options for different people. Unfortunately the waiter seemed to have a bad day; he declined to offer any recommendations and only have one or two word answers to questions. When we received our food he had forgotten several sides and forgot to submit our appetizers which then became a second course.
Salad was not fresh. Food was barely lukewarm when we were served. Waiter was very inattentive. Very disappointing.
Great food! We loved the sweet potato biscuits with butter and honey.
EXCELLENT food and service! It was our final meal on HH and to best honest, I hadn't had a great cocktail yet. I opted for the blood orange margarita and it was fantastic. Our kids even said it was the best meal we had on vacation. Don't sleep on Nectar.
Our waiter was fantastic and great service. The food was great.
The green tomato and deviled eggs were phenomenal to start. Great cocktails all around. Would highly recommend to everyone has they have plenty of savory options
Ate outside. Was relaxing. Waitress was great, food was delicious.
