This is a really nice spot, convenient to the freeway. The food is excellent - I had the bento box at lunch, and the quality and variety was outstanding. The chef made an adjustment to accommodate a dietary preference. Service is friendly and caring. And parking next door is very easy.

This was my first time to Necco and the food was amazing that I would recommend it to my picky parents, friends and co-workers.

This was one of my best dining experience in recent weeks. Food was tasty yet maintained a casual style. Happy Hour tapas were flavorful but not overpowering. My favorite dishes were the cold tofu and tofu okonomiyaki. It was on the pricer end for a casual dinner, but I would like to go back from time to time because the food was great and the ambiance was tranquil.

Necco is a wonderful spot for vegans, veggies, and carnivores of all levels. It is absolutely delicious. The food is inventive and smart. Romantic for a date night, anniversary, or just to gang out and catch up with friends. Love, love, love!

It's a truly unique restaurant with highly inventive dishes from Japan and freshest, most varied ingredients. A very special, small and quiet restaurant. Chef says hello to the guests. Great for foodies.

Fresh ingredients. Creative cuisine. A bit on the spicy side. Make sure to discuss options with the server if you do not like spicy food.

The star of the night was the SPICY TUNA SASHIMI. It's not a typical spicy tuna at all. It doesn't have mayo on it or anything. It has tuna sashimi marinated in a soy-ponzu sauce beautifully wrapped around tiny green onions, along with a few (but not too many) leafy greens and shaved nuts. It was one of the best sashimi plates I've ever had. No fishy taste to it, and the texture of it all was sublime. Way better than ordinary sashimi! I didn't really miss having rice at all.

Generally speaking, Necco is a nice restaurant for when you want to go out to dinner but don't want to feel guilty afterwards. If you go, you must order the spicy tuna sashimi!

Necco had good reviews and press. All the positive comments were right. One of the nicest meals in a long time. Everything was prepared and created with care and a keen approach to making delicious offerings. All that we ordered had waves of flavors. The special tomato scallop Carpaccio was outstanding. Unexpectedly, the lamb chops were amazing - maybe in the top five best we have experienced having had lamb chops in many places around the world. The Bites are a tasty combination of ingredients. Sake choices are very good. The service was friendly and attentive. I usually ask for recommendations and they were all good ones. Will return and have already suggested Necco to my friends. Thanks! And... OpenTable is great, too!

Have lived in the neighborhood and passed this restaurant since it opened. We were looking for somewhere new to try and were very happy with our food etc. The service was a bit slow and it is very small and kind of loud but will go back!

I took my mom for mother's day because she is Japanese and I'm vegan. She is usually critical of Japanese restaurants, but she thought it was authentic, even if it had a modern twist to it. We both thought the food was amazing. And they passed out a single rose for each mother at the end.
