Very expensive for what you get. Glad they have vegan options but not worth the price. We tried almost all vegan dishes on the menu and they taste so so. They got busy after 7 so I guess their regular meat and seafood is good. I won't bother if the entire party is vegan but fine if you are trying to accommodate vegan.

First time to this restaurant; had some great vegan options. We loved their food - very original items. The place is small, so be sure to make a reservation.

My 2nd time to this neighborhood gem. Much better as this time there were 4 of us so we could try more things. All of them were delicious.

This is a really nice spot, convenient to the freeway. The food is excellent - I had the bento box at lunch, and the quality and variety was outstanding. The chef made an adjustment to accommodate a dietary preference. Service is friendly and caring. And parking next door is very easy.

This was one of my best dining experience in recent weeks. Food was tasty yet maintained a casual style. Happy Hour tapas were flavorful but not overpowering. My favorite dishes were the cold tofu and tofu okonomiyaki. It was on the pricer end for a casual dinner, but I would like to go back from time to time because the food was great and the ambiance was tranquil.

My boyfriend and I love going out to eat, trying new flavors and enjoying an adult beverage or two. Necco checked so many boxes for us. It was inventive! dishes were a mix of curries and sushi like snack bites. We also enjoyed the plethora of vegetarian options that used seasonal and fresh produce.

It was also a real treat to enjoy dessert! Since Necco doesn't use any processed or refined sugar, we were able to "indulge" in a sweet made with coconut sugar and cocoa. Yum. Yum.

I'd recommend this place to lovers of asian fusion, sushi and veggies!

The star of the night was the SPICY TUNA SASHIMI. It's not a typical spicy tuna at all. It doesn't have mayo on it or anything. It has tuna sashimi marinated in a soy-ponzu sauce beautifully wrapped around tiny green onions, along with a few (but not too many) leafy greens and shaved nuts. It was one of the best sashimi plates I've ever had. No fishy taste to it, and the texture of it all was sublime. Way better than ordinary sashimi! I didn't really miss having rice at all.

Generally speaking, Necco is a nice restaurant for when you want to go out to dinner but don't want to feel guilty afterwards. If you go, you must order the spicy tuna sashimi!

Necco had good reviews and press. All the positive comments were right. One of the nicest meals in a long time. Everything was prepared and created with care and a keen approach to making delicious offerings. All that we ordered had waves of flavors. The special tomato scallop Carpaccio was outstanding. Unexpectedly, the lamb chops were amazing - maybe in the top five best we have experienced having had lamb chops in many places around the world. The Bites are a tasty combination of ingredients. Sake choices are very good. The service was friendly and attentive. I usually ask for recommendations and they were all good ones. Will return and have already suggested Necco to my friends. Thanks! And... OpenTable is great, too!
