Menu offerings include a wide variety of traditional Italian antipasti, bruschetta, Neapolitan pizza and entrees made on premise. Nebo also features a full bar, a comprehensive whiskey list and an extensive Italian wine list of over 100 bottles . Many of these selections are offered by the quartino – presented in individual carafes, just enough for those wishing to share and compare.
Excellent service, freshly prepared plates, just an all out good experience.
The food was very good and the service was fabulous. NEBOs is one of my favorites. The calamari is fantastic and the zucchini lasagna is not to be missed.
Always a great experience. The Gino is a fave
This is a lovely restaurant, with an excellent waitstaff. It if far to typical today of being so loud, music blaring and people shouting over it that you cannot have a conversations. The Appetizers and cocktails were very good, but the very expensive entrees were very mediocre, do not think we will go back.
Always awesome. Boston’s Best. The food is sublime. The ambience fabulous. The staff excellent and top notch - just a delight - especially Lewis!
Grazzi and Lewis were both amazing waitstaff and the food is phenomenal!
Pizza was amazing! The Gino. Caesar was very fresh but they put so so so little dressing it was dry. I usually don’t overall dressing so when I say it’s dry IT’s DRY. SERVICE WAS PERFECT AS ALWAYS!
Great food as always
I wish i could remember our waitresses name bc she was phenomenal! But it was our first time at Nebo and honestly it is now one of our favorite restaurants! Our waitresses reccomendations were spot on and the sauce was hands down the best pasta sauce I’ve had besides my Italian mother in laws! We eat out A LOT and Nebo is one place we wish we tried a long time ago! Hats off to the chef!
Food was subpar. Pasta did not taste homemade. My first time there and was disappointed because I am in love with the Nebo tuna lunch item.
Food is amazing!
The food was overpriced and they didn’t have what we asked for (balsamic glaze).
BEST Branzino out there!!! Yum, yum and thank you
Great food, OK service. My only complaint is that the restaurant can be loud. That said, I'll definitely be returning!
Delicious as always. Little on the noisy side. Great views of the city.
Visiting our son who is in college
Excellent service exceptional food!
I scheduled a business lunch at Nebo with someone I had never met in person and who was doing me a favor by meeting. I arrived early to be at the restaurant before him, checked in for my reservation., and was seated. My dining companion showed up 20 minutes later, only to inform me that he was waiting for me for 20 minutes - at another table. He had given the host my name and asked for my table, but no one checked that I already was there. It was embarrassing and wasted the limited time we had together. While the food at Nebo was good as always, the professionalism was severely lacking, and I won't schedule any other business meetings there.
Valentine’s Day gift from our daughter so very special. We had a lovely time though it was quite noisy (we were definitely on the older side of the patrons so undoubtedly couldn’t hear as well as most). The food was fine though not outstanding. But as I said we had a very happy time.
Service was a bit slow. Surprised I was able to make a reservation for one. Normally I am always told there are no openings
We returned a second time with friends & will do so again! Thank you.
Excellent service, wonderful atmosphere, and fantastic food! Many gluten free options for those with allergies as well.
FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE! Nebo was the worst dining experience I have ever had hands down. Quality of food, customer service, and timeliness were all terrible. The biggest thing I want to review is their customer service. Their managers (I spoke to two; a man and a woman. I wish I got their names) were both extremely rude, snobby and worst of all the man literally said that, AND I QUOTE, I was “not a fit” for Nebo. Are you kidding me? What person in the restaurant industry would say that to a customer?! In addition to the terrible service and hospitality, the food was awfully bland (which you’ll notice other reviewers have said the same about this place too). The veal cutlet I ordered was legitimately rubber. I seriously could not cut into it at all. I sawed and sawed at it with a knife, but the thing simply would not cut. That’s when I told the manager, and found out I was “not a fit”... Go find somewhere else and don’t waste your money at Nebo. Walk half a mile down the street to Boston’s North End and you’ll find hundreds of better restaurants that have real authentic Italian food.
We were seated near the bar which was very noisy and by the door which was freezing. I was disappointed that we didn’t have a real table even though we had reserved one. We ordered the bread (paid for it, usually it’s free?) but it didn’t come with any olive oil. Then when we paid for the meal we gave two cards but only one card was run on the whole bill. The pasta was tasty but being seating right next to the door and at the bar made the whole experience less than worth the high prices.
Fantastic meal; always accommodating to special needs and great service
Great food and atmosphere! The squid ink pasta with pan seared scallops was fantastic!
Probably the worst service I have ever had. Waitress messed up 4 out of 5 meals. Forgot multiple items, never asked how our meal was going or if we needed more drinks. Meals came out at scattered times. Waitress was rude
First trip to Boston
First time at NEBO - it was lunch - nothing too heavy - so I ordered the ROMA Spuckie sandwich - which was slow roasted porchetta, fried egg, crispy onion rings, tomato jam... sounded good.
Waiter seemed annoyed we were just getting sammies. Just an FYI - don't order this sandwich! the porchetta tasted and smelled like it was either microwaved or boiled... the onion rings were good...
Nice atmosphere but the food wasn’t as good as I expected it to be - especially for the price. My friend enjoyed her meal (sea bass) but I was disappointed with my gnocchi. We got the burrata as an appetizer and were surprised when it didn’t come with bread. We had to pay extra for a side of bread. Overall, not worth the price.
Great gluten free meal.. great choices!! We will definitely go to Nebo again!
The food was a mixed bag. The appetizers were very good, the zucchini lasagna was delicious, however, the bolognese was some of the worst I have had anyway. It did not taste like bolognese and was very acidic tomato taste. Very disappointing.
Nebo is an awesome spot, cool setting & lighting. Food is great.
It was a date night place for us. Loved the decor and ambiance. Service was lovely from the host to the waitress and food runner..
Pros: huge pro the Burrata was literally to die for delicious
Dessert fried dough strips with cappuccino gelato shut up it was so good. Fresh pasta was cooked perfectly and that garlic bread tho!!
Cons: loud, meatballs were a 4 out of 10 at best really dry little flavor. The sauce that came with was delicious
The bolo left a lot to be desired tasted like a tomato sauce that just had meat added, not a sauce that had been cooking with meat for hours.
Would definitely go back and try the pizza that looked amazing !!
Very nice. Server was great.
The service was good overall but the bar staff was a bit of putting when my friend asked a question about a wine. No need for that - the real issue is my friend is a professional and trained in this area and probably knew more than the bar staff. No need to be insulting.
"We love this place – one of the best places in Boston. The warm country olives, the Salami Misti with toasted Italian bread with the fig spread is amazing and the Bobby Flay zucchini lasagna puts all other restaurants to shame. Service is exceptional and friendly, a testament to the owners and the management.
I love Nebo. I have been countless times and referred several friends and coworkers. Every time it is consistently delicious!
I like Nebo and mostly have gone for dinner. But it is extremely overpriced. You charge for bread and don't provide pasta with dishes that would be good with pasta. You don't even have on your menu an option to order a side of pasta. I remember when you first open I asked for pasta and your staff said I would have to order another entree.
I got the lemon chicken which I thought was very good, but it just chicken and a few artichokes. No pasta, potato or vegetable. And serviced on this skinny plate to make it look like a bigger portion. And it was $23!!
