Nebo is always a perfect night out. The staff is so friendly, food delicious, and ambiance relaxing.
Nebo was wonderful! We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the great weather. At the recommendation of our waitress, Tammie, we ordered the Tagliatelle Cappesante and the Vitello Milanese. Both were excellent! We shared a Caprese salad (excellent, as well) and a bottle of Super Tuscan wine. For dessert we had Espresso Martinis (black). Wines are offered at all price points so the wine list was not at all intimidating and the Espresso Martinis were some of the best we have had. Tammie was very attentive and personable and allowed us to set the pace so we were able to have a very relaxed and enjoyable dinner. We look forward to going back.
This lovely restaurant with brick, yes brick, ceiling has terrific food and a great selection of dishes from antipasti, primi, secondi and desserts. In addition, they have a wonderful bar area and outside dining for those nice days. Our server, Sonny, was great and most helpful. The burrata was sensational and would highly recommend it.
Everything you expect to happen - happened. Seated right away - Waitress clicked with us right away asking if we have ever been at Nebo before and recommended a few things- not pushy at all just a sweet kid. I can’t believe that everything we ordered was yummy - so good that my daughter & I split dessert and my husband ordered another pizza! Just go and give it a chance- FYI my 1st review ever! Probably my last
Great service, pasta was good, mare shrimp pizza was alright, probably wouldn’t order it again.
I have not dined in Boston in months due to a cutback in business trips to Boston. So, I super thrilled that Nebo has finally reopened!! The quality and service remain unchanged from prior pre-Covid lockdown experiences.
This is a great restaurant for people with a variety of tastes - everything from pizza to meat dishes. Great gravy. Great desserts!
The good food we expected, and the patio was open - even better for a cooler summer night.
Multiple options for gluten-sensitive dining! I hadn't been to Nebo in a few years, and what a wonderful meal and service we had on our return visit! From their gluten-free menu, I enjoyed the pulpo, calamari, Caprese salad, zucchini lasagna with Bolognese and the torta di cioccolatto for dessert. Food was delicious: especially liked the lightness/non-greasiness of the calamari, and the taste/texture of the zucchini lasagna. Oh, and we each loved every part of the Bellini flight for our beverages. Felt especially grateful to get a table for two by the window: worked well for both sound (not as loud) and distance from other dining patrons.
Excellent Italian cuisine and very friendly and accommodating staff.
The best gluten free menu
Our first time at Nebo was a 9:45 pm reservation due to late arrival in the city. Restaurant wasn’t very crowded so noise level can’t be truly evaluated. Bar had quite a few patrons! Server was excellent! Timely, thoughtful and was very personable. He made our visit just perfect!! I finished my glass of Merlot and decided to have a little of the bottle of Rose that was ordered at the table. He was refilling two glasses and walked away with the bottle - and I thought oh no! He came back with a clean flute for me instead of pouring in my wine glass as I was offering!! So my kudos to him (my apologies that I have forgotten his name as I made a point to try and remember!). The food: Antipasti: Calamari Fritti - light batter, great dipping sauce, just a little chewy. I had the Polenta Con Scampi - shrimp, lemon butter, garlic, parsley, grilled polenta, baccala mantecato - the polenta was like a cloud! Light and flavorful, the perfect match to the lemon, garlic and grilled shrimp. An excellent sized portion - I thought I would have leftovers- but it was too delicious to stop eating. Others ordered Tagliatelle Cappesante - lemon pasta with scallops; Pappardelle Alla Bolognese; Vitelli Milanese - veal cutlet with arugula salad; and a Tradizionale Pizza. Dessert - Spumoni Sundae and Flourless Chocolate Cake. The cake was my favorite! You could taste the espresso to enhance the chocolate flavor!! Perfect ending to the meal. Thank you Nebo kitchen staff & servers!!
The timing of the courses was off - they brought our entrees when we were still eating our appetizers. They took our entrees back to the kitchen “to keep them warm,” but when they returned to the table they had obviously been under a heat lamp and did not look appetizing and were still on the cold side. Our server was great and apologized profusely.
If you want a small amount of average "Italian" food extremely overpriced, then go here. Otherwise, check out a real Italian restaurant.
Gabriella was a wonderful waitress who gave us great recommendations. Food was incredible and we would absolutely come back.
Went for Girls Night. Had a Great Time.
Food was very good and reasonably priced. Our Waitress was fantastic, which I could remember her name so I could give her a shout out.
Loved the Location, Ambience was cool. Short walk to the North End afterwards too.
I recommend Nebo, give it a try!
Our server Christian was wonderful.
Carla and Christin are the perfect host for dinner and the food will always bring you back for more. 👍
Always a great experience, the calamari fritti never disappoints, and the branzini will fill you up. I enjoy the bourbon and whiskey selections, some of the best on the city.
First time - drinks were delicious, service was exceptional, Arancini was moist and tasty with the honey. Spaghetti with clams was tasty and the Fra Diavio was cooked to perfection. Flourless cake was to die for.
NEBO, once again, comes through with perfection. The owners, waitstaff and managers are present and making sure your every need is met. I always try to get Graciella!
I took my 6 year old grandson for a special date and he was so happy. Especially with his dessert!
Thank you, Bryan, Pallotta sisters and mom, Angie, for making our night so special!
Amazing place! Staff is unparalleled and food is the best in town!
The lasagna was cold in the center. It felt like it was warmed up in a microwave.
Food and service was excellent. Portions are on the smaller side. However, for the for the price point it makes sense. The bruscheta was some of the best we've ever had! Our server made great recommendations. The table next to us was loud but didn't ruin the evening. It's more of a family style restaurant than an intimate, romantic date night place. Would definitely recommend. Dying to try the pizza.
This was our second visit to Nebo and this time around we had a fantastic experience. We arrived about 30 minutes before our reservation and we’re seated quickly without any issues. Our server was so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and was able to make recommendations to adjust a menu item to accommodate my vegetarian diet. The olives are soooo good and I was really looking forward to them which they didn’t disappoint. I would definitely recommend Nebo for quality Italian food.
Great food..sooo good. Ambiance was really cool. A little loud but not terrible. I will be back next time I’m in Boston.
Extremely bad food!
DO NOT Order "Branzini" . Its the worst fish recipe I had in my entire life, I dont even understand how this item is still on the menu.
Service and ambience is great!
Great place in the financial district. Try their fig and bruschetta pizza, it is really good.
I wish they could do something about the noise level--in the dining area with an empty bar. But the gluten-free menu is the draw for us.
This was the best Italian comfort food in Boston, hands down
Delicious food, attentive staff. Lively. Perfect for a friends get together.
We waited over 20 minutes for someone to come and take our drink order. When we let them know how long we had waited they apologized but never offered a free app or something! And they charge for bread!
I had a great experience last time I was here but the service outside was really slow - like my boyfriend got his food 20 minutes before me and I ordered a gluten free pasta, for which I almost got handed a regular bolognese but I realized it didn’t look right so it got sent back. Overall the meal just took a long time and I wasn’t as impressed as last time I went.
We arrived a bit early for a reservation and were able to be seated, but we would've hung out at the bar if they were unable to do so - it was nice they could accommodate. The food was absolutely delicious - I had the pappardelle bolognese - the pasta was perfect and the bolognese was the best I've had. We had the polpettine (meatballs) to start - also delicious. Make sure to order bread to dip in their amazing sauce! Atmosphere is casual and unpretentious - just good food and wonderful service.
Well, Nebo glad you reopened! However, we did not have a good experience. The server was new, very sweet but not very good. Took my drink order but not my husbands! Asked for bread, never got it. Branzino poorly presented (no greens, no lemon just plunked on a plate). Manager asked how everything was going and proceeded to cut up my husband fish for him. I know she was trying to be helpful but was a bit awkward leaning over him. Ordered a caprese salad to accompany our meal. Came as an appetizer. Servicer brought me another glass of wine but not my husband. Ha! Alas, my bolognese was very good. No matter where you sit, the restaurant is super loud.
Wonderful for sidewalk dining on a summer night. The food was excellent - flavorful and well presented. Our server - Graci - was very acoomodating, knwledgeable and warm.
The service and the food was amazing. I can’t wait for my next trip to Boston to head there.
Stella was fantastic. As always, the expansive gluten free menu was appreciated. While drinks took a while, they were all well made.
We met friends at NEBO because it was their favorite restaurant pre-COVID-19. They were excited that it was open again. Our experience, however, was very disappointing. The service was extremely slow and the wait staff was inattentive. After asking for a few minutes to look over the menu, we had to flag her down after 20 minutes so we could order drinks and dinner. We had to request more water numerous times and even had to ask for bread—at an Italian restaurant! The Caprese Salad should not have been on offer because the tomatoes were hard and flavorless; not yet ripe. We had had many delicious ripe tomatoes at B&Bs and small restaurants in Vermont that week, so it shouldn't have been hard for an expensive Italian restaurant in Boston to find ripe tomatoes. The Bolognese sauce was bland and lacked flavor. Again, an Italian restaurant in Boston should have flavorful Bolognese sauce as a staple on the menu. My wife did enjoy her zucchini lasagne and our guests appreciated the gluten-free options. This was the first time at NEBO for me and my wife. We hope they improve now that they are able to operate fully again.
