Menu offerings include a wide variety of traditional Italian antipasti, bruschetta, Neapolitan pizza and entrees made on premise. Nebo also features a full bar, a comprehensive whiskey list and an extensive Italian wine list of over 100 bottles . Many of these selections are offered by the quartino – presented in individual carafes, just enough for those wishing to share and compare.
It was a date night place for us. Loved the decor and ambiance. Service was lovely from the host to the waitress and food runner..
Pros: huge pro the Burrata was literally to die for delicious
Dessert fried dough strips with cappuccino gelato shut up it was so good. Fresh pasta was cooked perfectly and that garlic bread tho!!
Cons: loud, meatballs were a 4 out of 10 at best really dry little flavor. The sauce that came with was delicious
The bolo left a lot to be desired tasted like a tomato sauce that just had meat added, not a sauce that had been cooking with meat for hours.
Would definitely go back and try the pizza that looked amazing !!
Very nice. Server was great.
The service was good overall but the bar staff was a bit of putting when my friend asked a question about a wine. No need for that - the real issue is my friend is a professional and trained in this area and probably knew more than the bar staff. No need to be insulting.
"We love this place – one of the best places in Boston. The warm country olives, the Salami Misti with toasted Italian bread with the fig spread is amazing and the Bobby Flay zucchini lasagna puts all other restaurants to shame. Service is exceptional and friendly, a testament to the owners and the management.
I love Nebo. I have been countless times and referred several friends and coworkers. Every time it is consistently delicious!
I like Nebo and mostly have gone for dinner. But it is extremely overpriced. You charge for bread and don't provide pasta with dishes that would be good with pasta. You don't even have on your menu an option to order a side of pasta. I remember when you first open I asked for pasta and your staff said I would have to order another entree.
I got the lemon chicken which I thought was very good, but it just chicken and a few artichokes. No pasta, potato or vegetable. And serviced on this skinny plate to make it look like a bigger portion. And it was $23!!
Little noisy, but I’m over 50. Lol
We went to Nebo for an anniversary dinner with another couple, thought we'd try something new to us. We were NOT disappointed, absolutely incredible. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly employees from hostess to the table clearer. We highly recommend Luis D as a waiter. He made excellent suggestions for drinks, apps and entree's. He was attentive at all times but never hovering over you. Highly recommend Nebo!
Nebo is at a nice location with excellent wait staff but very ordinary Italian food. We were a group of 4 with a baby. The attention from the waiter made it a nice evening for us. The kitchen needs to be a lot better to be considered worthwhile. Ordered multiple appetizers and 4 entrees and drinks. Spent almost $400 and the food wasn't worth it. Won't be back!!
The restaurant was great about making sure our food was gluten free and safe for us to eat. It was delicious.
New Year’s Eve dinner. Super yummy! Love the sisters.
Nebo never disappoints!! The most amazing food! Our waiter Louis is the best!! Very professional and attentive!!
It was New Year’s Eve and the food was absolutely delicious. The bad side was that we felt pressured since they were so busy. One may view the waitress coming to our table that often as energetic and helpful, but for us it felt like we were rushed. The restaurant was loud since every seat was taken.
However, the food was great and we had a nice time.
Fantastic food served with consideration and an easy pace on a busy night (NY Eve). Chistina and Carla are superb chefs and warm and welcoming hosts.
My husband and I had a wonderful New Year’s Eve dinner at Nebo!! The atmosphere was amazing and the food was spectacular (I highly recommend the zucchini lasagna with Bolognese sauce)!! We sat and took our time, taking in the scene and people walking by us (we had a window table). We didn’t plan on staying for dessert but we didn’t want to leave so we ordered a couple of cappuccino’s and the Deconstructed Cannoli which was out of this world!! We have already told our friends and will definitely be back again : )
The food and atmosphere was great. It was the service that they lacked in. The hostesses were not friendly by any means and were a bit stand offish. The waiter was very friendly but was slow to attend to us.
Fantastic service, delicious dinner, and an enjoyable experience with family. We’ll be back!
The ambiance was enjoyable. There was a celebrity sighting. Food was ok, not special. Apparently the chefs weren’t working that night:
We had 9 total, 4 adults and the rest 6yo-8mos. The owner ensured we had a great table, delivered fresh ricotta cheese for the baby, and padded our lobster baby seat! Amazing people, from the front door through the last bite. Food was super, and the service impeccable - the owners friendly ways were evident with every interaction we had!
Very negative experience. Was violently ill to the point of coming close to calling an ambulance because gluten wa son the food I ordered. And when I called the next day to report it, they were NOT accountable and tried to blame me. Totally unacceptable for a restaurant. Accept responsibility and move on!
Great food and great friendly service. Would highly recommend.
We went to Nebo for a girls dinner. OMG this is my new favorite restaurant! Every staff member we encountered was exceptional, from the bartender, hostess, seating hostess, our waiter and our buser. Plus, the owner and chef came to our table! The drinks were perfect and the food was out of this world. Do yourself a favor and go!
Dinner with friends before a concert. Food is always excellent and prices are not bad for downtown Boston.
Nebo is an all-time favorite of ours as the service, atmosphere and food are excellent. They do gluten free very well and it is always so wonderful to have delicious food at Nebo.
Outstanding food/ service. Had not been in a while. Enjoyed their vegetable lasagna while my colleagues enjoyed their creative salads. Highly recommend. Great experience.
Visited Boston and was looking for authentic Italian. Great service and great food, highly recommended.
Food was great. Given how relatively not busy they were, we would have expected prompter service.
Fabulous food, great wine selection and wonderful staff
You have to have the zucchini lasagna and arroncini!
Delicious burrata, aracini with honey, broccoli rabe and risotto. Only the warm olives were a slight my miss (way too many)!
We enjoyed and would definitely go back. No complaints. Thank you
Food was good but not overly inventive, i.e. for the most part similar to other Italian restaurants. The portions were good sized and the waitress was fine. I liked the veal, also tried the cioppato which was a really good red sauce. I found the value pretty good as it wasn't one of these precious restaurants with high prices and small portions.
The waitress was not very attentive, kept having to ask for things and always had empty drinks.
The food was very good and our server took very good care of us, but when we walked in (we came in from the bar side from the parking garage), it had a very strong smell of beer as if many glasses were spilled on the floor. The dining room, thankfully, did not have this problem but we happened to sit next to a table that was quite loud. Because of the high ceilings, the restaurant was loud in general. Our drive into Boston takes at least an hour so I was hoping for something with a bit more ambiance rather than an obvious after work crowd (although there’s nothing wrong with that!). It’s not the kind of restaurant I would drive an hour for specifically, but If I’m in Boston for something else and needed a place to eat, I would feel confident that I would get a good meal.
I eat here all the time but on Monday night everything was average. The lasagna had very little flavor and my friends (who were new to NeBo) thought the food was just okay. Did they switch chefs?
Brought a friend to this restaurant so that we could both celebrate a special birthday. Overall our meal was good. We started with the grilled octopus and that was rubbery and tasted a tiny bit fishy - but that was the low point of the meal. The branzino we shared for dinner was fantastic! Seriously, perfection in my opinion. We also had some sides that were excellent.
I celebrated my birthday on Saturday. Nebo was perfect! We were so pleased with the service and the place is so beautiful. I loved all the artwork throughout the restaurant - especially the one in the ladies room! The owner and her mom were there that particular night and both of them stopped by our table. So friendly, home cooked meals and great ambiance!
Closest to my grandmother’s cooking outside of my house
Better than expected. The food was excellent and so was the service. Price was very reasonably including wine. Noise was a bit high at noon but very low by 1 PM. A great place close to South Station. We will be back!
We had great service. Food was awesome, large portions so we certainly ordered too much. The space can get VERY loud. We were sat close to the bar area which was bustling when we arrived, it may be quieter if you're seated further back.
A very nice dining experience. Cool vibe, solid grub xxxxxxxxcccccccccxxxxxxxxccccxxxxxcccccccccccc (is that 50?)
