Menu offerings include a wide variety of traditional Italian antipasti, bruschetta, Neapolitan pizza and entrees made on premise. Nebo also features a full bar, a comprehensive whiskey list and an extensive Italian wine list of over 100 bottles . Many of these selections are offered by the quartino – presented in individual carafes, just enough for those wishing to share and compare.
Nebo is an all-time favorite of ours as the service, atmosphere and food are excellent. They do gluten free very well and it is always so wonderful to have delicious food at Nebo.
Outstanding food/ service. Had not been in a while. Enjoyed their vegetable lasagna while my colleagues enjoyed their creative salads. Highly recommend. Great experience.
Visited Boston and was looking for authentic Italian. Great service and great food, highly recommended.
Food was great. Given how relatively not busy they were, we would have expected prompter service.
Fabulous food, great wine selection and wonderful staff
You have to have the zucchini lasagna and arroncini!
Delicious burrata, aracini with honey, broccoli rabe and risotto. Only the warm olives were a slight my miss (way too many)!
We enjoyed and would definitely go back. No complaints. Thank you
Food was good but not overly inventive, i.e. for the most part similar to other Italian restaurants. The portions were good sized and the waitress was fine. I liked the veal, also tried the cioppato which was a really good red sauce. I found the value pretty good as it wasn't one of these precious restaurants with high prices and small portions.
The waitress was not very attentive, kept having to ask for things and always had empty drinks.
The food was very good and our server took very good care of us, but when we walked in (we came in from the bar side from the parking garage), it had a very strong smell of beer as if many glasses were spilled on the floor. The dining room, thankfully, did not have this problem but we happened to sit next to a table that was quite loud. Because of the high ceilings, the restaurant was loud in general. Our drive into Boston takes at least an hour so I was hoping for something with a bit more ambiance rather than an obvious after work crowd (although there’s nothing wrong with that!). It’s not the kind of restaurant I would drive an hour for specifically, but If I’m in Boston for something else and needed a place to eat, I would feel confident that I would get a good meal.
I eat here all the time but on Monday night everything was average. The lasagna had very little flavor and my friends (who were new to NeBo) thought the food was just okay. Did they switch chefs?
Brought a friend to this restaurant so that we could both celebrate a special birthday. Overall our meal was good. We started with the grilled octopus and that was rubbery and tasted a tiny bit fishy - but that was the low point of the meal. The branzino we shared for dinner was fantastic! Seriously, perfection in my opinion. We also had some sides that were excellent.
I celebrated my birthday on Saturday. Nebo was perfect! We were so pleased with the service and the place is so beautiful. I loved all the artwork throughout the restaurant - especially the one in the ladies room! The owner and her mom were there that particular night and both of them stopped by our table. So friendly, home cooked meals and great ambiance!
Better than expected. The food was excellent and so was the service. Price was very reasonably including wine. Noise was a bit high at noon but very low by 1 PM. A great place close to South Station. We will be back!
We had great service. Food was awesome, large portions so we certainly ordered too much. The space can get VERY loud. We were sat close to the bar area which was bustling when we arrived, it may be quieter if you're seated further back.
A very nice dining experience. Cool vibe, solid grub xxxxxxxxcccccccccxxxxxxxxccccxxxxxcccccccccccc (is that 50?)
Great location and Zach our server was absolutely terrific. We enjoyed the warm olives and grilled bread, and the margharita 'za was fine.
Great food, Great service. Perfect for lunch
When we arrived, the restaurant was packed and the only table they had for us was in the bar (I had not requested that area.) . The bar was packed and very, very loud. We waited 15 minutes for another table to open up and then it was a small table for 2 which they made into a 3-seater. Not the most comfortable, but the food made up for it. Way too noisy a restaurant for talking, however.
The service was excellent, but the food was rather disappointing. My pasta was pretty tasty but needed a more sauce to make the flavor and texture more interesting.
Excellent food, great service
Giovanni was a great server. The drinks were amazing and the food was unbelievable. Don’t skip the bread it’s what I dream about. Overall amazing place definitely recommend.
This is our favorite spot and love the food, but service has just gone downhill and instead of having a relaxing dinner. We are having to wait all evening long for drinks and food because they are either short staff or just have new people. Our server was friendly but she avoided us because she knew we were waiting long periods of time for cocktails and food.
Our first visit to Nebo. Bar scene very crowded and loud but we came for dinner. Had the calamari and the chicken dish. Was delicious! Great service, too. We will be back.
It’s tough to find a restaurant (especially Italian) with such an extensive gluten free menu - so I’m so happy we discovered Nebo! Great service, knowledgeable waiter, and most importantly DELICIOUS food! We will certainly be back.
Bucatini Fra Diavalo was too mild. Zucchini Lasagna was nothing special.
Love their gluten free menu!!
The food was amazing, the service great, and the gluten free menu was wonderful!
I could happily live on the grilled bread and the acqua pazza. The Arctic char is always perfectly cooked and the crispy skin is to die for. The grilled bread is a great vehicle to stop up the last bits of the delicious broth.
The most Disappointing meal I've had dining out. Braciole was dry. Bibb salad was a head of lettuce filled with other ingredients (figs - hard, gorgonzola dolce - chewy. Looked lovely but awkward to eat. Brushetta tasted of cooking fuel. My friend enjoyed her shrimp entree.
Food was GREAT! - after the food was delivered, we didn't see the waiter until it was desert or check time - a bit annoying as we would have like to be checked on. But everything else was great...
Great GF options.
Very noisy place. Very busy for a Wednesday. Cesare salad was almost absent dressing...... waiter was awol, ask for it on the side. Pollo alla lemmone was quite tasty. Had a glass of Chianti Classico which was very good for a wine by the glass.
Pasta was awesome!!!
We had to yell across the table to hear one another. The service was great, but the food was average and overpriced. Four salads and 4 waters was $100. I won’t be rushing back.
Nebo never disappoints! I had Cioppino and it was delicious. As soon as I placed my order I almost changed to my go to "the zucchini lasagna" and was so happy that I didn't. Love this place, treat yourself!
The food is the reason you go. It is a fairly limited menu but everything is good.
If you like to have water with your lunch you might consider bringing your own. Little attention is paid by any of the staff to your water.
Was at Nebo for a friends get together. Service was great. Server made several good recommendations. Food was delicious and came out hot (very important). Made for an enjoyable evening from appetizer to coffee.
We had a superb evening celebrating my daughter's birthday. Graziella was our server and was wonderful! Knowledgeable, attentive, and great with my daughter's allergies. We felt so comfortable and sure with her care and the other servers too, who mentioned the allergies when placing food on the table. Food was delicious. We will be back!
