The food and staff were fantastic! We went with some friends we haven't seen in a while. The waitress was attentive checking back to see if we wanted to place a food order. We always have a great time when we go to NEAT!

We always have great service at Neat! The bartenders, Justin and Alex are very knowledgeable about the beer on tap and they mix a terrific old-fashioned. The food never disappoints, you can’t go wrong with the short rib grilled cheese and the chocolate bread pudding.

My sliders were rare when I asked for med well. This and soup was my entree. A new plate was made. But I feel that a percentage off my bill should have been compensated for the mistake :(

NEAT KITCHEN has quietly become the place to eat in the western suburbs. The food is excellent, and the service is great. And it's such a fun place to eat, as well. And now that the music is a little lower and you can talk at dinner, it is absolutely outstanding. The PANKO chicken is tremendous. Don't miss it, seriously. KATHY & DAVE RICORDATI

We have not been to this restaurant in a few years. We enjoyed the food! We shared the Onion Soup and it was delicious. My husband had the short ribs over mashed potatoes that were tender and delicious. He loved to mushroom demi. I had the Rigatoni with chicken, tomatoes and a pesto cream that was very tasty. I would have liked a piece of bread to sop up the delicious sauce. We shared a bottle of Malbec wine. Our complaint would be that they brought out our entrees before we finished to soup. We were not in a hurry and the restaurant was not crowded so we don't know what the rush was so we had to hurry to eat the soup. We will go back, and not wait so long. Our server was friendly and helpful.

The buttermilk chicken sandwich had a very small piece of chicken. It did not come close to the edge of the bun. This was brought to the attention of the waiter. He did tell me the owner/manager. He avoided us for the rest of the evening. Very disappointing for a restaurant we frequent.

Highly enjoyable evening, excellent service in a lively environment. Our server Bri was friendly and attentive. White sangria was delicious and just lightly sweet! Highlights from the menu included the poutine, short rib grilled cheese, and seared ahi. We did not bring our kids, but they do seem kid friendly so we will go back again. Husband thought they had a great beer and bourbon list. Perfect little anniversary celebration dinner for us.

Our server, James, was attentive but not pushy. Lovely. The problem was the noise level from a private party which was not so private. My IWatch notified me that I was in a LOUD NOISE environment and needed to use ear protection. No fooling! I could only hear the person right next to me, and none of the other four people with me. The food was very delicious, though a little bit pricey for the quantity received, the desserts were GREAT, and we had fun (thought we might have permanent hearing loss...) The party room needs a sound-proof door between it and the dining area. I am REALLY glad NEAT is popular, but this was too loud.

My hamburger came with a few toppings and it was tasty but the bun kept breaking into pieces with every bite. I ended up using a fork and knife. Another person in the party had a side salad and said it had a lot of croutons but not much lettuce. The Po boy shrimp sandwich was good as was the French onion soup. Server and table clearer were attentive.

Always a nice place to dine but can be a bit noisy….that’s a good thing, as the restaurant was near capacity. Our waitress, Emma, was wonderful. She had a smile on her face, was pleasant & personable throughout the dining experience. One of the best waitresses we’ve been served by in quite a while!! The food was tasty; but smaller in portions from times past. Ahhhh….The economy! We shall return.
