Nazca Mochica has been designed to provide both a fine dining and casual experience. At the full service Nazca Restaurant you are invited to encounter Peruvian traditional food, such as causitas, anticuchos, lomo saltado, and seco de cordero.

Mochica’s pisco and cebiche bars feature made-to-order cebiche, paired with the Peruvian national spirit, Pisco, in a variety of cocktails, including the famous Pisco Sour. Guests sitting at the cebiche bar will have the opportunity to talk to the chefs and see them crafting a variety of cebiche dishes. Chefs may provide suggestions based on what is in season and to the patrons’ tastes. Mochica will also serve delectable tapas-style Peruvian and other South American dishes.

After coming here for a friends graduation dinner, I knew this was the place I wanted to come back to for my birthday. The food, service, and experience again was amazing! Would highly recommend for any occasion.

This is the only DC restaurant we happily return to! A diverse and exciting cocktail list, menu options for literally anyone, and such great flavors through every course. We have always had very knowledgeable and friendly servers which really takes the experience over the top. The pulpo and cebiche are not to be missed. We can't wait to return.

Much better quality and value that other Peruvian places in DC. Really enjoyed the dishes we ordered but as always overpriced drinks and TOO MUCH NOISE which really undermine pleasure in dining for me and visiting with friends. Turn down the music, really wish it would close up the kitchen and add some carpets and wall and ceiling covering to reduce the noise.

Service was so rushed, beginning from the moment we got in the door, that it made our dining experience uncomfortable. When two of us (out of a party of four) arrived, they wanted us to confirm that the other two were coming, because they had a very full list of reservations for the night. Once we were seated, the waiter almost immediately came to take our order. We told him we hadn't even picked up the menu yet, so he started explaining it, talking so fast that none of us could easily understand him (and this was in English!) It continued that way. Plates were removed from the table before others were finished, and then the server would come back and ask if we were done, despite having food on my fork halfway to my mouth. This would have been fine if we were headed to theater, but we weren't. I'd still recommend Nazca, because they have wonderful ceviche, but I'd caution other guests to be prepared for the speed.

The food is fantastic. My wife is Peruvian. She said it reminds her of being back home. The flavors and seasonings are perfect. There is no salt and pepper on tables, for good reasons. Not needed. Fantastic staff. The only issue is the way the lighting and the colors of the decor make taken pictures difficult.
