NAYA Mezze & Grill Ratings and Reviews
This was an amazing find when we were planning our weekend in New York. The prices were good and the food was amazing. The ambience was perfectly romantic which was appropriate since my girlfriend proposed to me the night before! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for good food in an intimate setting.
We used to go or take out Naya once a week for years. Last few times something has been off. Seems like they changed some recipes and this time our chicken was undercooked. It used to be one of our favorite restaurants in NYC so I hope they go back to their old ways.
Have been to Naya few times. Food consistently good and not too expensive.
Nice neighborhood spot. Enjoyable to have ethnic Mideastern food. Recommend trying
it. One negative: entrance very dark so it's easy to walk by and miss. Suggest better
lighting in front of restaurant. Would be more inviting when you walk in.
The food here is consistently excellent. There is a large number of appetizers and interesting combinations of dishes. They are presented well and prepared to maximize taste. Even the plain salad was delicious with pita croutons on top. I can't speak to the desserts on the menu at the restauarant because I am always full at the end of the meal and have no room to taste.
This was my second visit to Naya and it was just as fantastic as the first. The food is absolutely amazing. So much flavor, beautifully presented and just delicious. We ordered the Hummus with ground beef and pine nuts which was so tasty, I'd not had the before, I had grape leaves which are simply the best I've ever had, my parents ordered the lentil soup and raved about it and they both had chicken dishes for their main course. We took nothing home, we ate every bite. Also, they bring a tray of pits chips, olives and a herb dip to the table which I could make a meal of. I have not tired dessert but plan to on my next visit, I can only imagine how delicious that will be too. Do your self a favor and visit them soon. Also, the service staff is very friendly and just attentive enough to make your visit a pleasure.
NAYA really exceeded our expectations. My wife and I read some good reviews on yelp and decided to book a reservation.
As you might see in photos of NAYA, it's a really cool space. Perfect for couples with cleaver booths for two.
The service is very welcoming. The servers helped us select the right food and drinks. In fact the Lebanese brew recommend was exceptional.
For dinner we both had chicken, which was tender and tasty. The rice was also amazing.
Highly recommend to anyone who likes great food, great atmosphere and great service.
Really well-prepared traditional Lebanese fare, with an emphasis on fresh ingredients and balanced flavors. The tabbouleh, falafel and shish tawouk are among the best we've had. Awesome lamb chops. Fun, modern decor with charming tables for two. Great for a casual date-night.
