Enjoyed our table outside on a gorgeous summer night. Mushroom salad with polenta croutons was amazing. Wonderful wines to choose from.
For as long as I have been visiting Navy Yard Bistro I have only ever had great experiences. From the staff to the food to the ambiance - it’s a perfect dining experience for me and the guests that I bring with me.
Thank you navy yard bistro for always going above and beyond my expectations!
Closing in August. A real loss to the Navy Yard.
We were told that the Navy bistro was a must for the experience and the incredible value of fantastic food. I must say that the suggestion was warranted. The food was excellent the service superb and we had a wonderful evening.
Love this place. Can’t believe it is closing after the summer.
My Steak Frites were overcooked and I couldn't get a vodka martini with a Premium or Top Shelf vodka. HUH???
One of my favorite restaurants, we decided to order a sampling of apps on this visit. A couple were really great and a couple seemed off (seasoning wise, one over and one under). But I’ve had lots of amazing meals here.
We love Navy Yard Bistro we changed it up this time and tried the seafood special and it did not disappoint!
They are closing ☹️
Love this restaurant. Great service, great owner!
This is a wonderful restaurant with excellent ambiance, especially on the terrace. My scallops were over cooked but otherwise it was a perfect evening. So sorry this place is closing in August! Thank you.
Fabulous service! Excellent food!
Although the entree was very good, the bread was skimpy and the feeling was that staff checked out. No toweling in bathroom to dry hands, not very attentive. Over.
It had been a while since we had eaten at the Bistro so were especially pleased that the bartender, Doug greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. The service and food were excellent as always. We won't let so much time elapse before visiting this great local restaurant again.
Great good and ambience.
Menu has been expanded recently The new additions are excellent. Great wine list and eclectic mix of local food with favorites. Bar has a fun and cozy field. Never disappointed.
Excellent as usual.
Great night out we were well taken care of and the food was delicious!
Last dinner in Boston before we moved. It’s been our long time favorite. Truly the best roasted chicken ever!
Never a disappointment. One of the best restaurants in Boston. I hope they are able to find a new location by August!
A friend recommended this and as out of town folks from SC, we felt we were getting the real New England experience. Great service and food. Would go back in a heartbeat!
Fun little upscale gastro pub in Charlestown. Very nice servers, good wine list and very good food choices made for a nice meal in a comfortable environment. A bit out of the way, but a nice low-key option in C’town.
Excellent food and service. Everyone in group ordered a different entre and we were all pleased.
This time we went for the Valentines Day pre-fixe meal. It was superb, the service was fast and friendly, and the ambiance was amiable, all overseen by owner John Moore. This is a gem of restaurant and one of the very few at which we have never had an unsatistfactory meal or experience.
As always great service and great food. I had the curry fish dish with salmon instead of cod and it was delicious.
Terrific restaurant. My favorite spot.
Food was outstanding, service was excellent and atmosphere was great. A real find at this price point which was quite reasonable. So glad we discovered this spot.
Wonderful dining experience, solid bistro food and excellent service from Liliana, thank you!
Ambiance was excellent food was fabulous, had the duck and a Caesar Salad which were both outstanding. Will return again & again as we live in the area.
Learned later they recently lost their lease and clearly now they could care less about the business or their customers. So sad. It was a wonderful neighborhood gathering spot not that long ago - vibrant and a beloved part of the community.
Great night out with the wife. Friendly place with great food.
Convenient spot in Charlestown. Would like to give more stars, but stating it was a wine bar was disappointing. Ordered the wine from special list. They couldn’t find it. Ordered another, couldn’t find it. I felt bad for server, the manager should have helped her and spoke to us. Not representative of a wine bar. Food was delicious. Would give it another try in future.
Nice find off the tourist track in Boston. Liliane, our server, was delightful. Good food, solid wine list and a definite bistro vibe in the Navy Yard. All good, recommended.
I was surprised at the quality of my meal last weekend. I ordered the pan fried cod because it was super delicious 2 or 3 times before. Yet, it definitely was not of the same quality. It was soupy, less vegetables and cold. Disappointing.
Had Dinnet with friends outside in a quiet corner. Service and Food were Excellent We all enjoyed our meals ( Mussels, vegan lasagna, cod ) Everyone remarked on how much they enjoyed their meal. My only recommendation is a more full cocktail menu.
Food was pretty good. Service was excellent. Just a cool location for a night out.
Vacation dinner night out. We hadn’t eaten at the Navy Yard in a while and I must say it was well worth the trip.
Solid choice for locals and tourists. Menu is not huge but decent selection. Nice wine list.
The Navy Yard Bistro has the best roast chicken I have eaten in years. The other menu items were excellent as well. My wife had cod with a wonderful crispy crust. The wine selection is solid, and it is a great place to have a conversation.
