Good food, good service, good price!
Amazing night with my girlfriend sharing lobster for the first time. Food and service was excellence and atmosphere felt very intimate since we had our table by itself out on the dock. Perfect romantic dinner. Also drinks were so delicious
Disgusting food. Absolutely awful. When I read the menu online, all seems very good and that is why we decided to go. Ehat you get on your plate is a total different story. I order a green ceviche it was a big as a soup bowl. Big piece of fish uncut lying under a green swamp of sauce. My husband ordered another ceviche, all the fish were cooked not in lime or else but boiled tasteless and served like a tartar even though it was huge piece of boiled fish tasteless. As it was real bad we ordered the smoked marlin fish tostadas in the hope it would be better but it tasted like ammonia. We couldn t even eat it. Main courses: octopus grilled: fortunately was ok but this time it was tiny portion. And I ordered the libster tacos which really seems yummy when reading the menu. However it was 3 crepes ( pancakes) already filled with 5 % of lobster and 95% of mashed potatoes. Really?!! In mexico how can food be that bad. I even asked for tomatillo or spicy sauce to put on the mashed potato plate but they didn t have any.?!! Mexico really. I would eat better food in germany! Desserts: the most original one with plantain was not available on the menu since long time apparently. So we had the lime pie which was actually a unnatural flavoured cheesecake and the flan was ok ( probably the safest option on the menu). Totall bill with wine: 200$ . For that price go to eat michelin star chef benazuza restaurant. Obviously restaurant was absolutely empty. Us and 3
Other tables when the place is huge. I hope they gonna close soon and avoid the same disappointing experience to other clients. Waste of time and money. AVOID absolutely . My only guess is that the good reviews are fake reviews
Very nice restaurant in a quite area of the hotel zone. Beautiful setting on the lagoon, excellent service and food preparation. My wife had filet mignon and I had salmon. Both very well prepared and tasty. Don't miss it!
Beautiful setting. Excellent food. Definitely get the clam chowder for a starter. Terrific service. Will definitely go back on our next trip to Cancun.
Very good. Adam was very helpful. Beautiful table. Took care of our group of 18 well.
Great location with amazing views. That is all I can say that is positive. Starting with service. It was confusing. We had 4 different waiters take our order and it took 4 waiters to get a drink order correct. Service was a complete mess. The food was no better. Average is kind. Our sides where cold the main was poorly executed. We both had different grouper dishes and both where Omer cooked rubbery and under seasoned. We did see a crocodile which was fun. I should have fed him my fish.
Setting - perfect. If less than 6 people cannot book a palapa.
Service - overall good. White table cloth, not the common trend in Cancun.
Food - mediocre to good. I had the steak/lobster combo - actually very good, though small portions.
Others - they do include a 15% tip, that seems the norm in Cancun these days.
We were excited to dine at Navios but were disappointed. Significantly disappointed. The service was beyond subpar, which we tried to contribute to the server perhaps having a bad day however, he energetically included a 15% tip on our bill without inquiry. The ceviche was bland and included fish that looked as if it was chopped by a 5 year old with plastic scissors. The fish tacos were fine, just fine. It would be in your best interest to avoid the seafood soup, pretty sure they poured canned tomato soup over a bowl of the same disappointing seafood mixed seafood in the ceviche. Last, but certainly not least, was the entire whole hogfish. The menu had described the "chef specialty" as a delicacy served with a "variety of sauces"... which included lime and mayonnaise... read no further, those were it's only "special sauces". The hogfish was delicious and the only redeeming factor of our lackluster dine. Perhaps we just caught a bad server on a bad night.
El lugar es muy bonito, vale la pena ir al atardecer y ver la puesta del sol.
La comida buena, sin ser espectacular.
El servicio de los meseros no corresponde a la categoría del lugar.
We LOVE Navios!!! We have been there several times over the years. It is our favorite place in Cancun...amazing food, amazing service, amazing setting!!! Adam made sure everything was perfect for us!!! Thank you, Adam!!! We HIGHLY recommend Navios!!!
We had a wonderful experience at Navios. It was our first night in Cancun, and the magical outdoor space along with great food, made for a perfect evening.
The food was amazing and the setting can’t be beat. I had a bottle of Mexican which was expertly recommended by our server and it was perfect with my grilled octopus.
We will come here any time we are in the area.
Tucked under a Palapa on the edge of the lagoon. A slight breeze sweeps across the table. Perfect. Our waiter (Miguel) takes our appetizer order and establishes the pace of the evening by not insisting that we also order our entrees.
The grilled fish Taco and the Navios Ceviche were excellent to the last bite, as we sipped our Prosecco and wished we had found this place earlier in our vacation. The entrees (Sea Bass al Pastor and Grouper Guijilla) were exceptional.
This delightful restaurant is a treat that should not be missed. Ask for Adam request seating under a Palapa and demand a fresh oyster shooter.
EXCELENTE RESTAURANTE, LA COMIDA DELICIOSA, EL SERVCIO MUY BUENO Y LA VISTA A LA LAGUNA ESPECTACULAR.
Beautiful location, great service, great food 💛
Outstanding gem of a restaurant on the lagoon in the south end of the hotel strip. Highly recommend.
Food was great, the place is very nice and great service!!
Dinner on the water, beautiful sunset, the most best tasting Fish Veracruz wow ! every trip to Cancun it is a staple for our family to at least eat there once a trip
Nice romantic restaurant that sits over the lagoon, and you get a great view of the sunset at dinner
Because we were staying at the nearby Westin, we received complimentary tamarind margaritas. They're brown and a bit unusual looking, but taste fantastic.
Apps and dinner selections were good, its healthier options focusing on seafood with vegetables. This is not a tex-Mex kind of place. Tuna tartare was tasty. Wife had the garlic mixed seafood and I had the octopus, both were nicely prepared.
The only downside was lack of A/C, even with the proximity to the ocean it was still toasty for my taste, of course it's August in Cancun so to be expected.
Navíos was beautiful! I felt so special on my birthday. Food was amazing along with the view. Will definitely visit again next time in Cancun.
Beautiful restaurant with attentive service. We had a lovely family dinner
Amazing restaurant, phenomenal food, and outstanding service. Would highly recommend.
We came to Navios for dinner to celebrate the first night of our Bachelorette weekend in Cancun and what a way to start off the trip. We walked in and the ambiance was incredible to start with. We were given a table in one of the huts in a private area towards the back of the restaurant, just as requested. Our server Alex delivered thee best service I’ve had in quite some time at a restaurant. Very attentive, answered all 1000 of our questions about the menu. I chose the grilled octopus and it was soooo delicious. Flavorful and the meat was super tender and juicy. All 7 ladies seemed to enjoy their meal! Alex Gave us recommendations and even gave us a free drink! Navíos is more than dinner, it’s an experience.
Not too bad, the service was acceptable but not great, the food just fine and be careful because they charge the 15% tip without your authorization.
We ate at all the top restaurants in Cancun this past week. We are big foodies. Overall this was our favorite spot! We are there twice! Ask for a table in one of the little huts about 30 minutes before sunrise. You’ll thank me later.
Fabulous, romantic dining. Fresh modern take on Mexican ceviches and seafood. Our favorite spot to watch the sunset in Cancun. Dinner at Navio’s is a treat we look forward to ever time we are here!
Amazing find beautiful settings amazing food. Whst a romantic little spot with live music on a Thursday
Fabulous dining experience that we thoroughly enjoyed! I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Very romantic place
Great for couples, specifically to watch the sunsets
The ambiance was excellent. Food was good. One of the higher end restaurants in Cancun. ITs Mexican fusion, so if you want authentic mexican go to one of the local eateries.
Excelente lugar y comida extraordinaria
I selected the 10 pm reservation slot. Upon arrival at the restaurant, the host told me they closed at 10 pm. This may be an error in their system, but why would I be allowed to select this dining time if the restaurant was closing? Fortunately, they did let us eat but we felt rushed nonetheless because they were closing.
This place was absolutely lovely. We were staying at the Westin Resort and Spa and took a short cab ride to this restaurant. It sits on and above the water and has beautiful lighting and the ambiance is romantic and unique. The wait staff was attentive, smart, and knowledgeable. The food was fantastic. We started with the peccadillos (fish taco appetizer) and it was AMAZING! We ordered garlic seafood and the grouper dish and really enjoyed the food. Margaritas were great also. I highly recommend this place for the food and for the experience.
Fresh fish Fantastic sunset great service and excellent drinks--this place is a must visit in Cancun. I had the seabass and my wife the Veracruz grouper--both were excellent--service from Alejandro was excellent and the views--oh my --the view of sunset was spectacular. Must visit if you wnat fresh seaafood and a great view
A couple at our hotel recommended and we are glad they did. Great ambiance....good food ....good service. That’s all we could have asked for!
Excelente lugar, muy bonita ambientación con la Laguna como fondo. Alimentos de calidad y buen servicio de meseros. Lo recomiendo absolutamente para celebrar ocasiones especiales.
