Food and service were so good. Can’t wait to come here once the apocalypse is over!
In the meantime, I heard I can get their pasta for takeout! That will do!
The service outstanding Niko was exceptional made great recommendations. Was attentive without being intrusive. The food was delicious started with oysters, shrimp and the caviar pana cotta which was Devine.
Everyone’s entree was spectacular the Lasagna, Snapper Milanese and the Turbot in brown butter.
Finally dessert the blood orange tart beautiful and the cannolis fresh crisp shell just perfect.
Great meal from top to Bottom! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and the food was fantastic.
Seated once we arrived. Service was impeccable. Table was always clean. Drinks came out fast. Food was fresh and tasted amazing.
Our wait staff and her colleagues were terrific
The meal as always was wonderful.. best restaurant in the Grove!
Tables are on the small side. Excellent service. Nice wine list. Will return to try out more dishes.
We originally had reservations at 9, arrived at 815pm and grabbed seats at the bar. Ended up having dinner at the bar. Portions are great. Service was good once we finally got our drinks (to their defense, it was slammed). Definitely will go back. Highly recommend the Snapper!!!!
This was my second time at Nave, and I can say I was a little disappointed. The first time we went for dinner on a weekday and had a great experience. This time, on a busy Saturday nite, the service was a bit slow with drink orders, and the server's excuse of a "Busy Bar" is never a good one. That said, he was also a very nice person, with good knowledge of the menu. One particular issue with me was that the main dishes were brought a different times (for a party of five), and actually my ravioli was cold when delivered. I am willing to give them another try, but with many options opening up in the Grove and South Miami they must do better.
The food was creative and extremely tasty. We started with Nave's version of ceviche, which was a great mix of fresh seafood, including lobster in a wonderful sauce and the burrata that was stunning over grilled eggplant. Our main courses were all very good. The Lamb Lasagna a joy to your taste buds as well as the Scallops La Plancha, the Snapper Milanese---enough to share and fresh and moist fish and the spaghetti as all their pastas are made homemade at the restaurant. Dessert was yummy too. The service was brilliant, experienced and an acute understanding of the menu. The place gets packed by 8:30 PM, and so the service was not as attentive as the beginning of our reservation, yet I feel he checked in often to ensure we were OK. The only complaint I have is the Valet Parking Service is inept and left my car running out front, jutting out on the road a bit for 90 minutes. My husband happened to notice my car didn't move and tried locking it from his key fob. It wouldn't lock and when we discovered they had never moved my car more than a few feet after we dropped off at 7:40 PM, and kept it running. I understand for maybe 10-15 minutes as they were busy---yet 90 minutes was dangerous to my car, used up my gas and where they left it it could have been stolen or worse dented as it was sticking out in traffic. I will not ever valet park there again and warn others not to as well.
We have traveled to Nave several times since first it opened and we have never been disappointed. My snapper Milanese was outstanding and my wife’s pasta dish was as well. Our waiter Allen could not have provided better more attentive service!!
We have been here several times. Always excellent. We love the Tuesday night salad, oysters options, and the homemade pastas. Pizza was special also. Manager and staff excellent. we will be back
The food was pretty good but extremely expensive for what it was. we did not feel like it was really anything out of the ordinary though it was tasty . They made a big deal about the fact that they create their own breadsticks which were fine and very crunchy but nothing particularly interesting. My biggest complaint was the server who seemed not to care whether we were there or not and then there was a two dollar charge on our bill, for “water.” We said we did not order bottled water and they said that’s a charge they put on because they have a special filter on their water dispenser. My feeling is if they want to filter their water they should filter their water and not pass on a two dollar Charge on top of the very expensive food prices. We dine out at least several times a week and this will not be on the top of my list though it’s been written up in the Miami Herald and all the food publications for being very good.
Excellent food. Great service. Groovy ambience.
Waiter cannot hear us when ordering.
Best raw bar in coral gables! Fresh fresh
5 stars across the board. Fantastic raw bar selection and amazing pastas. The crab toast is one of the best dishes I’ve had in many years!
Loved this restaurant !!!
I've lived in the Grove for 15 years and just couldn't find a restaurant that I loved the food and was beautiful and inviting. The food is excellent and the service fantastic. I took my family for my 71st birthday and was very impressed. It was the third time I ate there.
Service was so lovely. Food and dessert were good and had a new twist on the usuals.
Amazing. Great service. Food was fresh.
We had the prix fixe sampling menu and found it very good. The wine we paired with it which was an Oregon Pinot Gris was a great choice. Loved the decor, excellent service.
They charge for water.
They charge for two extra anchovies on a Caesar salad.
Tables outside are very dirty. They clean them with a wet used cloth.
The best restaurant in Florida!
Great oysters, salda and tuna! Friendly service. Good local restaurant
Brunch was amazing! One of a kind in the grove!
It was so noisy inside. We sat outdoor. It was pleasant sine weather was accommodating. Food were great. our server, a Russian lady, I forgot her exact name but something like Alona, who was very friendly and know about the foods, and charming. I will go back if the weather is nice.
Loved it! Food was delicious, good service.
My new FAV Coconut Grove Restaurant! Highly Recommended!
Sitting outside was very pleasant, but a bit loud.
Dinners were fabulous - snapper milanese, lasagne and chicken livers & fusilli. The chicken liver dish was a little rich, but very tasty
Sunday brunch consisting of stone crabs, oysters, prawns, and tuna. Closed it out with the ravioli and Spaghetti with truffles. Amazing!
Excellent service, food and ambiance. For those foodies who enjoy an eclectic menu do not miss this new spot in Coconut Groove.
will go again soon
Delicious food and a beautiful atmosphere. A true Coconut Grove Jewel
I'm glad we tried Nave and we hope to return. The evening started off with us being seated at a table that had a leaking(condensation) pipe overhead. After a short wait we were accommodated with a new table and were grateful, given the full house. Starters were simple in flavor but nothing remarkable (crab toast, big eye tuna). Entrees were stellar in presentation, portion size, and flavor impact (bucatini w/ clam, scallop). The scallop dish was one of the best I've ever had. Service was good. table breadsticks were a little awkward, kindof dry.
It was birthday as stated on the reservation but it was not acknowledged I also did not get points
It's a shame when good food and good service comes at the price of a noise level that renders conversation impossible. Even the wait staff were leaning in close and raising their voices just to take our order.
Great food great service
The food and service were amazing. The Burratta appetizer and Tuesday salad were spectacular. Also, the snapper milanese was fresh and lightly breaded and could easily be shared by two people. The restaurant's contemporary design adds to the overall great experience.
Setting was great. Food was just OK. Would go back but not anytime soon
My new fav!!!! Highly recommended!
