I hate doing reviews BUT…. I came to Native Harlem for the very first time 6/12 reservations was for 8:30. Me and guest got seated and waited for over 30mins! We didn’t receive an hello i am your waitress, not a glass of water … THERE WASNT EVEN A GLASS ON THE TABLE. We asked the host who will be our waiter, she will be with you in a minute now we are waiting 45mins. So i decided to ask another person who is a waiter; she turnt and pointed to the person and didn’t even want to give her name… THIS WAITRESS WATCHED US BE SEATED, SAW US WAITING PROCEEDED TO ASSIST ANOTHER TABLE, CAME RIGHT NEAR US TO ANTHER GUEST… MIND YOU RIGHT ACROSS FROM US , ME AND MY GUEST STILL DIDNT RECEIVE AN HELLO OR I WILL BE WITH YOU SOON CAN I GET A GLASS A WATER NOTHING. By the time she came to us we didn’t actually want to eat anymore nor get served by her… we still ordered just so she can say the wrong order twice and then came back to the table and said “ you guys asked for it to go” we looked confused and didn’t understand what was going LIKE DID SHE NOT WANT TO BE AT WORK. now we are leaving i get a happy birthday cake which took a whole 30mins to come we called out uber the uber left just because we was waiting for the happy birthday slice. By the time we’re leave we didn’t even receive a sorry or anything. You guys have to get your customer service up especially being in the middle of Harlem

An elegant and pleasant vibe. Festive and relaxed. The food was on point & The drinks were great. The music also added more depth to the environment.

My experience was awesome, I enjoyed myself had a great time with friends and family. The food was the bomb and the drink was tantalizing.

I was so excited to visit Native in Harlem and overall my experience wasn’t the worst and the food was 10/10. My first issue was finding how to get inside. Aside from a peeling paper taped to the glass of the magic johnson movie theater entrance that I eventually noticed, I would’ve continued to walk around lost on how to get inside. FYI it is located on the second floor of the magic Johnson movie theater. Next, I understand that they are trying to make use of the space but the whole allure of the restaurant was the main stage and entertainment, so when we were initially offered a table by the entrance, in front of the waiters nook where we couldn’t see anything we were disappointed and then when we asked for a better table we had to wait 30 more minutes after our reservation time which we were seated late for in the first place. Not all seating is created equal in terms of enjoying the vibe. We waited at the bar for a better table and the drinks were amazing, however it was a 90 degree day outside but it felt the same inside as well. It was so hot inside, as you look around patrons were all fanning themselves and sweating perfusely. Later in the night we noticed them setting up stand fans to help cool the place down. When were eventually seated our waitress was so kind and funny but after she took our order it was a while before we saw her again because we had an issue with our drinks getting mixed up. We had to wait what seemed like a really long time for our appetizers to come out or maybe it was because we were so hot. Our reservation was at 2145 and we didn’t get our appetizer until 2330. When we got the appetizers it was a another task to get someone’s attention to bring us plates so we could eat. After the appetizers the main course came out pretty quick and the food overall was so delicious and was worth the wait. The entertainment was great and the dj was also playing good music. They have a few issues to iron out but overall I would go back for the food!

Don't like how I have a reservation and STILL had to wait damn near 20/25mins. They kept telling me 5 mins..5 mins...2 mins. Once I threatened to leave then afew seconds later someone can and addressed us and another party to the seated area that we were to sit in. Food was good as well as ambiance. EXTREMELY too loud to talk across the table with the person/ppl your out with. Won't attend again just becuz of the wait timeline alone.

My overall experience for the first was wonderful!! The ambiance was beautiful. My waitress Brianna was very attentive. We got the oxtail and lambchop. I will be back
