   Had a wonderful experience at The National! My colleagues and I had such a fun time — the service was spot on, the atmosphere was vibrant, and the food was absolutely delicious (especially the pizza and wings!). A special thank you to Viviana, the event coordinator, who was incredibly helpful and made sure every detail was taken care of. Highly recommend The National for team-building events or group outings — it was a hit all around!

   Sat at the bar. Not a lot of people in the restaurant. Our server, who was also the bartender was top notch. She was busy- but handled the people in the bar are well. She asked questions to ensure we were able to customize the food we ordered. The noise level was loud. We were told it was quieter where we were versus the other bar. I might go back just due to the service we received.

   Absolutely loved it here. The balance between restaurant, arcade, bowling, and eventually a dance floor at the end of the night was top tier and so well managed. This is an excellent hang out spot on a Friday night. We celebrated my birthday there and they were so accommodating and let us bring our own balloons and cake. Will definitely be coming back here again!

   Good was good, server wasn't great. Would've spent more with a group of 6 but was left without service for 30 mins

   The food was really good! The music a bit too loud but a fantastic dj. We moved over to bowl and that was a blast. Was a lot of fun!

   We are a family of four and came in for a late lunch. It was surprisingly quiet with only one other table occupied in the dining room. This might be because it was March Break. We couldn’t see the bowling or arcade action from the dining room. In any case, we enjoyed the food and the service was attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the tuna poke, national burger, dry ribs and fries. Note it is happy hour from 2-5pm so a few items are half price which is great. Our kids played in the arcade while we sat in the bowling area which is more fun and casual which some large couches set up by TVs. We felt it would have been better to sit in that area for our meal - now we know for next time! Bowling is $120/hour which is really expensive compared to other bowling alleys so we opted out. They do offer half price bowling on weekends for brunch so that’s something we might consider for next time! All in all, we enjoyed the visit and would recommend especially if you can go during one of their happy hours or half price bowling times.

   Honestly I really have nothing bad to say about this place. The ambiance in the restaurant part is very elegant and chic. It’s great if you want to have an intimate date but there was also a larger group as-well. On the other side is the bowling alley with an arcade and bar area which was a lot busier but also looked like a ton of fun. The service I have to say was next level. I would put it up there with some of the best restaurants in the city. The food was also great! I had the roasted chicken and my buddy had the burger and said it was very good. The portions were very large and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody!

   First time and last time I’m going here. Had the worst experience on my birthday! First mistake was that one of my friends wasn’t allowed to bring their kids inside, I had to deal with the manager to get an approval so my friends couldn’t go back home full of disappointment. The manager allowed it at the end but kids couldn’t play bowling, just eat which was even worst feeling for me as a host. On the website, not even on Open Table mentions anything about children not being allowed or saying that only people 19+ can have access. No one even told me about it when the reservation got confirmed. Why there’s no communication about this anywhere? This is so embarrassing! Second mistake was that my reservation was booked for two hours and was told that the price I paid for two lanes covered those hours. Then suddenly whoever was in charge decided out of the blue to decreased it to one hour without me being notified at all and said that I wasn’t allowed to extend it since there was other people coming after me… technically my reservation of two hours wasn’t honoured and the price wasn’t reduce accordingly, making it the most expensive experience ever!!! Third mistake was that after each of us paid our drinks and food, the 20% gratuities were added on each bill automatically and without the option to either reduce it or skip it! And again, no one ever told me about this during reservations, either the website or Open Table says about gratuities being included automatically… Other restaurants says it beforehand if the party is over 6 persons, but The National never said that anywhere, not even being communicated in person at all… I will not recommend this place to anyone at all! This place is very disorganized, they don’t have a phone to answer calls like any other place. You only can communicate via text or email which is very unprofessional! If is because their employees are lazy to answer phone calls, then this place needs to reconsider customer service…
