NATHANIELS RESTAURANT AT CRAIGSANQUHAR ESTATE.
EXPERIENCE ALL OF SCOTLAND’S CULINARY DELIGHTS THROUGH FRESH, SEASONAL, AND ETHICALLY SOURCED INGREDIENTS COUPLED WITH A CASUAL YET REFINED ATMOSPHERE. CRAIGSANQUHAR ESTATE IS JUST 6 MILES FROM THE HISTORIC TOWN OF ST. ANDREWS. SET AMONG 36 ACRES OF WOODLANDS AND GARDENS, NESTLED IN THE ROLLING HILLS OF FIFE.

We use produce from our own walled garden as well as the neighboring farms and Estates. Our meat and protein are carefully selected from local artisan suppliers, allowing our menus to feature the finest of Scottish ingredients. We feature wines from around the globe to complement our seasonal fare, while the bar offers local beer on tap and an excellent range of Scottish whisky and gin.
Our restaurant and bar face the South lawn and gardens providing sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. The large wood burning stove and open fireplaces provide a warm atmosphere for those cooler, rainy days.

The food and service were outstanding. It is quite remote so it is a little off the beaten track. However well worth the journey when you get there.

We throughly enjoyed our lunch, atmosphere was quiet as we were the only couple there. Our hostess was charming and we definitely will be back. We want to try the Sunday Brunch.

Excellent food and Ambience A special thanks to the lady (Sorry I didn’t ask for her name) who was serving us food and also to Carlos who was outstanding We still won’t forget the banana Foster he made for us while we were waiting for our desert Overall it was a magical experience for us We will definetly come back again From, Bala and Vidhya

Wonderful setting, warmly welcomed and looked after exceptionally well. Food was delicious and such good value. We immediately recommended this restaurant to our friends. It was a real treat.

The whole occasion was thoroughly enjoyable. Best of all was the friendly, very efficient and unhurried service which made us feel completely relaxed. Food, ambience and peacefulness were excellent.

My wife and I had dinner at Nathanials on the 6th of August and we had an absolute superb evening. Adam took care of us and was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and the property. The meal was delicious and excellently prepared. What a great discovery and it will now be a regular on our ‘Go To’ list. David Keith
