   Nasrin’s Kitchen is my go to for bad days and pre Carnegie Hall. the food is delicious and authentic. it’s got a real familyvibe. it’s probably best to go there when you need a tasty treat of meal, because it’s wrong to bring leftovers to Carnegie Hall but it’s equally wrong to leave even a few grains of Nasrin’s rice on the plate.

   Love this place- had to eat and run quickly to get to a show nearby and our waiter was so helpful. The food was also delicious! We will be back.

   This was a unique Persian experience of family recipes that are spectacular enough for sophisticated New Yorkers. Grandmother’s chicken stewed in pomegranate with a side of strained yogurt was fantastic. The eggplant appetizer with crispy onions and garlic topped with seeds and mint oil was out of this world. There are fresh flowers on every table and the staff is attentive and gives very personal service. Nearby to Carnegie Hall it is a better value than some of the alternatives. Definitely recommend.

   Food was good, not great. Some of the other Persian restaurants in NYC provide somewhat better food. Excellent service and very nice ambience and people.

    Flavoring needs calibrating — like one of our dishes was an avalanche of dill. And it had sections that were overlooked. And the “signature”dish was overrich and overcooked. A good base that needs work.
