Service was poor, music was good!Food was average with limited options!
Great spot with great atmosphere and such nice staff. The spoon fries were to die for!!
We went twice in a week on the way to FL and back. Great food and service and just off Broadway so busy but not overly crowded. Great live music! Recommend the chicken fried chicken and fried pickles!
Place is advertised as closing at 2am. We made a reservation for 10:30pm via Open Table. We called several times between 5pm and 10:30pm and nobody answered the phone. We got to the NashHouse at 10:36pm and the place was closing. Kitchen was closed. We weren’t even asked if we wanted to have a drink; just told at the door that it was closed as a server was leaving. Hostess or manager - not sure who she was - greeted us at the door to say it was closed. When we asked for a suggestions as to where to go for a late dinner, they had zero!!!
I think our waiter was new this morning so we may go back because we liked the ambiance and the food was pretty good as well but for today the service all around was poor. We had reservations, waited 45 minutes for food (we weren’t in a hurry so it didn’t bother us too much), the grand mimosa was great. When we got our food (by a different waiter) we had no silverware or napkins. We asked them to bring us some and we waited 5-6 minutes for silverware, ketchup and syrup for pancakes because they were not brought out with food, we were never asked if we needed more drinks or water. Like I said, I’m just going to chalk it up to our waiter was new and trying to figure things out still but doesn’t make up for the other areas. Would we try it again, most likely.
Great atmosphere, service and food were great.
They ran out of silverware…
The hostesses were exceptionally rude.
The service was slow.
The food however, once it arrived and once we finally got silverware, after a very VERY long wait for all of it, was very good.
Never once did a manager come and apologize to anyone for the terrible experience that it seemed many people including us were having.
Service was terrible. They were nice about it and tried to make it right but just ruined the whole experience. Food was solid but not great. Nearly 50% of the items (food and drink) came with something incorrect.
Pretty good place. A bit loud but not too bad. Food is ok, nothing special, but a really nice atmosphere. The nest part is the servers. They are really amazing and attentive. Even though they fumbled a few things, they were super sweet so it didn’t make much difference.
Overall, the food was great and there was live music playing. Service was extremely slow. We had to ask for silverware and was brought one napkin with three forks on it. Staff was kind. Seemed disorganized or low staff.
First time here -- went for Sunday brunch. Portions are fairly small but very flavorful. Service is very friendly and the atmosphere is casual and lively. Bar area was attractive and bright -- seemed fully stocked.
Literally waited an hour for coffee and the waitress didn’t accommodate for any of the inconveniences. They were also out of eggs Benedict which was literally half their menu? For brunch on a Sunday? Get it together....
HORRIBLE experience from when we walked in the door all the way to the validation of the valet ticket. Will not dine again. VERY POOR MANAGEMENT.
Our server was
We all loved our breakfast sandwiches and it was the perfect family place for us!
Small portion for the Porky Mac. But overall had a great time! Very friendly staff, and loved hearing multiple acts of live music.
Great music with good food!
Amazing food and service.
We visited for the long weekend. The Hampton Social was amazing! The atmosphere, service and food were excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant for brunch!
Definitely not southern cooking. Country fried steak was tough and mashed potatoes were stiff and not creamy at all. Wait staff was slow and rude. Would not recommend. Too many other restaurants in downtown that are far superior
Our waitress was wonderful, the live music was lots of fun and the food was great!
I LOVE NashHouse, the food is always great... until this visit. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Consistency is key to long term restaurant success. If I had been a first time guest, I would never be back. Because I’ve been there a dozen times and know what you’re capable of, I can look past one bad experience. But if it’s the same next time, I’ll definitely stop coming and stop recommending (which I do all the time)
Server seemed like he didn’t care about serving us. They’re using digital menus yet our table didn’t have the QR code and he never bothered to make sure we had access. Slow service. Nash Benedict was a super small portion. They also had a DJ playing incredibly loud music for 11am on a Sunday. One perk was the bacon queso.
Horrible service- had to ask multiple servers, hostesses and managers to get simple things like silverware and water Re-fills. Took forever to get drinks
The appetizer was served to us cold. Was supposed to be sweet potato skins. One entree was served with the wrong side, and the meal took over 30 minutes to get to the table. Service was average, and with the mistakes referenced above, no manager ever came to the table. Will not go back.
They were extremely short staffed and the food took over an hour to come out. When it finally came out it was cold. I think a lot of restaurants are struggling to bounce back to full capacity but a heads up before starting a meal would’ve been nice. I’m not the type to complain, especially yesterday when every table was complaining so we didn’t say anything but I wouldn’t want to repeat this experience.
Food was unfortunately cold when we got it, but the service was great! They were very apologetic because they were slammed! I would definitely go back though!
Great atmosphere and amazing entertainment. Food was pretty good and service wasn’t bad (wasn’t great but the atmosphere made up for it). We would definitely go back!!
Fun place, great atmosphere but unfortunately for our trip they were extremely understaffed. Our Server was friendly and fun, but was simply over worked. We could see the food getting backed up in the window, there just wasn't enough staff. It took a good 15 minutes for our Beers to arrive, and at least an hour for our food to come out. However since it had sat under the heat lamps for so long, it was pretty gross. I ordered a Chicken Fried Steak over Mashed Potatoes, The Mashed were Cold & Hard and the Steak was lukewarm with the Gravy essentially hardened from sitting under the lamps for so long, we were so hungry and didn't want to wait anymore that we just ate it, told the waitress how bad it was but still left her a good tip and got the hell out of there. The next day I went to another restaurant in a different part of town and had a real Chicken Fried Steak.
Terrible experience. Where do I even begin?
- Took 15 minutes for us to get a server.
- Food was terrible. Greasy and over cooked. Gave us stomach aches all night.
- The app and one meal was brought at same time. - yes the server completely forgot to put in an order.
- Was assured a booth and got a table.
- They were sold out of their signature apps and a portion of their menu wasn't available.
- The performers were bad, bad, bad - to the point no one was clapping (I felt bad).
Manager came over to apologize. He took off the one meal we didn't get. We eventually got it, but not before the sever asked us if we wanted our check. Umm - no, we want the dinner we ordered first.
Much better options in Nashville, DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Our breakfast took us 2 hours to get. Our server was awful, and they overcharged us for things we never asked for.
Service was slow. Food was mediocre. Prices were high.
It was the best birthday brunch. The staff was amazing and the food was so good!!!!!
I loved it! The food was good, cooked exactly the way I ordered it. Great service. I would definitely recommend it, and I’m sure I’ll be back!
Mothers Day brunch. Had reservations and was sat right away. Ordered drinks & food. Our meals took a super long time to arrive. Ordered a dessert which also too a super long time to arrive. We received the dessert free due to the wait.
Food had mixed reviews from the group (4)
Parking was easy since you can valet and receive 2 hrs free.
Great spot in Downtown Nashville with a fantastic menu offering for Sunday Brunch. Staff very friendly and certainly made our experience amazing. Looking forward to our next visit!
Great Lunch! Service was outstanding and food delicious!
Good food, awesome waitress. Good scenery. Glad to visit this space
