Love the openness, stylish, modern yet comfy. Nice to be able to plus in your devices. Wines were tasty.
Great, open space. Delicious food. Huge wine list. And the best warm cookies for dessert.
Beautiful, pristine, friendly without being intrusive, and absolutely delicious! What a treat to enjoy such beautiful and flavor-packed preparations! Additionally, the sense of room... plenty of room to enjoy everything, without feeling crowded by too many tables. The light streaming into the room just added to the overall sense of well being and pleasure... we'll be back!
Hostess was less than welcoming - felt like we were an imposition not guests. Otherwise it is a solid hotel restaurant.
Went for Saturday brunch, had the best time! The food was amazing, we loved a burger, two different "toasts" (avocado and artichoke, both were excellent), chicken sausage, the bagels were delicious, bacon was yummy, a mimosa, a tequila bloody mary was amazing.... the service was perfect. I would absolutely tell a friend to go here, we made a great choice. Look forward to going back. (Only glitch was that we parked on the street, and had trouble making the meter take our credit card so we got a parking ticket. Bummer.)
Adjecent to a swanky Cherry Creek hotel, Narrative is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots. Great tasting and unique menu, fun bar scene and wonderful sommelier. Great for a date night or to have drinks with girlfriends. You can also meet some interesting out of towners.
Atmosphere is fun but the food was mediocre, not bad, just not great. Everything seemed under seasoned. Drinks were really good!
This was my first time at Narrative. Loved the food. Service was great. Will definitely return. Only things that kept this from being a 5-star review in my opinion were that my drink was not at all what I had asked for (even my receipt showed I had ordered correctly) and for all the GF options they had (this is why I picked Narrative), they didn’t have any GF desserts. Otherwise, they were great.
We had a great experience. The food and service was wonderful. We were seated at chefs table which made for a fun birthday celebration
The presentation of the dishes was artful and the flavors exceeded expectations. Brent's team saw to our every need. Our only objection was to the level of noise; we could not easily converse.
One of the best salads I’ve ever tasted, and just right to share for full lunch. The service was good but it took a long time to place and receive our food.
Food is always delicious, fresh and they serve ample portions. Great for both lunch and dinner, but dinnertime the noose level is definitely louder.
Service was very disappointing . We got better service at the bar during Sunday happy hour as opposed to dining at a table. Not sure if the 48 hr short ribs were really short ribs. It looked like slices of roast beef. Short ribs should melt in your mouth . And then we had to beg for our check . I suggest passing on this dining experience. Subpar to say the least .
Loved the atmosphere and the food was fantastic. The brussel sprouts are ridiculously delicious!
It's worth a visit to this new CC area restaurant. On the good side, the food is high quality and dishes are well-sized. One the less-than-good side, I've been there twice and noticed that the staff have a bit of an attitude that just feels a bit 'off'. Regardless, it's a decent new place to try.
Great ambiance and service
Inconsistent portion size from previous dining experience
Brussels sprouts way too salty
Great place for lunch (or dinner!). Quiet enough for a business meeting, yet lively enough to be fun and interesting! Great food and service!
Yummy yummy food!!
Fabulous meal! Once we found the restaurant (didn't realize it was in the lobby of the new Jaquard hotel in Cherry Creek) we had the most fabulous Brussels sprouts side dish (that we shared.) The sprouts were beautifully sauteed with a bit of char and they were tangy and sweet and just a wee bit spicy! YUM!! the caesar salad was also wonderful and the gnocchi mac and cheese with peas, mushrooms, and truffle sauce...OMG!!! :)
Service was great too.
We'll be back for sure!!
So nice to have a beautiful restaurant option in Cherry Creek where you can get a proper breakfast early in the morning for a business meeting.
The experience was great. The food was exceptional and the service was very professional! We had the baby gem Caesar Salad with Salmon and the Cauliflower Steak. Both were prepared to perfection and we enjoyed our whole experience from start to finish. Thank you for a great meal!
Fun atmosphere. Chic and casual. Nice menu.
Narrative is a great addition to Cherry Creek. Great food, attentive service, fair price. This was our first meal, but we've done happy hour a few times. The place is still buzzingly new so reservations are recommended.
Our service was mediocre at best and very few table touches or refilling of beverages. It was clear our server does not enjoy her job and took no pride in her level of service. The food was just ok. Your burger needs some refinement and has a weird array of flavors including buffalo sauce flavored crispy onions that did not pair well with this burger. I was happy that the burger came with great fries and a salad. The chicken avocado salad was very good as well as the Poke.
Salmon came out under cooked by the time a server came over my guest was almost finished with his dinner by the time they re-cooked it!
Enjoy it for breakfast.
Birthday brunch with my mom and sister was delightful. Excellent service, the meal was amazing. We will definitely be back
Always a great experience!
No music & no vibe. Lighting needs to be addressed. New restaurant that needs to be more of a “scene” instead of “safe”
Great food; great service. The bar area is loud but the back dining space was fantastic. Would go back again and would highly recommend.
There was a raucous party of a dozen or more people at the bar, and the host wanted to seat us at the closest possible table to them, because I had requested a round table and that was where it was. BUT, the noise level would have made our entire evening untenable. I insisted on another table, which was accommodated.
The kitchen ran out of the announced special (scallops) before our order for three servings was placed. This was Sat., March 9.
The caesar salad was salty; no bread was served until requested.
Service is typically hit or miss and food is normally great. This was a total hit and miss visit, but will give it another shot.
Dinner with a table of four. Our server wasn't very timely. I got the brick chicken and it wasn't very appealingly plated; just nestled in way more cannelini beans than needed. Beautiful place, pleasant hostess, but I won't go return.
Food and service was good. The chicken dish was a little weird...I think trying to hard with this. Cocktails are creative and not too sweet. Service was excellent.
Very noisy, hard to have a conversation. $17 burger was marginal
Nice spot for a lunch with friends or happy hour. Conveniently located inside the boutique hotel. Valet parking is available but make sure you talk to the “drivers” as they seem not to care when they pull a luxury car. Pleasant interior design; food menu is okay, nothing special. Salads are generous portions. Little overpriced though. Restrooms are located on a second floor of the hotel. Similar to the Departure and/or Modern Italian close by.
Amazing food and exemplary service.
We’ve been here 3xs since their opening. The food has been consistently good, service hasn’t always kept pace with the food.
Great happy hour with 1/2 price wines by the glass: even many premium blends.
Food was so-so. Coffee refills were hard to come by. Restroom was an astonishingly long way away.
Great spot, a little loud but besides that everything was amazing. Get the gnocchi, best I've ever had.
