Great meal with friends at Napolese. Always a delightful place to dine!
Our server Greg was tremendous. Great personality and even better service. Food was great as well!!
I love this place but we just
A bit of a disappointment considering the quality of other restaurants in the Hoover owned group. The server was rather indifferent, and the service was slow. It took over an hour to be served. The brussels sprout salad was very good but the pizza was on a limp doughy crust. The noise level is pretty high , so don’t plan on having much of a discussion.
Consistently good quality, tasty food. Not your run of the mill pizza place. Bartender tonight was excellent!
Another wonderful pizza and salad
The perfect setting to enjoy a delicious and leisurely dinner w/friends. Great food, drinks and service in a cozy & quiet dining room. Can’t wait to go back!
I had a salad and it was delicious! I will definitely return! Staff is excellent and atmosphere is so relaxed and comfortable.
Go to Napolese frequently. It is our favorite place to go for pizza. Our pizza and salad was, as always, delicious. Love the ambience in the wine bar.
Adam is fabulous! Great night. Excellent food. Thanks for the great service and excellent recommendations, Adam!
Some of the best pizza I've ever had. Meatballs were great also.
Always a great experience. Great winter menu!!
Great pizza, salads and cocktails in a really cool and swanky atmosphere.
I made reservations before a show with my sister and teenage niece, so we needed to stay on schedule. When we arrived (15 min early), the host informed us that our reservation wouldn't work because it only applies to groups where all parties are 21+. I have since confirmed on the reservation website that this was not noted as a limitation, so plan accordingly. We waited in line for a table on the family side to open up. After standing there for 15 minutes after our reservation time, I asked the server in the section if the bar seats in the family section were open seating. The answer was yes! Why wasn't this presented as an option initially when our reservation was cancelled? Finally seated, I shared our time constraint with the server. I'm not certain if he helped make it happen or the kitchen is always that fast, but the food came super fast. He didn't really check back after it arrived, however. My niece was a little disappointed in her pizza; thought the center portion was soggy. Our salads were good. I caught the servers' attention and asked for the bill; we made it to the show ok.
Before we moved to Indy, this was our first dining experience. It didn't disappoint four months later and now that we live here. Because my partner has celiac disease, it's always a trying experience to find great eats. I can't recommend the restaurant enough.
Great meal and service!
Always enjoyable. The best pizza in the Indianapolis area.
We love Napolese, but please do something about the booths in the back. They sit so low my chin is almost on the top of the table and when you lean back you are very far from the table and the person across from you. Lots of pillows to sit on and lean on would be a great fix!!
Great food and great service. Our favorite pizza in Indy!
Love this place. Great food. Local ingredients. Knowledgeable staff. Good wine options. Love the comfy vibe.
Food was amazing! Definitely enjoyed the drinks and the array of pizzas we ordered. However, We had to keep asking our waiter for drinks and had to keep grabbing his attention. Felt like he was serving everyone else around us before our table even though we had a reservation, the fact that we were sat before the other tables around us, and didn’t have that large of a group. Honestly the service really ruined the experience for us. Thought this would have been one of the nicer locations and would have staff that were friendly. The keystone Napolese is probably the best one!
After some confusion as to where to check in for our reservations in the busy over-crowded dining room, we were seated in the bar area. Bar area is lovely and the food and service were great!
It felt like the server was almost annoyed we were there but ultimately did get our order correct. The food was ok but not even in a top 10 favorite pizza list. Ambiance was beautiful, wine was lovely, price was expected but the food and service could have been better for all the pomp and circumstance.
Very nice artisan pizza. Food and drinks were excellent. A bit high in price, but an overall nice place with a good service staff.
We celebrated my birthday with my wife and loved the ambiance. Cocktails, appetizer and craft Pizzas were excellent. We are looking forward to visiting them in the near future!
I’ll start by saying I am a HUUUGE fan of all the MH restaurants and food at Napolese is consistently good. Sadly, the service is not so consistent & the “A team” was not working tonight. I made the reservation for dinner tonight (Tuesday) earlier today & the ONLY slot available for a table for 2 was at 5pm, so I booked that. My friend arrived before I did & already had a glass of wine by the time I got there at 5:05. I waited 20 minutes to order a drink, then walked up to the bar. Apparently the bartender was the only server (there was one other table, a party of 5 or 6, and one guy alone at the bar, the entire time we were there). A few other workers showed up, but no one actually helped the bartender. He did the best he could, said things like “thanks for being patient”, but seemed to be essentially working alone at the bar and waiting tables. We would have ordered a 2nd round of (not inexpensive) drinks, but didn’t bother since he didn’t have time to ask. At least the food was good.
Cozy, relaxing, ambient atmosphere. Food and drinks were great! Service impeccable.
The chopped salad is a must have! Great for a quiet get together with your girlfriends!
Service and food are always fantastic!
Best pizza in Indy!!!! Definitely will be back
Great food, great service, a bit noisy. Reasonable pricing. Been there several times, will definitely go again.
Our dinner was really good. The salads were especially "foodie" and were large. We waited a while for things to get started even though we had a reservation. Overall, we are likely to go back.
First time to Indianapolis and I was really interested in dining at local restaurants. After passing over many of the chains -- which Indy seems to have many -- my partner and I went to Napolese. Absolutely a charming restaurant. Great pizzas and served a gluten-free crust for my severe celiac partner. (We always need to be careful where we eat because of this issue. It was a truly cosmopolitan experience, on par with great destination restaurants found in LA or NYC, with great service and knowledge. Try the "Blaze On" with luscious short ribs, pickled jalapenos, swirled tomato jam instead of a red sauce, and leeks. Mild provolone dresses the pie deliciously. Sweet. Savory. Spicy. Crisped crust.
Ask for Amelia to seat you and sit over in the second room. Sink into one of the comfy couches or chairs -- with a perfectly chosen wine, and have Craig serve you with his Jimi Hendrix hair. (He recommended the pizza. I don't know if he played guitar but I kept wanting to ask him.)
Fantastic food...dog friendly outside (which was fantastic for Wilma!) and the staff is so kind!
We really enjoyed our visit to Napolese! We were in a bit of a hurry...en route to a concert and the staff at the restaurant got us beverages, food...and out in time! We were very appreciative for that. Enjoyable experience!
Good time. Sorbet was not good. Meal was very good.
This is a reliable place for a good meal made from very high quality ingredients. The BLT pizza would have benefited from a more generous portion of leeks.
Love this place - food is great and the service is it’s equal...super cozy seating.
Love the food at this place & tonight did not disappoint in that regard. However, we had the misfortune of being placed at one of the tables with the sofas for seating. They LOOK so comfy - but looks are deceiving! Trying to sit up high enough and get close enough to the table to eat without dumping food all over ourselves was a real challenge. Not even the right height to sit cross legged or lotus position. I’m sure it was intended to be a plush, luxurious experience, but it was quite the opposite. When I mentioned to our server, I think she thought I was joking.
Maybe I’m the first one not to “love” eating in a big, sunken sofa? Do yourself a favor & ask for a table with regular dining chairs and definitely order the bruschetta. Also, the caprese salad was nothing short of divine!
