Naples Flatbread & Wine Bar - Mercato Ratings and Reviews
This is NOT a wine bar. We were very disappointed when we got there and saw only a handful of wines on the wine list. We were looking forward to tasting some different wines and such. The wines that were on the list were pretty basic /cheap wines. Despite that initial disappointment, we did enjoy the food. It was very well prepared, had great flavors, lots of choices and overall delicious.
Loved it! Such a causal place that took us by surprise. We had salads calzones and of course flat breads, but grandpa has the lobster Mac and cheese!! And it was TO
DIE FOR!! Everything was great here, service was wonderful and the ambience was fabulous. Definitely will be back to try the boom boom tacos!!!
We had a wonderful meal and the manager was fantastic. It was a busy trivia night and even though we had a reservation, people weren’t gettin up. He stayed on top of things and made sure we were seated quickly and made sure we were always taken care of. I highly recommend it here. There are so many delicious options.
Usually a go to place for consistently great food, this busy post holiday weeknight disappointed me with its service. There didn’t seem to be enough wait staff that evening and we had to wait quite awhile at the door/hostess stand before getting valet parking ticket validated. Finally, open table reservation wasn’t acknowledged post dining without my writing Open Table
I ordered the California Flat Bread and my friend and I shared it. It was delicious. There was more than enough food for both of us with extra to take home. Good Caesar Salad as well. The Assistant Manager, Carly, was our server and she was WONDERFUL. We will come back.
I review 30+ restaurants/year and can't remember EVER rating one this LOW. We are foodies; we love eating out. Every aspect of eating dinner at the Naples Flatbread & Wine Bar tonight was horrible, except that the manager approached us at the very end and seemed concerned (and comp'd our wine). The dinner menu is VERY limited, VERY little variety. When we arrived, it was nearly empty (guess why?), yet our lasagne and burger took FOREVER to come out, and when they did, the burger did NOT come with the lettuce and tomato that we had specifically requested. The lasagne was horrible in every respect with terrible meatballs -- I just took a pill (H2 blocker) for the indigestion I still have. The Pinot Grigio and the ONLY Chianti were terrible. And when the waitress asked and we told her about the wine, she replied: "Well, you drank ALL of the Pinot so it couldn't have been THAT bad" -- in other words, "YOU'RE LYING about how bad it was"?!? Really? We've been here before for lunch, with a great waiter, and enjoyed ourselves -- but we'll never go again for dinner, and probably not for lunch either.
Went here with my family for my birthday while we were on vacation. Wanted something that would fit 10 of us, kid friendly, healthy options and close to where we were staying. Frozen yogurt place right next door which was fun for dessert following. The staff was very friendly and the food was great!
Naples Flatbread is fancy pizza! Fun for a quick bite before a show. Clifford White Wine was delicious and I am a wino. I had the flatbread with Ahituna and it was very nice along with a wonderful salad with cranberries and nuts. It was a little cool but the gas heaters were running and it made it quite pleasant. Service was quick and we had plenty of time to leisurely get to one event.
Water and soft drinks taste like sulfur. All white meat chicken "wings" were gristly. Chicken vegetable soup was tasteless. Pizza sauce was bland as was pepperoni. Sausage had good flavor. Pizza was beautiful but flopped on taste. All in all , WAY overpriced for product delivered.
