Naples Coastal Kitchen
Wonderful restaurant with exceptional service and food. We will be back!
The restaurant looks like it’s under construction with the tarps coveting the outdoor space
Overall bad experience in every aspect.
Server- inattentive and seemed annoyed
Drinks - came late and sucked.. I had the worst margarita in any place I have ever eaten in my life
Meal- equally sucked
The server actually asked us if we wanted to take anything home with us, we said no but she continued to scrape food off of the plates into a box and then clean/scrape the plates in front of us and leave them on the table.
Had to ask for our bill so we could leave
Super bad experience… I would not recommend this place.
And just an FYI… We went in in a very good mood looking to have a good experience… This is not the place you want to go if you’re in a good mood and expect a good meal
Good service and excellent food to celebrate my wife’s birthday
Would I recommend? Yes, I have. The noise level is out of control - way too loud. Server took her time taking our drink order then tried to tell us it was too late for them to qualify for Happy Hour.
The food is amazing. Their Shrimp & Grits is the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve had this all over - including Charleston, the epicenter of S&G).
Their specials are unique and tasty (last nights scallops in lemon beur blanc for example) and the regular menu doesn’t disappoint.
It can get a little noisy at times, but it’s worth it.
Food was very good. Will return. We had four people and everyone enjoyed their meal. Our server was attentive but gave us time to talk before placing our orders. All in all, a very enjoyable evening.
I went to Coastsl Kitchen for dinner twice in the same week and ordered the same dish. The first time, the salmon was FABULOUS and the second time not quite as good. Hector, the owner/chef wasn’t there the second night and I don’t know if that made a difference. Everything else that was ordered was great...calamari, clam chowder,
Fruitti de mer, orange cake dessert. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant and Hector!!!
As before, everything was excellent. We’ll be back.
We enjoyed our app and a drink at the bar. Nick, the bartender, was great. However, it was very warm in the restaurant so we decided to eat outside in the covered area. It was initially cooler but then got very warm. I think there was some problem that night so hopefully it got fixed. the food was very good and the menu was expansive for a small place. Service was very good too. We will definitely go again.
We had an excellent experience and would recommend everyone come to this restaurant.
Birthday - good seafood and great service
Haven’t been there for awhile so we decided to give it another try. Honestly, there are so many excellent restaurants around, and many are less expensive, so we would NOT go back. In the beginning this place was popular because it was inexpensive. It is expensive now. It looks and feels low end (a little like a diner) but charges more like one of the higher class top restaurants.
It lacks atmosphere. Furnishings are meager. Food was good but it was not great. Service was OK not anything special. We were never offered bread - even if we did not want it, it should have been asked. The bartender was nice but seemed too concerned with selling than offering true quality service. Wine pour was into one of the little glass bottles they use before they pour into your wine glass so you don’t get an extra drop. Very tacky.
So unfortunately because of all those reasons I would not recommend this restaurant.
excellent Grouper sandwich.
all the dishes on the menu appeared appetizing!
The menu has a nice variety of options, along with very interesting specials. The only thing missing from the menu was octopus, which would be a nice addition. I personally, had the crab cakes which were made with the claw and meat, excellent. My caesar, with anchovies option, was fresh with just the right amount of dressing. The waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. The manager greeted us mid-meal without intruding on our conversation. Great experience, overall.
We will be back! First time here but this place was highly recommended. We had an early dinner and sat outside with our dog. The staff was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. We started out sharing the beet salad and it was perfect with goat cheese and nuts. I had the Crab Cakes and my friend had the Feroe Island Salmon. Salmon was very fresh and the crab cakes were packed with lots of crab. We will be back!!
Wonderful all around, can't wait to try it again. We went on a weeknight off-season, probably didn't need a reservation. Sat outside because their patio has air-conditioning!!! What a great amenity. Now to the food - Grouper Piccata, Coconut Shrimp, Seafood Gumbo, and Fried Grouper were all perfectly cooked and outstanding. Coastal Casual feel with outstanding seafood choices. Loved it.
Love absolutely everything about NCK. From the manager, Cindy, to bartender Will, to Chef Hector and the great wait staff, they are all awesome! And the food is fantastic. We eat there about 2-3 times a month (this time it was twice in one week!) have brought many friends with us, and all have absolutely loved it too! We have tried many menu items as well as nightly specials, and have never been disappointed. The only reason I hesitate to sing their praises too loudly, is for fear they will become so busy, we wont be able to get in, especially during season 😊. In all seriousness, it truly is one of our very favorite places to dine!
My only complaint is that the tables are quite small for a party of 4 and they are very close together.
Family vacation getaway/sons 17month Birthday . Everyone was so sweet from the beginning. Our server was super friendly and the food was AMAZING. I got the shrimp tacos which hit the spot. My husband got the grouper nuggets that were out of this world. If we come back down here, we will definitely come back.
Most people would not expect to find Walleye as the featured fish on a Naples menu but Naples Coastal Kitchen does and it was delicious. My wife enjoyed Walleye fingers as an appetizer with a nice salad while I had a fried walleye filet as my entrée. Both were sweet and cooked to perfection. If not for the blistering heat outside these meals would make you think you were sitting outside one of the Great Lakes. Service was very good with a friendly staff and prompt attention to our needs. Ambiance is basic but we were there to enjoy good food not fancy décor. Give them a try.
Good service and the food was excellent. Will go ag again.
Food was enjoyed by all. Service always a pleasure and with a smile. The acoustics are not great for inside seating so I felt the noise level was higher than it should be. Other than that...no complaints whatsoever.
Food was the poorest seafood I’ve ever had and especially for the price. Do not eat here.
The food is excellent, service has always been friendly, efficient and prompt.I always sit outside in their enclosed patio. You may want to sit in the restaurant area if you want a better look, but I'm in my casual mode now and the patio is just fine.
Food has never disappointed me here, and the staff is always "chipper".
Great food, staff very helpful. (I do wonder why they have a large TV, though. Doesn't seem to be a TV kind of restaurant). Otherwise, very nice ambience.
Excellent meal. We were not rushed. Service was very good. Each of us enjoyed the food.
Consistently good. Iour group is so stuck on the tacos we haven’t tried much else. My husband does explore the menu is us pleased with everything he tried.
A bit pricy for its location-order was served wrong but did get corrected-not sure if I would return
Sat outside in the air conditioned tent.....quite comfortable. Would sit there again.
Server was pleasant, blackened grouper was snappy in a good way.
Beet salad was excellent along with the clam chowder and gumbo. Server was a little overbearing, but did accommodate our needs.
Food is good but not great. Just another ok seafood place.
We have wanted to, then received a gift card so we, and another couple went. The first ting that struck us was how shabby the place looks. There's ZERO in the way of an inviting ambiance. Note, I'm a true believer in "you can't eat ambiance" ... that said, this place really could use some. We have no complaints at all about the food. It was very good. Service, while friendly, was less than attentive. However, as I said above, the food was very good, though I do not believe it will be included on our list of restaurants that we frequent.
We had a reservation and were there for 20 minutes and never given water or attention from our waiter. We left and hope to return for a more positive experience.
We had a lovely evening. It was extremely comfortable outdoors in the cooled room. Each enjoyed his food selection and our service was outstanding. We’ll be back soon.
The service was very good and the food was fine. Nice little neighborhood restaurant. We will go back.
Must have been an "off" night for chef, kitchen staff and server. We've always have had a great experience;. This, however was bad enough to make us think twice about ever returning. Chef Hector was clearly not overseeing the kitchen and the manager ended up delivering our meals---because we finally asked where our food was---nearly an hour after ordering. It was a Friday night, but not at all crowded. Just an unfortunate experience.
Quality of food was very good and service was excellent. Just a little pricey for location.
