The food is consistently very good from breakfast through dinner. The service is cordial, speedy and efficient. The tables are spaced well and allow for easy conversation.
Great food great service
Service was EXCELLENT and off course the food was great.
Our server was terrible - he messed up our order and served wine in very dirty glasses. The food was mediocre at best and the place was EXTREMELY loud. We had to ask several times to have our water glasses refilled. Will not return.
Excellent service and location. Food was decent but nothing special. You will not be too shocked to leave here full but not amazed.
I have eaten here several times on business lunches. The service is fast and the salads, pizzas and pasta are all very good. I love the individual make you own pizza. This is not quite haute cuisine but the price and fast service reflect that. Lunch can be very busy and noisy - dinner more quiet the one time i have had dinner. Overall I recommend for a nice meal near Grand Central.
Would not return. Way to loud.
Went here for a quick lunch with a business associate. Was surprised how fast the service was. We were in, ordered, served and out in an hour. Perfect. And the food was good too.
In particular the hostess was amazing, and anticipated every need!
The food at Naples 45 is mediocre at best and way overpriced. You're paying for the location next to Grand Central.
I forgot how loud this place is! But still, it’s a good place for a quick lunch - central location, above average food, fast efficient service and reasonable price. And in warmer months, outdoor seating.
Good place to meet young people, and have a good meal. Selections were decent. Fast. Food good, esp pizza.
Took colleague for lunch and while noise level is very loud both food and service were excellent
Nice place - food was good! Expensive but not outrageous.
Have been meeting friends for lunch at Naples every month for many years. Always reliable and lively place with good salads and very good pizza. A fun place for sitting outside in the good weather. Also a good spot for breakfast meeting as centrally located attached to Grand Central Terminal.
We enjoyed our dinner very much. We ordered a large pizza, Greek Salad and a charcuterie platter as an appetizer. We also ordered the Montepulciano wine on the menu, which was very good. Our waiter was quite attentive and his recommendations were spot on. We would definitely go back to this restaurant.
Really enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. We had a group of 7 and everyone had a great time.
This is a solid place with very few objections. However, like last time I was here, the restaurant does not serve all guests at a table their meals at the same time. This is absurd and creates a lot of awkwardness. I was served my main course almost ten minutes prior to my guest receiving his. There must be better coordination of food service.
Super noisy - not the best place if you want to get together and have a conversation! Food is good though!
Always fabulous always wonderful food and service
I had a food intoxication all night long after having lunch there. There clams where not fresh and got me seek!
I can always count on this restaurant to deliver great food with great service. Certainly in the menu is quite consistent each time but I appreciate that for my needs.
Food was delicious. Would recommend.
Perfect for train travellers who don’t want to go out into the cold from grand central
At a family get-together with 4 adults and 4 kids (cousins) we were very happy to get a great circular table and delicious pizza, salads and other plates that we all enjoyed with prompt and courteous, kid-friendly service. Delighted to find this airy getaway in crowded New York over the holidays.
Authentic Italian - yum!
Enjoyed our booth as a family of 5 a little out of the crazy midtown Christmas Tree crowd. Bread, pastas and pizzas had delicious flavor and came out piping hot. We had a great waiter too who was born on a ship immigrating to the US.
Great Italian place right next to Grand Central. Quick service, very tasty pizzas and salads. Super for tired and hungry kids after a day in NYC.
Food & service were excellent, highly recommend the chicken parm!
Excellent experience. Our kids loved it...the food...the waitor and overall environment. It was just the right noise level!
The food is always consistent. Not great, not bad but not special. During my last visit it turns out that there was a prix fixe lunch available. Our server never mentioned it and I didn't notice the advertisement for it on the table. When I realized that my party ordered precisely what was on the prix fixe I asked the waitress to adjust our check. She said she couldn't but gave us a free dessert. Not really good for customer service and a little short-sighted.
We were party of 7 ...2 children
Celebrate Christmas time in NYC with out of town family. This restaurant was perfect for relaxed dinner after Radio City & Rockefeller Center. Everyone enjoyed their dinner &. Service was perfect.
The waitress was a pleasure. We sat near the front door where it was less noisy and crowded from the bar scene.
Always great w ease to grand central and Pizza is super in a lively, fun atmosphere. Service always helpful and careful to get us to our show on time!
Awesome. Will be back for sure!!
The food was tasty BUT the noise level was ridiculous . . . we could not hear each other speak. Also, this Italian restaurant ran out of bread of all things, and food was not delivered to all of us at the same time. We had to wait a good 5+ minutes for one of the plates to arrive, after a long wait. The server tried to be attentive, but was dealing with a difficult set of facts. We were comp'd 3 tasty desserts, so the server definitely gets credit for trying to make lemonade out of lemons (and was tipped accordingly). However, we would not return except at off-peak hours.
Big, loud and expensive for drinks and gourmet pizza. That being said it’s one of my favorite NY restaurants and go there a few times a year. It screams NY and the Pizza is excellent. Sort of shocked it’s closed Sat and Sun.
Food was excellent. Service was great. Pretty space, loud. A bit pricey. Overall...solid meal and would certainly go back. Pizza was delish!
Absolutely fantastic food and service. incredibly accommodating to me, my wife, and our five kids!
