It's like coming home. We love to eat at Naples 45, and they really let you know that they enjoy having you with them.
I had personal pizza which was delicious and the crust was thin and crispy.
Overall, it was a great experience with food, service, and the ambiance.
Very good and attentive service, food is good enough.
But the noise level is ridiculously high. It is difficult to have a conversation there.
The food was good but the noise level made it hard to hear a business conversation and it was pretty expensive for what was ordered.
Table next to us had two screaming children. Restaurant was not crowded and they were running around our table and yelling.
Good food, very busy during lunch. Is very loud in that main dining room. Enjoyed it.
Conveniently located for my spouse and I, Naples 45 is easy to get to via public transportation in midtown Manhattan. There is indoor and outdoor seating with a bar in both settings as well as full service restaurant serving pizza and mostly Italian dishes. We both ordered salads and beer; my beer was flat and her salad lacked the chicken mine had. The service was excellent. Don’t worry, we would return!
I would recommend Naples 45 with a strong caveat -- the noise level is outrageous and no one can hear anything. The night we were there there were a lot of people in the bar area and not so many at tables. Those of us at the tables could not hear each other and I was with 2 millenials. They couldn't hear each other. I will not go back there during the height of lunch or dinner hours due to this very annoying and uncomfortable noise level. Couldn't you put glass enclosure around the bar so the noise doesn't deafen everyone else? The food and service were good. But that noise level is losing you customers.
Noisy place, but good value for money and food. Not a place for official business lunches but good value for informal business lunches / meetings
weather was nice so ate outside, the inside gets very loud at lunchtime. Food and value is great, but can't go for a conversation.
i had lunch with work colleagues. it was a beautiful day and we sat outside on the terrace. we all had salads which were fresh and delicious. the iced tea was terrific and our server was attentive.
Extremely loud and unable to talk to my guest. This was peak lunch. As the crowd left it became more bearable. Totally not a place to take clients
I'm sorry I have to say quality of food is average here. Prosciutto was low quality and when you order Parmigiano in a restaurant that is supposed to be Italian or italian inspired you expect the real one not the new jersey fake version. The manager was intelligent and offered to remove the cost. But still overall you can do better as menu is expensive for what it offers.
My experience at Naples 45 varies depending on time of day. I would say that the lunch hour is pretty frenetic with a lot of business people descending on this establishment. The servers seem to be harried. The food is “meh” and one can hardly hear the person sitting across. Dinner always seems to be better overall. I ordered the misto salad with shrimp...nothing special. The dressing that came with it was heavy/creamy even if the description said red wine vinaigrette which in any other context would be a more liquid consistency. The server was too rushed to get another dressing so offered the balsamic vinegar. My dining companion had the fish and it looked like a chicken cutlet. The convenience of this location is its greatest asset during lunch but I think I’ll make the effort to find another establishment during this busy hour since food and service quality does suffer.
Pizza great as ever, but my first 3 beverage choices were not available
In our pizza was a long hair please be carefull thanks
Always consistent food and you are able
To actually get in and out in less than one hour.
The best manager at any NYC restaurant is Chris!!! Thanks for making me want to come back to Naples with my clients!
Easy to access location with an inoffensive Italian menu.
Excellent location. Loved the food & ambiance. Recommend the pizza & salad
Extremely noisy even as far from the bar as possible. Pasta dish so so. Won’t return
Naples 45 is an easy location to access with an excellent space for large or intimate gatherings. Their service staff was delightful and very accommodating.
Perfect place for dinner outdoors when meeting someone who needs to take the train home from Grand Central; classic food and great service.
Food was outstanding and the ambiance was outstanding. The server was polite but could have been more attentive considering it was slow.
Service was a little slow despite it not being a busy night. Calamari is excellent and the scialatelli with pesto and shrimp was delicious.
As always Naples 45 does not disappoint. I ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad and it was delicious. My colleagues ordered Pizza and the other the Pasta Special. The food is just great for lunch. The place is quite noisy but that sat us near the kitchen and that made it better. Overall a great place to have a business lunch and after work drinks.
A gem in the midtown area!! Delicious and authentic food that is carefully prepared, great cocktails and a lively, open environment. Good for business meetings or a regular hangout.
Food was overcooked and very dry .
Had to send dishes back to the kitchen
Every time I come to New York a must stop!!!! Excellent service and great food!!!!!
WAY too loud, could barely hear our table! Food was very dull and bland... wouldn't recommend the salads or the pizzas.
Lunch service was fast, food was very good. Restaurant wasn't full and it was very loud.
This place had great food and was kid friendly with good menus for kids. It has a lot of tables. It was decent value for NYC, which is expensive everywhere. Brennen, our server, was great. He was very helpful, and went out of his way to recommend other kid friendly things to do in the city. Overall, this was a good experience.
Excellent food and service. Conveniently located right above Grand Central Station in MetLife Bldg. A great slice of Italy in NYC!
All of the food was so salty I couldn't eat it.
The dessert was not good, even tho the waiter said it was great
Inside the restaurant is so noisy, you have to yell to be heard, so we asked to be seated outside in the shade. The hostess was not very accommodating or friendly and kept showing us tables in the sun. I cannot sit in the sun...so we waiting about 1/2 hour to be a table in the shade.
The waitress was really outstanding. She was the saving grace of this lunch. She was absolutely lovely.
And the pizza was great as was the Caesar salad. The desert was the cream on top. In short - good food - great service and good food. But sit outside whenever you can if you would like to have a conversation and don't like high volume noise.
This restaurant had simple but delicious food at a pretty high price. They also had an attractive but very uncomfortable setting. The restaurant was open, extremely loud, not at all cozy. The plates provided for shared pizza were about the size of a 4x6 notecard. Shared salad was served with 5 inch appetizer plates and uncut lettuce. Nearly Impossible to eat without making a mess, a bit embarrassing to older patrons or those with neuropathy. I would get doordash or takeout if possible to enjoy their tasty food the next time.
Delicious appetizers, we enjoyed calamari and meatballs. The veal was lemony and well prepared. Service was friendly and quick.
Convenient to Grand Central, nice ambiance, efficient service and good food. If you need a good business lunch and to be done in under an hour, this is a good option.
Way too loud... difficult to carry on a conversation. Feel bad for the wait staff who can’t escape the noise.
