Convenient location. Food was okay. May find better places outside the tourist corridors.
All was good, glad we picked the Naples 45 as our spot
Handy spot for a quick dinner as it was close to our hotel. It is a very big and open and we found it a little noisy at times as there were 2 large groups. The drinks and food offering is good and great value for money. Everything was served very quickly which was ideal for what we were looking for.
Very convenient fast service good food. Thanks.
Forgot my avocado. Server did as good a job as he could based on the amount of people there
I was very surprised at the level of service and food today. the place was not crowded so my request to have my margherita pizza with Anchovy to be crispy should not have gone unnoticed. I finally received it cold and not crispy at all. The only saving grace was that the waitress took it off the bill but it should not have been. First time Naples 45 disappointed me.
Very consistent and reliable. Great service-- servers, food wait times very short. Excellent pizza, other menu items reasonably good. Noisy. Very convenient location.
Nice evening. Good food and great service.
The service was not fantastic, staff couldn’t wait to rush us out the door and we did not feel welcome.
Food was okay but not the most authentic tasting Italian.
Not a Neapolitan food, quote disappointing .
On vacation with my family, good ambiance, good food.
Very friendly service. Delicious food. Can full recommended it to go there
My now fiancé and I went for Christmas Eve dinner, food was great. I proposed there, the manager gave us complimentary glasses of wine for the ocassion. Great place, I recommend it!
Good pizza, very quiet, a nice change from the massive crowds at Grand Central
I did not like your pizza crust for a wood burning oven. There was not enough topping for a large pizza. I would probably not go back. The positive is the happy hour was a very good deal.
We had a slight glitch with our orders; the manager immediately stepped in, handled and resolved the situation, to our complete satisfaction. We highly recommend this fine restaurant.
Pretty pedestrian Italian restaurant. Pizza doughy and underdone. Linguini overdone. And meatballs tasted like they came frozen. Overall clearly an outfit that needs to move tourist through as quickly as possible. The only plus was the fast service— but they did forget one of the kid’s meals so that didn’t make for a great experience.
Each staff member we interacted with was personable, helpful and good at their job.
Good service (thank you David), broad selection and convenient location make this a positive experience....
Location is perfect! Service is very fast so if you are there for lunch you can definitely be in and out in an hour. They don't rush you if you decide to stay. The only issue is that it is really loud in there around dinner time. You have to really shout for someone across the table for some one to hear you. But otherwise, the waiters are friendly and the food is reliable
Great go-to place for a business lunch when craving pizza. Came in early for lunch so it was still quiet and then the crowd starts coming in and you can hardly hear your conversation. Pizza was good and I do love their unsweetened ice tea...refreshing! Service is hit or miss sometimes...I think it should just be a standard for the server to greet the guest once seated but I had to ask a passing server who our server was.
Very good food, good location and good atmosphere.
Waitress had too many tables. Had to get someone else to get our check. We were having a holiday lunch and needed to get back to work after almost 2 hours at the restaurant. Food is very good. If you want to talk it's too noisy for a business meeting.
It's like coming home. everyone seems glad to see you, the food is excellent, and the service is efficient. We love it.
Some pizzas was overburned, the waiter dropped a pitcher of water near us but no one came us to ask excuse. No one asked if food was good, the only important thing was bring us the bill
The food was great as usual come with eaten there many times before and have not been disappointed
Food poor-pizza burnt, chicken dry. Overpriced. Wouldn't go back!
Consistently a good place to meet, eat tasty food, not feel packed tightly, get some natural light, friendly service. A little loud but workable.
Was very quick for lunch - in and out within 45 minutes. Given how long the lines are at peak hours at some fast casual spots in the area, and considering that the food is tasty, it’s a great spot to go to for lunch with coworkers or clients. Would highly recommend!
Great casual Italian spot in midtown. Convenient and consistent.
The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. We had a great time.
Naples 45 delivers one of New York's best truly Italian pizzas and does so extremely efficiently and so serves its business lunch crowd very well: I've been coming here off and on since 2002 and it continues to deliver without feeling as old as that date might imply. Naples 45 executes very well.
However, I would be remiss not to note that the pricing is out of control: $83 with tip for two pizzas with few toppings (no meat) and no extras, one green salad to share, and two coffees—no other drinks—is excessive. Will I go again? Yes: there are few sit-down choices that are anywhere near as efficient in this part of Midtown East, and it is very reliable. It is also cheaper than the even more outrageously priced (and co-owned by the Patina Group) Cafe Centro, next door—which has virtually nothing for non-meat eaters.
But, I now feel gouged, and unlike the pizza, that's beginning to leave a nasty taste in my mouth. The place was full. They need no lessons from me in running a business. I used to enjoy an occasional catch-up over a pizza though, and now I will be thinking, is this a $40+ catch-up, or should we just get a coffee or after-work drink?
Stellar meal. Marred a bit by the over the top noise level. Great mushroom pasta and an outstanding salmon. Great service and convenient location.
Extremely convenient to GCT and the subways. Large and able to handle big parties. Food is not unreasonably priced given its mid-town location. The only strike I have is that it is not quiet.
Always have a great meal at Naples 45. Service is excellent and the food is very good. Large portions and they move quick without rushing you. It’s always very busy and it’s a large restaurant so it can get a little noisy but not so loud you can’t have conversation. Perfect for a casual dinner or a nice occasion. Outdoor dining in the nice weather is the best, but the ambiance inside is warm and inviting in the colder months as well.
Preordered apps for 17 people no one explained to me that 5 pizzas were way too much in addition to all other apps I ordered/ bill was almost 2500!!!
Good food but poor acoustics, it’s noisy. Pizza and salads are good for a group lunch or dinner.
Great service but noisy. Our waiter was very helpful though!
Soups and salads very tasty. Table service perfectly fine. Hostess did not connect my companion and I when we arrived separately and only by chance did I see him seated elsewhere half an hour after we each arrived. Biggest problem was the noise level. This place seriously needs and could well afford sh investment in some acoustic improvement to the ceiling.
