My best restaurant for meeting a friend for lunch.

I always, yes, always order the albacore tune salad. The dish if filled with lettuce; olives; heirloom tomatoes; beans and purple baby potatoes.

My friend usually has the kale salad with added chicken. Delish!

We order I/2 salad and can barely finish.

Our group had the sea bass, lamb and Filet. Everything was excellent, but it was really the service that made the night perfect. Carey was our server, and he was attentive yet unobtrusive. We all really liked him. I entertain clients a lot so dine in a lot of locations. Overall it was a great dinner, and I wouldn’t hesitate to bring guests here again.

Go there all the time, always goes well all around.

It was a very nice place for dinner for my gf and I we usually enjoy a nice upscale place for our “date” night and this was perfect. Thank you. 🙏

We went to Napa Grille after an amazing art exhibition by Julio Ramos at Westwood Village Square.

Alex was our server and he was so much fun and incredibly attentive. The dishes were delicious, especially the pork chops and mashed potatoes!

I highly recommend going there after Julio’s show or a stroll through Westwood.

It was all about our waitress who was FABULOUS! Cat. I will ask for her specifically every time I come there. Thank you! And the food was great. Yummy Chilean seabass and wonderful decadent chocolate dessert.

Three of the four of us were disappointed with the food. To make matters worse, our mains arrived while we were eating our starters. When the entrees were brought back mine was cool and it was meant to be a hot dish. I was not sending it back a second time.

Our server was a young man named Derek. He was very helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed the food and also did a flight tasting of wine. The wine was not spectacular, but was a good value. We would--and probably will return--and we will definitely ask for Derek,

Great food! We were on the patio almost all by ourselves all night so we had a great time!

Great service. Food was very good. A little on the pricey side but you're also paying for ambiance. It feels upscale and casual at the same time.

Where do I start? My soup was curdled up on top. The bread was stale. I don’t think I was not served “ Chilean Seabass”...if so , it was overcooked and lacked its unique buttery flavor.

We've eaten here a few times before a show at the Geffen Playhouse. It gets busy and can be noisy but still OK to talk and dine with friends. The Scallops are very good. Also the salmon. Flat bread pizzas and salads are a good combo to share since the pizza is large. A friend had the duck and thought it was a little dry. Wait staff is friendly and when I let our waiter know we had tickets for the Geffen he made sure we had plenty of time to walk back to the theater.

Great place to chat. Close to UCLA campus. The service is great. Food has gotten much better. You can wear anything from a sport coat to a T-shirt here. Surprisingly good.

Soup was cold. Sent it back and it came back a long time later, still lukewarm. Service delayed. Vegetables didn’t come out with entrees. Server was nice, but restaurant was clearly disorganized

Very overpriced . 4 in our group. Waited 30 mins even tho we had a reservation. After entrees came we had to beg a second waiter to bring bread and pepper.

The three of us ate well and inexpensively. The sides were a highlight of the meal with generous portions at a reasonable price.

Nased on reviews we expected better service and better food.

Everything was good, but my duck was slightly over cooked and somewhat dry. Service was excellent.

Happy Hour in the bar is ok and good value but the food in the dining room is pricey and unexciting.
Portions are not generous. The Caesar was boring - croutons that have been sitting around too long and definitely not grilled or roasted to order - dressing uninspired - ordinary in every respect. My prawns were cut in half (who does that???) so they were dry. Overall not a good value.

Napa Valley Grille is our "go to" restaurant when we visit The Geffen Theater. We are subscribers. This time, we were very disappointed. My husband ordered the watermelon soup and harvest roasted vegetables. The soup was just okay and the harvest roasted vegetables were an entire plate of onions (red and yellow) with very few other types of vegetables. Usually it is delicious. The server came up to us and clearly saw that the entire plate of vegetables were still on the plate. She said, are you done and my husband said yes, there were way too many onions. Did not say anything but picked up the plate and left.

A great meal, and our server was courteous thank you very much!

Our low expectations were exceeded for a pre-theater dinner at Napa Valley Grille. We were seated in a booth next to a waiter station, and immediately felt the chaos of the enormous restaurant. Everything was hurriedly done, and there was audible tension between wait staff and the kitchen. We could hear the waiters loudly discussing, perhaps arguing about orders. It was incredibly difficult to enjoy our dining experience. The wait staff was so hurried, ours spilled my mostly full wine glass while clearing away a plate. The food was mediocre at best. The only good thing was getting out of there on time for our performance.

We love this restaurant! We go there every time we have tickets to the Geffen theatre. This time I am not sure why but the food wasn’t great. The fish I ordered wasn’t nice texture or flavor and so was my husbands chicken.
For the price... we did not get the amazing food we expected.

Fantastic experience as usual. Yesterday was more special, however. I took my guest, a two star Army General and his team, to lunch. The chef came out and thank them for their service and covered the cost of the meal in a very generous and thoughtful act. We were all very moved by it and appreciative.

Very enjoyable but very few vegetarian choices which is surprising. No vegetarian pasta main dishes unless I missed something. I'm sure I could have asked that the meat be removed from one of the pasta dishes, but I think in today's food universe, at least a quarter of the choices should be vegetarian. And the forward-looking restaurants would include at least 1 vegan option.

Great Service. We ordered two entrees to share and the kitchen split them for us.

I can always rely on the great food and ambience at Napa Valley Grille, and this time was no exception. Which is why I chose it for my birthday. They gave me a free desert too!

The Albacore tuna salad is my favorite as well as the kale salad. It comes with heirloom tomatoes, small purple and white beans, olives and hard boiled egg. The dressing is too delish.

Jeremy was my server and he was excellent. He listened when I placed my order and delivered it to me just as I had asked.

Had a great experience and dinner. Wine was yummy. Our waitress was wonderful and gave good recommendations. Everyone enjoyed their meal and vegan options were great!!

Excellent quality and value. We cleaned every plate, left full and satisfied. We will definitely return!

Reliable and excellent service. Other than the fact that the salads are drenched with dressing, it’s just fine for a one hour lunch.
