Napa River Grill Ratings and Reviews
Setting everyone right beside one another opposed to leaving a table or so between. Had a very loud lady sat diagonally and 2 right across from us. There were plenty other open tables for personal spacing. Waiter was great, food good but overpriced for a sandwich that was pretty thin at that. Very nice looking restaurant but they need to revisit the menu pricing for a lunch sandwich & amount served on it for that price.
Family came for Christmas from MI, OH, PA with vegan, vegetarian, you name it expectations.
Your Sunday buffet meant everyone could eat to their hearts' content and when we left, each person remarked that the buffet had been excellent. You are a treasure for the city.
Sunday night, 3 tables in the whole restaurant and a very rude manager, the manager still doesn't get it the women go out for dinner alone, he went to talk to the 2 tables with guys , never approach my friend and I to ask about our food and service. I aleady told all my friends and i will never ever get back there. Too many good restaurants in Louisville to go back there
Our soup and salad came out before our appetizer (calamari)
My girlfriends premier sirloin was so tough that she only made it through a little more than half way before she finally gave up.
My Shrimp and grits were so spicy hot that I only ate the shrimp and that was by removing as much of the sauce as I could.
Being an establishment that presents itself as tops is Louisville it fell quite short of that description.
When our waiter brought out the appetizer, his only comment was he was sorry about getting it that late.
A note was sent to the attn. of the manager on Monday. Have not had a reply.
Waited almost 30 minutes for the cornbread to come out. Second round of drinks very slow to arrive. The entire meal took almost THREE hours. Once the order was placed, however, it came out timely and the food was very good. It just took too long to get it going.
Napa River Grill offers the best brunch in the Ville! You can eat 'breakfast' type foods (pancakes, grits, eggs any style) or 'lunch' type foods (hot brown, grilled salmon, fried chicken) or do what I did and have yankee pot roast wrapped in pancakes...delicious!
The head chef keeps an eye on the buffet and foods are replaced as needed...always hot and delicious!
Forgot to mention that you can wash it all down with $2.00 mimosas or bloody Mary's.
