   The brunch buffet had a great variety of dishes. Great selection of breakfast items as well as wonderful selection of meats and vegetables. Nice dessert selection.

   Unfortunately we were seated very close to the bar area therefore we picked up all a lot of bar extra conversation some of which I did not enjoy hearing however overall the service was impeccable the bathrooms ran out of soap in both dispensers there was water all over the top of the counter space that’s rather unfortunate because it is a Lovely Pl.,parking is adequate and the receptionist at the door is very cheerful and smiling lovely redhead gentlemen wish I caught his name he was extremely pleasant. The food was OK the lobster tail was way over cooked and tough , cocktail shrimp was excellent, oysters tasted very good, and I love the selection of sauces that was served with them, we had to ask for bread, and our water glasses never got filled up a second time and the potatoes were outstanding so as you can see, is the highs and lows so it averages out about middle of the road but for the mount of money that you pay, which is really high on pricing, it’s kind of sad maybe next time things will be a little bit better, I guess that would explain why on a Friday night at 7 PM the place was only at about a 30% occupancy.

   The food was excellent and the portions were filling. I had to share with my husband to avoid asking for a doggie bag. The prices are a little high considering that bread and salad aren't included, but it is worth it for a special occasion- which this was. We were celebrating our anniversary and I had mentioned that when making the reservation. Unfortunately, the staff didn't get the message and no mention was made of our anniversary while we were there. We are used to being offered a free dessert for special occasions. Not a problem though. Maybe next time.

    I never leave reviews but this is a hidden gem. Our food was incredible. It wasn’t to loud & overall, I wish we would have found this place sooner!!!!! Some of the best food around.

    Waitress was also assigned to a large private party in back room.. was lucky to see her every 10 mins.. food was warm at best.. dessert ( carrot cake) was so dry it was almost inedible.. I haven’t been there for a while, I won’t be going back! Purchased the gift certificate at a charity event.. was happy to overpay due to the cause.. but will never bid again for a meal from napa

    Unfortunately, perhaps the server was assigned too many tables. One of our entrées was barely warm and we could never find him to ask him to heat it up. The table beside us was extremely loud, it was a birthday. Large parties, especially of 12, should be put in a special area.

    It had been a few years since we tried this place and it was a little disappointing based off memories. We got the steak and it was near flavorless. The lobster rolls were great and we got an excellent Malbec. Between the weird ambiance, dirty bathroom and main course that could surpassed at any chain it is hard for me to recommend this place. Maybe it is on us for getting the wrong thing and I would go back and enjoy the lobster rolls on the patio.

    Food and service were very good and I definitely will return. The restaurant ambiance could be spruced up to make it a really nice experience . Lighting more subdued with table candles or lights, more comfortable chairs, nicer table clothes, etc. seems like space needs a refresh

    We started early in the bar and ended up eating in the bar because the staff was very nice and accommodating and since it wasn’t too busy there, it was pretty quiet. Great evening 👍🏻

    We went for Valentine’s Day dinner. The food was amazing- they have homemade pasta!!! The restaurant is beautiful. Our waiter was AMAZING. ! He was extremely nice, attentive, knowledgeable.

    As always, the food was delicious. Aged ribeye and grilled salmon were both cooked to perfection. The salads and desserts were tasty and complemented the entrees excellently. The service was attentive and courteous. We will be back again.

    Went for Valentine’s dinner. I was a bit worried based on the reviews. We made a reservation to ensure we could get in this weekend. Unfortunately we were seated in the back room others have referred to as needing “major updating.” True, not a great spot to sit but it was quieter than in the main dining area and we were very fortunate to have Eli as our server. He and his assist staff were amazingly attentive despite the busy night. The food - also AMAZING. Again I was a little worried based on the reviews but we had the double cut filet for two with lump crap, whipped potatoes and asparagus. The steak was perfect and the potatoes were the best ever. The chocolate cream brûlée was an excellent pairing with the champagne that came with the meal for two. Overall - we had a great experience and we will return soon.

    We have enjoyed eating at Napa River for many years, but our last time on Friday 2/10 was not good. Six of us were there for my husband’s birthday. I noticed Napa has changed their menu and I wanted to give their new menu a try. Oysters on half shell were good. The lobster rolls and the tuna appetizers were ok (liked the old tuna appetizer better). The main dinner menu we received was not updated. My Chef’s Cut steak was a tough piece of tenderloin and tasted bad (my husband said it tasted tough and bad too). I sent it back after just one bite and they tried to charge me for it. Two of our friend’s wives ordered the valentines special sea bass meal for 2. They asked if they would each get their own plate of sea bass and was told yes. Only one plate of sea bass was brought out so the other guest had to ask where her plate of sea bass was and had to wait while another was cooked. The second sea bass was served still cold in the middle. I was disappointed their menu did not have the wagyu beef that was listed on their on-line menu. The beef options were limited to filet $46, chef’s cut $42 and ribeye which was $90. Wish they had a ribeye choice that was not $90. Server brought a birthday dessert out for my husband (he did not get to pick) and dessert out for the two that ordered the valentine special but still had not shown the rest of us the dessert menu. So half the table had dessert. The two who ordered the valentine sea bass were supposed to get a chocolate crème brûlée but instead received a plain vanilla crème brûlée. Three of us finally got to order dessert and ordered the Bourbon vanilla creme brulee, orange berry compote, fresh berries and we received a plain vanilla crème brûlée. It was a very disappointing evening after having enjoyed Napa for many years previously.
