Napa River Grill
Very positive first visit! Our server Anne Marie was so charming & personable . Will definitely return!
The seafood special was a bit skimpy but everything was delicious!
The service was wonderful!! The food was very good but, the prices were a bit high. I was told that the Pad Thai was not too spicy but, it was for me. The waiter was very accommodating & brought me the halibut, which was very good but, like I have already said, a bit toooooooo pricey as was my husband’s triple plate of tuna, salmon & halibut.
Great for a rare lunch date with my husband
Price advertised on line was $20 but it was $30 when we got our bill
NRG is our family's favorite place to eat. We go there often.
Our party of six were seated at a large round table, safely distanced from other diners. Overall the food and service were very good It was a buffet but we were served by the staff. It was a pleasant meal and surroundings. We’ve eaten there before and will do it again.
The seafood special was perfect, light and delicious. Tables were separated appropriately. Our waitress was attentive.
Menu options were disappointing (no chicken). When we inquired about this, our server was short with us.
It was our anniversary and when making the reservation I made sure to include the special occasion. No one acknowledged, asked or even acted on it. Kind of a let down.
ok.... just ok... wine menu pretty limited. Food is decent, certainly not to the quality level of the past.
Excellent filet, broccoli, potatoes..Andy is an excellent server.
Lighting was poor and service was amateur. Expected more from a high end restaurant.
We came in for dinner to celebrate an anniversary. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. All CDC protocols were being followed. It was a delightful evening.
Sunday Brunch Was Awesome And Delicious!!!??!!!!!!
Great service and food. Sunday Brunch is the best!
For the most part it was good. Would like the option of turkey bacon, turkey sausage or an impossible sausage being added to the menu. If you serve bacon, sausage, pork tenderloin... there is no sense in putting bacon in everything else (i.e. the hashbrown casserole and/or the hot brown casserole. The mimosas were strong, but they were extra stingy with pours.
Friends birthday
Salad was wilted. Menu much abbreviated. High prices for what was offered. Half empty but poor service!!! No more cornbread offered. Don’t mind paying for bread but mediocre at best. Used to be a favorite to attend. Will not be back!
We had a table near the kitchen so it was busy as we enjoyed our meal. Service and food were great.
Great food and great service. Forget about this place. Will be back for sure.
The food was awesome. The only complaint I had was the guy that put food on my plate for the Sunday brunch did not have on gloves and his beard was hanging from his mask.
Food was great as usual. Waitstaff was just ok and slow. Did not ask us if we would like a second drink nor if we would like dessert. They left a lot of money on tae
I have never had a meal here that wasn’t fabulous!
Nice atmosphere table spread out we had great food and excellent service.several of us had the tomato soup best in town and loved the beet salad
The customer service, food, drinks and atmosphere was amazing. We love this place but always forget about it. We will be regulars fir Sunday brunch!!!!
The food was just not the usual awesome food I am used to from Napa. It’s been a little while since I’ve eaten here, so maybe it’s gone down hill? What happened to the awesome parmesan bowl the Caesar salad used to come in... now it’s just a parmesan cracker on top. Overall something was just missing last night... wasn’t horrible but not what I remember.
It was my first experience eating indoors at a restaurant since the pandemic started. I felt comfortable with their setup. I was there with my sister and a friend, celebrating my friend’s birthday. Everything was perfect. We had a wonderful evening.
Went there during Louisville restaurant week. We had a drink outside in the courtyard before dinner and the ambiance was so nice. We both had a prix fixe menu item. I got the salmon, which was done perfectly, but could have used a bit of sauce. Potatoes were good and the side of seasoned vegetables were so flavorful! The mini desserts were a nice touch and really tasty! The husband had short rib lasagna and he said it was very tender and good.
Service was excellent and it was a most enjoyable dinner!
Excellent filet mignon!!
We went during restaurant week and enjoyed the special menu entrees. I had the grilled salmon and my wife enjoyed the short rib lasagna..
Excellent service and delicious food...
We will be back....
Everything was wonderful! The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere made for a fabulous evening. We will definitely be back!
Great food overall. App was just lukewarm. Lasagna was amazing as were desserts! Great company!!
Another great experience at this restaurant. Service was outstanding. Food was amazing. Very enjoyable night out.
My meal was cold, not even warm, by the time I got a server, not ours and he brought it back our friends had finished eating . Too expensive to have this happen
Server was annoyed for some reason and we only had a party of 4. Not sure what we did but he did not provide a very enjoyable experience. Expect better at a restaurant of this caliber. Been there before and had had much better service and experiences. So hoping this isn't a reflection on restaurant's future and/or current management.
Outstanding service!!!
We try to go to one restaurant in the Louisville/Southern Indiana area of this calibre once per week. Of the 10 or so we’ve been to recently Napa is near the bottom. My daughter had a lobster pasta special that was bland. I had a porterhouse special that was not seasoned at all. My wife had a vegetable pasta and also wasn’t impressed. We paid a little more than comparable places and were less pleased than anywhere else. It was ok, but we have a long list of places on here that are 5 of 5 for us to go to instead.
My wife and I were very disappointed in the food and service here. The caesar's salad I ordered was the worst tasting one I've ever had and I could barely eat a bit of it and it was taken off our bill. The quail was average but stuffed with a spicy concoction on the inside. My wife's burger was cooked medium rare rather than medium as she requested. Parts inside were very pink. The service wasn't too good. Our server wasn't overly friendly and I had to ask her to refill my water glass.
For the $88 dollar bill for two, we definitely won't be back.
Everything was very delicious. Our waiter was very attentive. The only thing that wasn’t great was they did not serve any kind of bread with my lasagna
