Our first time. We sat outside. It was marvelous. Food. Service. Everything. We will be back
Our experience here is always delightful! Food, ambiance, service, drinks- all worth it. We love the chicken and waffles for brunch. We got married here last year and the staff now treats us like family.
My second visit to Napa and once again the food and service (Sarah) were outstanding! Always an enjoyable experience for special celebrations - or any day!
Lovely atmosphere, great food, great waitstaff! We’ll be back!
Napa at Kingsley was a refreshing change. The food was thoughtful and creative. Every dish had an usual ingredient. The scallops were huge and the duck was cooked perfectly with a crispy crust. Love that they serve each type of wine in a different glass. The attention to detail is fun. The restaurant opens up to a nice view, and the vibe is very upbeat. Chef James food is something you should not miss.
If you have plenty of time to waste, like bland food and really like potatoes. This is the place for you!
Service was so slow. We had to ask our server multiple times for the same thing. Very disappointing.
Great dinner 5 stars. Very loud. Hard to hear.
It’s just ok. Try’s a bit too hard and misses.
The food and service was a spectacular. Had the tuna appetizer and the sea bass and everything was fabulous.
We took our neighbors and they loved it
Steak and lobster tail were over cooked. Service was slow. At least manager comped meal, and all staff was kind.
We came here to celebrate buying our first home with a gift card from our realtor. We made a reservation and were seated immediately. We loved the vibe and being right by the water. It took a while for a waiter to come greet us. The bread and butter was delicious—that butter! We got an appetizer of lemon gnocchi and that was great. I wish I could have ordered that as an entree. The bread and app came out quickly.
Then the experience started to turn sour. We waited at least 45 minutes for our entrees. All said and done, we spent 2 hours at this restaurant. It was just me and my husband, we weren’t a large group.
I ordered the duck and was sorely underwhelmed. It was crispy which I appreciated. But the cherry sauce tasted like salty condensed beef stock, no cherry at all. It ate really salty and the risotto didn’t have a lot of flavor. My husband ordered the steak filet and thought it was meh. He said it needed salt.
Before our entrees came out, the manager did come out and apologize for the wait. Our server gave us a free dessert of cheesecake which was kind. The crust was a little thick but the lemon whipped cream and strawberries were to die for.
I will probably not be back here. I appreciate the gesture of a free dessert, but thought the wait was crazy and the entrees were underwhelming.
We had a table on the patio overlooking the pond, which was very nice. $18 for a vesper seemed excessive, I mean, its not like it in LA.
Great food and service, pretty loud but we are ok with that.
Mediocre food, not well prepared. Pork chop was overcooked and dry, wife’s risotto was undercooked, scallops cooked well but gritty. Very unlikely to return.
The scallops were amazing and we loved sitting outside!
We were a table of six in the outdoor patio area. Our waitress was pleasant but not upbeat or welcoming. She reached over people to place the water and other bar items. One of the margaritas did not have the garnishing and she came back and just plopped it onto the glass that was missing it. After we finished our dinner and dessert and she brought us the check, she completely disappeared for at least 15 minutes. We were held hostage waiting on her. I finally started to get out of my chair and go look for her and as I stood up she appeared.
The best crab cakes I have ever had!!! I can't wait to go back!
Carlie was extremely professional, knowledgeable about the menu and just a treat as our server. Colton, (the floor manager, I think) was also nice, professional and knowledgeable about wine.
NAPA is unique with its flavor combinations. Things you would not expect to be paired together just work. The ambiance is wonderful, the food is extremely unique and the service is excellent.
Party of 6 for a business dinner; we were running late but the staff was very accommodating and held the table for us. Order was taken promptly and the food was excellent. Great wine selection, from value price to high-end. Service was attentive but not hovering. Will definitely be back.
We had an absolutely wonderful waiter. He was so polite and informative about Napa. We all got small plates and thoroughly enjoyed them.
great location and outdoor seating. Bar is a fun place to have a drink and even your dinner.
Had Easter Brunch with my family. Wonderful Prix Fixe menu choices and everything was delicious. Excellent service despite a very busy day. Our table was just inside the open doors so we had the best of both worlds...out of the sun and a cool breeze. Will definitely be back!
This was my first time there, with my date. The overall experience was wonderful. Our waitress Erin was WONDERFUL!!
The Easter Brunch was delicious! The server Fran is an amazing server. She is friendly and knowledgeable. The set menu for holidays is our favorite way to enjoy the food. This is our third holiday and we will definitely be back! We didn’t ask prior to ordering it, but the chicken and waffles was very spicy, tasty but spicy. Everything else was delicious as well, with six of us we had almost every entree! Thank you Napa for a wonderful afternoon!
Food is amazing here! Always a good choice for dinner! Service was wonderful as well!
We visited Napa at Kingsley with my mother-in-law for my husband's birthday (table of 3).
The staff was very accommodating, allowing us to sit at an outside table. We were not in a rush at all, so we didn't mind that it took about 15 minutes for staff to set up a heater at our table.
Service and the kitchen seemed slow that night (it was a Saturday, so they were probably pretty busy. I didn't see the dining room.)
Things that took too long were generally the responsibility of our primary server, so I think she might have been experiencing some difficulties keeping up. Her first trip to our table for our drink order and picking up our tab for payment processing took the longest. Luckily, the restaurant practices a sort of "team service" that covered up our server's inability to nicely pace our experience.
The kitchen was a little slow. Entrees took longer than they should have, so a manager visited.
Aside from the minor delays and several people having to help our slow server, entrees were good. Napa really excels with main courses. We had the duck, salmon and scallops. All were excellent.
But...our first course "foie gras" small plate was strange and overpriced. The meat did not taste like foie gras in the least bit, and the mystery protein was served with french toast, strawberry jam and TONS of maple syrup. A strange tiny breakfast for $15...
Dessert was strawberry cheesecake with a weird layer of chiffon cake baked into the middle. Very different, didn't really understand the cake inside the cheesecake...
Of the 4 desserts on the menu, only 3 were actually available. The server proceeded to tell us in detail about the screwed up bomba dessert that was basically un-servable that night. (Maybe a more graceful explanation would be in order.)
Compared to past visits, there were a few disappointments. But we'll go back; maybe it was just an off night.
First time dining at Napa. Great food presentation and service. We will be back when we travel back to SC
Kyle was awesome! We love Napa and will continue to frequent!
The food was great Except the lobster, too overcooked.
The waitress was amazing, she was able to get one of their of menu desserts which was fantastic.
It is a very noisy atmosphere, but if you’re looking for some good food definitely a great spot.
The food was outstanding. Good service. The staff all wore masks, cleaned well between seating. Definitely will go back.
Brook was our server and she was wonderful ! The best dirty martini I’ve had in a long time
Every time we visit the servers are professional, food is presented beautifully and tastes wonderful.
We had a nice view from the outdoor seating. Lucas' service was spot on. Carpaccio and Foie Gras were delicious. Carrot Ginger soup was good; the day's special soup of Cream of Mushroom missed the mark.
