Napa at Kingsley
Great atmosphere and food. Will definitely return and recommend to friends.
Our server Tiffany was very professional and helped me and my fiancé have the best anniversary dinner we have ever had. The manager on duty Carol checked on us throughout our meal and was a delight to converse with. She even sent out a delicious maple cheesecake for us to celebrate with a champagne toast. I highly recommend dinner here you won’t be disappointed!! Great food!!
My wife and I arrived for an anniversary celebration meal. The restaurant greeted us and acknowledged our anniversary which was really nice. We were seated near the kitchen...an odd spot for an anniversary meal, but Most if the other tables around us were seated there as well. However, things were a bit off from there.
Our server, while polite, brought and uncorked their wrong vintage of wine. This is unacceptable from a wine-centric restaurant. When I questioned I was told they ran out and this was all they had. The soup of the day I ordered was fair, but under seasoned. My wife’s salad was good, but she was still eating it when our entrees arrived...we were in no rush. Plates were not removed from the table when dropping off food and with the exception of the end of our meal I poured ever refill of wine or water my wife and I had.
My med-rare steak arrived med-well, underseasoned, and was sent back. My wife’s veal dish was excellent. When my steak came back it was blue...however, it was better rare than overcooked again, so I ate it.
We ordered dessert, an apple cake dish. The cake was incredibly dense and lacked the flavor we’d hoped for. Thankfully, there was some ice cream on the side which was excellent and helped make the cake easier to eat.
At the end of our meal we were granted the dessert as compensation for our issues/anniversary which was nice. However, the booth behind us was brought complimentary champagne to celebrate their anniversary. A bit odd if you ask me.
I’ve done here before and was impressed. This visit left me underwhelmed. I’ll try it again, but it may be a while. As one of the the nicest restaurant in our area it was disappointing and I hope my next meal and service is more enjoyable.
Everyone at our table of 4 rated their entrees exceptional both in taste and presentation. Our server Nikki, with her sparkling personality made the evening even more enjoyable. Napa offers a very warm, attractive , upscale, special occasion, dining experience in Fort Mill.
Nikki was amazing!!! This was my first time at NAPA and I will definitely be back. Everything was phenomenal.
Great ambiance, food and unique specials. Very much enjoyed the live music!
would recommend if you are looking for an upscale place to eat . The food is presented lovely. But, upscale and a bit pricey should be expected. My Squash bisque was only lukewarm. Had to ask waiter for more coffee ( he was very busy but kind) wish I had tried the small plates ( I had the shrimp, didn't care for it much) menu itself not many choices....stick with the small plates.
Nice place for a special occasion. It was very cold near the rear windows area looking out over the pond. Kept our coats on the entire time. Don't think I would come back for dinner maybe try lunch in the future.
We went for a late lunch on Saturday so they weren’t very busy. Service was great and the food was tasty. The only issue was not the fault of the restaurant but of the parents of numerous little children who came in for a birthday party (yes, you read that right) which turned the place into a Chucky Cheese. The children were all about 3 years old and proceeded to run all over the restaurant. The manager was very apologetic and tried to contain the party in the private room. I love children but it was beyond ridiculous for the parents to let them go crazy in a nice restaurant. Otherwise, I can’t wait to go back!
They god my food order wrong ... twice! Then our dessert was missing one scoop of ice cream!
As first time customers, we had the most enjoyable experience at Napa, from the hospitable welcome at the door to the awesome service from our server, Fran, to the most delectable food. We made a special point to verbally express our strong satisfaction directly to the Manager and to Fran!! Hopefully, they will continue to flourish with strong patronage in the area. Can't wait to go back!
Our server, Shelby, was amazing. Her wine and food recommendations were spot on! The assistant manager was also very friendly! The veal and filet dishes were fabulous with a quiet ambience to celebrate our anniversary! Will definitely return and ask for Shelby! Such a great night!
Ok let me start by saying the happy hour menu is great. The meatballs were really good as well as the bread. Drinks were priced good as well. Me and my wife split the filet and I hate to say it was terrible. No flavor and was over cooked. We were in a hurry to go to an event so we didn’t complain. The service in the bar area where we sat was slow. We are big fans of Pump House and hope the food and service at Napa will improve.
Everything was great!
My new “go-to” restaurant. Food was superb, service was great, and you can bring your own wine with no corkage fee.
This is my second dine out at Napa and this experience was totally different then the first. This time we waited for over 10 minutes to be greeted by our server once seated. We ordered the beet salads and a Napa salad and the Napa salad had no dressing on it whatsoever and two of the best salads looked completely different. One had twice as much cheese on it as other. Then my son ordered his steak medium-well with pink inside and it came out rare. The rest of the courses aside from the desert was very good. Three deserts were an extreme disappointment. We ordered the creme brûlée and the apple pie. First you can’t call a dessert a creme brûlée that just because there is caramelized sugar on the top. It was a cold hard cake like consistency not a creamy custard. The apple pie was dense without flavor and the smallest scoop of ice cream on the side. For the money you pay I was expecting much more!
Napa has s a must go to restaurant! Great food, great atmosphere, and great service! Our server, Regi, was the best. He is very knowledgeable regarding the menu, how the food is prepared, wines and cocktails. He was most helpful in assisting us with our selections. Also, Regi is very professional and friendly. You can tell he really enjoys his job!
This was my 3rd visit to Napa at Kinglsey and second disappointment. I made reservations well in advance and we were placed in the off-dining area, which felt like a private room, maybe more quiet but I felt we didn't get to experience the vibe of the restaurant. We suggested Napa since our friends had not been there. Everyone's food was good but still feel it is overpriced for the area. We'll try one more time and sit in the bar area for happy hour.
Overall food and service was very good. The soup was lukewarm and they replaced it with another bowl, but it was the same temperature. It was good, but pricey.
One of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve been to. Great for a date night or taking family from out of town if you’re trying to impress. Only tried two of their small plates which were okay. The charcuterie board was really good and only disappointing thing about it was the portion size. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place.
Fine all around!
Great place and food is delicious. Great view patio
We very pleased with Napa at Kingsley. We were seated at a table that did not have a server assigned to it, but that was corrected by the manager. The food was delicious and the outside seating was wonderful for Sunday Brunch. We enjoyed the live music and watching the children feed the ducks on the pond.
Great food. Great place to meet friends. I've had brunch twice so far and both times were very good. Good service. Not too pricey.
We came here for our sisters birthday and our meal was as delicious as we expected! Everything was cooked to perfection. The only thing we did not enjoy was how long it took to receive missing dishes/sides. The manager was kind and made sure we were cared for. Thanks Napa!
Perfect place all the way around. Food was outstanding!!!
Short rib was excellent. Meatball appetizer was fairly good. Flatbread pizza was pretty much a frozen pizza quality. Place is nice and service very good. I will return to try some other things in the future
Sent a private note to management, because anybody can have a bad day.
I went there with my girl for homecoming and everything from the environment to the food was perfect!
I had great expectations, it was our 40th anniversary. We were joined by friends to celebrate. Our waiter was excellent. Ambiance was nice, we all thought the food was good, but not great. Our bill for 4 people was $250 dollars. The food was just good. I might try again. Thank you
We were seated in an alcove next to a large party of very loud diners. That was the only thing that marred our otherwise pleasurable experience!
We had a 6:00 reservation for a birthday dinner. The hostess wished me a happy birthday and then proceeded to seat the two of us in a booth directly next to the kitchen door. I told her we would like a table and she then sat us in another area. That really irritates me. Being seated next to the swinging kitchen doors should be for the last dinner guest to arrive, not for one of the first. So we were not off to a good start on our first time at Napa Kingsley. We had soup as a starter and we got no bread or crackers. We asked for bread and she explained a couple of options and we paid for a small loaf. The food was well presented and tasteful. Our waitress stopped by several times to check on us. A lot of restaurants offer the birthday guest a complimentary dessert but nothing was offered. I was full anyway but it is always a nice perk to have them acknowledge you again!
I frequent Pump House a fair amount when I’m in town, so needless to say I had to try their sister restaurant, Napa at Kingsley. Calamari? Great. Loved it. The homemade bread? So so so good. The duck duo? Fantastic. Lavender Lemondrop Martini? I’ll take ten. Amanda as our server? Wonderful! Rodney even checked on us to make sure everything was fantastic, which obviously it was. I’ll definitely be back!
Wonderful menu with creativity and multiple choices. Service was extremely slow starting with inattentive in coming to table for almost 15 minutes, to not listening carefully to orders, to not serving in a timely fashion ( cool soup) & not checking on courses & table in general. Great ambiance & vibe in a well designed spot. Moderately noisy....
Great place grat location. The food was delicious! Great wine selection, I will definitely be going back.
We went to brunch and my eggs were poached, but came out overdone. They redid the eggs correctly, but when I got them the rest of my food was cold, I assembled the correct eggs and hollandaise myself, and they still charged me for the dish. I would have understood paying for the dish if they brought me a new one, but felt like for a brunch that was over $100 with tip that was a bit outrageous.
This was our first time there, and I'm willing to try it out again. We were there for lunch/brunch on a Sunday. We were seated next to a table adults and 4 children 2-5 years of age. They were loud. As a parent of two, I get you do have to take them out in public. They got very loud and did take away from the setting. Food and portion sizes were good. No major issues … the quiche was good but a little runny (not sure if that was undercooked eggs or from the spinach & meat. Between two appetizers and four entrees the total came up to less than $100 after tip. If you haven't been, give it a shot. Seems like it'd be great for a date night.
Good food, champagne, and service.
Husband’s scallops good. I got small plates crab cakes. Neither of us of liked them. Service was ok but slow. So far this place has been hit or miss. No Birthday dessert offered like most places. The waitperson said after I asked, “oh it’s a Birthday”, after I had told her several times. Very expensive so not a place I want it to be a possibly miss.
The last time I cane was at lunch and 3 things we tried to order wasn’t available so we left.
The time before our waiter got to busy to continue to wait on us.
Two other times : one at Brunch was very good. Chicken and Waffles were excellent. First time was good although fish wasn’t sent hot as it should have been. I’d really like to see place succeed. It has a lot of potential but waitstaff needs to improve so food comes out hot and many other things need to improve. My daughter asked me why I kept trying to go back and it’s because I keep looking for improvements. I hope they come.
Loved it! Both the food and the service was amazing! We will definitely be back!!!
