The Nantucket is a seafood restaurant that specializes in serving up large portions of freshly caught fish, clams, shrimp and mussels. The beauty of the location of the restaurant is that it sits right on the harbor of the Carquinez Strait, next to a picturesque nearby bridge. Guests are welcome to arrive either by car or boat, as The Nantucket has a dock for guests who wish to come eat via the waterways. While there are non-seafood dishes on the menu like steaks, burgers and fried chicken, the best items on the menu are the seafood ones. There is quite a bit of variety on those as well. The Nantucket serves a spicy jambalaya with onions, scallions and jumbo shrimp, a deep fried fish and chips, and a pan seared miso glazed salmon over linguine just to name a few.

Always a pleasure to find a spot on the water where we can just sit and soak up the sun with great food and view. The food is always tasty and the pace is not rushed. Its fun to see the trains go by and the boats too. Just have to navigate the gravel parking lot and you are there! Well worth it.
