Really nice place! Enjoyed the food, a good price for the quality and amount of food we got. Would totally go back. The cheese board only had one cheese and wasn’t great but besides that 10/10
Okay, so I know this is a relatively new restaurant in the North End, so my group was more than willing to cut them some slack because, New Restaurant. That said, our dining party was seated 1 hrs. AFTER our reservation time! They should probably hire more staff to handle table turnover. The seating hostess went to clean empty tables while leaving her podium unmanned. Dirty tables sat idle for quite some time before they were made ready for the next patrons. This place could use a lesson or two on how to manage a busy restaurant. It was rather disorganized and frantic when we were there. In the Open Table reservation window, we had requested an inside table, by the window. We reiterated our request upon arrival. Not only were we not seated at an inside window table, but people who had arrived after us were seated ahead of us at those tables instead. The food is decent, but stick with their regular dishes because the specials could be hit or miss. We ordered drinks, appetizers, main entrees, and dessert. The drinks and appetizers arrived at the table at a reasonable pace. However, we were made to wait for the main entrees for a very long time. Also, be prepared to pay a hefty bill, especially if you order an alcoholic beverage or two. Overall, I would not return to this place as there are others, in the North End, with equal or better food, and much better service to boot!
Great food, octopus to die for. Servers were pleasant and engaging. A wonderful experience!
for north end standards it was just avg. Not good, not bad. Good for a pop in lunch but def not for a dinner, drinks.
Sebastian our server was AMAZING, food was delicious , we sat outside, beautiful night
Went with my gf for a date night. I had to ask our server 3 separate times to get oil for the bread bc he kept on forgetting. By the time it came we already had our appetizers. Server also slacked on refilling our water. My gf had to drink my water bc of how thirsty she was and how rarely you would see the server. A lady at the table next to us literally raised her hand for 5 straight minutes to get the servers attention. Really felt neglected. Not one to really write negative reviews, but for a restaurant of that caliber to not check off those small details deserves this rating.
Authentic Italian food, nice place to meet friends, share plates
We went 2 times in 5 days .. that’s how good it is!!
Excellent food, outside seating was not comfortable and many passing smokers. Service was slow.
We recently were lucky enough to get a reservation for a Saturday night. What a treat. I'm allergic to pepper, so my food takes a bit more attention to detail.
It was perfect. The beet salad was divine. The pasta with seafood dish was cooked to perfection. The staff was great. The one detail that needs work was the noise level. The music was too loud, and I couldn't hear the person I was sitting next to.
But I could tell by my friends' faces that they also loved the food.
Great north end experience.
We had such an amazing meal and time. The service was perfect.
One of the best restaurants ever! The staff was super friendly and prompt. Food out of this world! Only thing is the noise level can get a bit high inside. But a great dining experience!
Cramped but that's the north end for ya. Great service great food!
Really good food but not quite staffed to handle the dinner rush on a Saturday night.
Excellent food and ambiance. And love that this is a woman-owned restaurant!
We love this place. The food is so delicious. The owners are wonderful. This is a gem.
Loved the food except one person in our group had a lobster claw w black meat in it. All the water did was give us a free dessert! He also told the person that the meat wasn’t bad- the guest is a lobster salesman! Would have given a higher rating if that hadn’t happened
Since they opened this spring this has become one of our favorite restaurants to go to. The service has the right amount of attentiveness and the quality of food is great.
We had an 8PM reservation and did not receive our food until 9:45, while it was a busy night, the waiter did not return to get drink orders in between while we were waiting for the food. Just one drink order then an hour or so wait until the food showed up. We had a show at 10, so we ended up having to take it to go. It was good once we were able to enjoy it!
Part of the disorganization was because of the weather, which is obviously outside of the restaurant’s control, but I still feel like there was a lot of room to improve with the service.
My family had a reservation for 6:15 on Saturday night. The hostess said they needed 10-15 minutes to get our table ready. However, we weren’t seated until 6:50 after it had started raining ☔️! We were seated near the bathroom and the kitchen with barely any space for service staff to move around. We were about 3 feet from the next table. The noise level was very high so it was very difficult to have a conversation.
Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. The food was good but the portions were small.
A disappointing experience after so looking forward to a night out in the North End!
Great food. Good service. High quality ingredients. So happy we had a reservation at such a high quality place
Nando has become our favorite restaurant-great food, great service, and great cocktails! Can’t wait to go back
It was perfect. It is the quintessential 'North End' restaurant. The chef comes out to see if everything is okay. The wait staff speaks Italian. The food is fresh, beautiful and delicious. The service was attentive but not overly so. It was a great location to the TD garden and to the Feast of Saint Anthony's afterwards. We will be back for sure
Fabulous meal, stellar service, traditional Italian food !
Scrumptious amaretto cake ! 2nd visit can’t wait till we can do a third!
First time going to Nando and let me tell you! 5 STARS ALL ACROSS!! From the staff to the owners! They were always there when you needed something! Food was delicious, from the octopus to mussels and the delicious burrata! Everything was served hot and sizzling out of the kitchen even our dinner! Drinks were just perfect with the right amount of alcohol! No complains here! Definitely recommend this place! Best of luck to Sal and Mira!! We will be back again!!
Food, service & cocktails were excellent and the owners are very friendly. We ate indoors and it was REALLY LOUD but that's okay. There's also outdoor seating. Fig appetizer was AMAZING. Nice location across from Paul Revere Mall.
Awesome as usual!!!
Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the burrata and arancini appetizers. The cacio e pepe with truffle was so so good. Will be back soon!
Second time there, food is always very good, lots of choices on menu, the staff is always very pleasant, very nice and attentative ,compared to some of the other restaurants in the area ,the only negative thing I can say is that there was a very long stretch between the appetizers and the main course, about 25 minutes, but luckily it was a beautiful night out and we enjoyed just being out ,but otherwise I would recommend this restaurant to out friends and family
Nandos was recommended to me by a friend and I went for my birthday. Great service and outstanding food. Our waiter Enrique was the best! Would highly recommend.
I have eaten at this restaurant twice in the past 2 weeks and both experiences were outstanding in every way. I strongly recommend Nando to others.
Sal and his wife make you feel like your in their home. Staff was very attentive. Food was excellent. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Great location in the heart of the North End.
As a local, I don't get too impressed anymore, but Nando really tops the ticket. You can tell the owners and staff really care. The food has upped the North End game, perfect drinks/wine list (and, try the cannoli!). Super club chairs in a cool corner spot with great views. It's become a regular spot.
We had a reservation at 7 pm for 2 and waited 50 minutes before we were seated. They seated us in their basement, which was very empty and quiet, and not the environment you are looking for when you visit the North End. We were disappointed in where we had been seated after waiting for so long and left after getting an appetizer. The restaurant should do better about overbooking, as everyone we saw that night had to wait a long time on their table reservation.
We had a fantastic early eve dinner at Nando. We live in Boston, so have many North End restaurants to compare to. The location is wonderful, and the food, service, and wine list put it over the top. The lobster arancini app, halibut special and veal saltimbocca totally yummy.
Nando is a great new addition to the North End dining scene!
Neighbor suggested it to us- we Had a reservation for 7 pm for a group of 7 and they were very very busy. Ended up getting seated at 8, the owner came to our table without us saying anything apologized profusely and gave us apps on the house to extend their apology! The food was some of the best authentic italian food in the north end. Great experience, great atmosphere for a group setting or date night. Will be back again for sure!
I was eager to have lunch with a colleague and Nando Ristorante Enoteca, but left fairly disappointed. The waiter disappeared when we needed an extra minute to decide on our order and avoided us as we tried to get his attention so we could pay our check. I can usually forgive almost anything if the food is good, unfortunately, it was only okay.
