Went Saturday lunchtime, service was very slow, the Apple Pie Porridge was not very nice, I assume it had been prepared before my partners meal, and kept under a heat lamp or something as it developed a ‘film’ on top of the porridge by the time it got to me. It was hot of the outside and cold on the inside. I couldn’t eat it. When paying, the server asked the table number, and put it through the eftpos machine, she then walked off before the payment even went through. Disappointing experience overall.

The only reason Nancy didn’t get a 5 star rating is because our table wasn’t ready when we arrived even though we booked a week earlier. So little gripe from us. Apart from that everything else was on point. They were super busy and we had a birds eye view of the kitchen and they were smashing it. The food was delicious, the coffees were strong and hot and the wait staff were really busy but polite and efficient. Great food, great coffee and great space/atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Great coffee, friendly staff. We both ordered Apple pie porridge, it was really delicious. I wish they kept porridge on the menu all year round, would definitely visit more often.

We have dined at Nancys many times, it is a lovely place, friendly staff and great food. It’s our go to place with friends for coffee or lunch.

Service was horrible took them forever to make our food and they went even busy. Then they forgot a meal and no one apologised. For lunch it’s the most expensive place to eat especially with children. We won’t be back.

We had a delicious lunch to celebrate with our staff for a very late end of year (it is now march) Christmas party. We all enjoyed our meal and the staff the Nancy Eatery were terrific.
