The experience was great, from beginning to end. Parking was easy; the hostess and ambiance, lovely. Our waiter was friendly, informative and had a great sense of humor. Best of all, we tried dishes we’d never had before at a Thai restaurant and all were delicious and would be ordered again. That said, we will definitely return to NaN and hope to bring friends and family to share the experience.
Fabulous Birthday Dinner with my Honey💑.
I had the Jumbo Prawns, and He had Duck.. Scrumptious!
We arrived a bit late, and the complete staff was gracious, professional, and personable.
My Favorite Thai restaurant..
Great experience from the front (hostess and staff) to the back (kitchen dining staff) Tou is an exceptional waiter. The floor manager is very attentive. First time dining and will definitely be back! And the fooood, to die for!
First time there. Wonderful experience. Ambience great. Excellent service. Food was good. Will go back to try other items on the menu.
We loved our server Bryan! He was very knowledgeable, pleasant and followed up with great suggestions. He knew the menu and we had a great meal for my husband’s birthday! Thank you Bryan.
Great food! Really enjoyed our meal!
Everything was amazing...and we shared a LOT of food. Service was impeccable. They call it fine dining for a reason :-)
I normally don't write reviews but Nan was so special I felt it warranted one. Just outstanding food and service. None better in Atlanta.
The service was excellent and we loved our waitress. She also gave us suggestions for our trip to Thailand.
From the moment we arrived to the valet at departure we loved it. The greeting, the service, the food and the location was all exceptional.
I'll first start with the vibe of the restaurant, which was really nice, warm, and pleasant! We went to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary and was welcomed with celebratory words and ended dinner with a complimentary champagne toast-- Thank's Nan Thai! We ordered the Nan's Tasting Tree to start but i wasn't at all fascinated with the Satay Kai (undercooked and told staff but they reassured me the mat was done. I had stomach issues all night though i just tasted it) but all else was really good! I would go back but will do without the chicken skewers!
The service was excellent but to be honest it was overpriced compared to the many other excellent Thai restaurants in the area. $9 for a side of rice, really?
We don’t go here often but always enjoy our meal and service when we do. Staff are all very attentive and welcoming. Food is delicious!
I enjoyed celebrating my birthday with friends. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the ambience was elegant. You cannot go wrong.
We are consistent customers of Chai Yo and Nan Thai. Last night we were offered the holidays menu that is substantially reduced versus the normal one.
We chose the Lobster Pad Thai with shrimps and to our surprise the shrimps were overcooked therefore quite hard and lacking taste.
Great food and service
I love this restaurant. The food is always delicious, but what really sets Nan apart is the customer service. They remember you, greet you pleasantly, serve the dishes timely and always wish you a good evening on departure.
Totally awesome, can’t wait to go back 😀
We came here for our Anniversary dinner. Such an amazing experience. My husband and I enjoyed every second of our time here. Our server Lia was amazing, she knew everything about the menu and what we would like the best. Our first time here, but we'll definitely be back
First time at Nan. Everything was great. Look forward to returning . Also easy walk over from Atlantic Station.
Sophie was so hospitable and a great server. I celebrated a birthday there and it was amazing. Food was excellent and service, impeccable. Would definitely recommend this to any friend. We will be returning.
Best Thai food I’ve ever eaten! The lobster pad Thai and the snapper were both outstanding.
My family has always loved Thai food. I was looking for somewhere nice to go for Christmas. We have never had “fine dining” at a Thai restaurant. It was awesome from start to finish. The restaurant valets. We had the saray & crispy veggie egg rolls. They were the best any of us have ever had. Everything was very fresh. My mom and I had the Panag curry with braised beef. It was melt in your mouth delicious. My husband had the lamb & dad had the pad Thai with lobster. Both of them finished their entire meal. It is not a typical Thai restaurant where you pick your dish & then your meat. The menu was set. There are a lot of options for fish & seafood. I am allergic to both. There were not a lot of choices for those who can’t have it. Make sure to ask what your dish comes with. We added 2 orders of rice then it turned out our dishes came with rice. The Thai sausage fried rice was good but it was not worth $12. All other rice sides were $5. Otherwise everything was perfect.
Nan Thai consistently delivers excellent food and service. Dinner at Nan Thai has been a Christmas tradition for me over the last several years and it seems the secret is out!! The crowd has continued to increase from one year to the next. Of course you don't have to wait until Christmas; any time is a good time to have an excellent meal and enjoy the wonderful service at Nan Thai!!!
This was the perfect spot for our Christmas dinner, and the 3-piece band was an unexpected treat!
Superb, as per usual!!
The food was excellent. Great service. I will definitely go back.
Christmas dinner was perfect.
Get the seared scallops in Thai curry sauce...smokey, spicy, sweet, deliciousness. The creme brulee is fun to eat.
We each ordered the special with lobster tails, prawns, scallops, and calamari. Mine arrived with no calamari, while my dining partner's dish had a lot. Mine was only semi-warm when I got it, and quickly cooled. The dessers were delicious. We had the coconut cake and ice cream, and the dark chocolate mousse cake and Thai tea ice cream.
My dad is very difficult to please, he has such discriminating taste and usually finds one thing to dislike about most restaurants, but he said this was the most delicious Thai food he has ever had in his life. And I must agree. Overall delicious and lovely experience. The ONLY thing that annoyed me is that the hostesses were a bit misinformed about the menu and told us something incorrect about what menu was being used the night we went in, and then they took forever to seat us (after our reservation time had passed) even though it wasn’t that busy. Maybe a bit more hostess training would be good, but the meal and service at the table more than made up for that hiccup. Overall, 5 stars!
Went for Christmas Eve and the ambiance, food and service were perfect. Enjoyed basil rolls and I would highly recommend the Dover Sole! Others in our party had the Filet topped with Shrimp, and the Chicken dish with pineapple rice. Everyone loved their items! Look forward to returning again soon.
Expensive meal but knowing that the chef is very selective with her ingredients and everything is fresh each day, makes an expensive meal, justified. Lia, our server was very nice and personable. Many patrons hugged staff members upon entering the establishment, so its obviously doing something right to have so many regular customers!
We dined on Christmas Eve, and the restaurant did not disappoint. The food was very good and the service was excellent. The restaurant was decorated very nicely for the holiday. We only go to this restaurant occasionally and every time they do an outstanding job.
Fantastic food, festive atmosphere, fine service - this is a restaurant that provides a dining experience!
The food is very good at this restaurant. It can be a little pricey if you don't watch your budget.
By far the worst food we had in Atlanta, at one of the higher price-points. The chicken was so chalky we didn’t finish one small breast between two of us. The appetizers were bland and we have had better at small hole-in-the-wall eateries at half the price. I was very excited and had reservations for a special night before a show, I literally ordered a pizza during the show because we were so hungry after a very expensive meal. Don’t do it.
Go to South City Kitchen for a nice night out. Worth the price for sure.
I appreciate your valuable comment concerning the food quality. We bring this up to the kitchen management seriously. However, if you have more feedback for our restaurant, please provide us your contact info and I will let my manager get you back as soon as possible. Finally, I once again thank you for being our valued guest and hope you will have a great holiday!. ................................... Chef Nan Niyomkul : EXECUTIVE CHEF/OWNER
