We had a wonderful lunch at Namory Eatery — the food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. What really stood out, though, was the warm hospitality from Gu. He went above and beyond to make us feel genuinely welcome, from his attentive service to the thoughtful touches like providing a wine decanter without us even asking. It’s rare to find a place where the care and pride in both the food and the experience shine through so clearly. Namory Eatery is one of those.

It was a catch up of 4 friends at a lovely restaurant. Between us we ordered the squid, san choy bow and the pork belly bites as entrees. All were fabulous. The main courses, seafood laksa, barramundi and lamb shank were also wonderful. We further indulged in the creme brulee which had a tangy twist and was superb. The chef, Gu, was very attentive and inquired regularly if we were happy with our meal and whether we needed anything. This place is a jewel and we will be back whenever we return to Cotton Tree.

Nice enough place however the pick of the menu is the Salt pepper squid The other meals lacked any real flavour nothing special really

Chef Gu’s usual light, clean touch with seafood is always delicious. We return to Namory frequently, knowing that the food we are served will always be of the same high standard. How Chef Gu manages to single-handedly prepare, cook and serve beautiful food for a restaurant full of people is amazing. My husband is a devoted fan of the prawn dishes, while I enjoy a plate of kingfish or tuna sashimi, although I can be tempted to indulge in the Salt and Pepper Squid on occasion. We have been devoted fans of this restaurant since Chef Gu took over and we look forward to dining here frequently for a long time to come.

I was so glad we found Namory! The food was sensational, the ambience was perfect and we enjoyed a lovely family dinner. The chef also served us and I couldn’t fault anything. We will most definitely be back and no hesitation in recommending to anyone.
