Nama Sushi Bar- Knoxville
Malik was one of the better servers we have had ar Nama. Attentive but not bothersome.
The food is always good but it always takes a long time for the food to come out. We are fans but wish they could speed up the service o o
Food was delicious - not fond of the seating for a bigger party.
Good food...liked the vegetarian rolls. Only complaint is appetizer came out at same time as rolls. Other than that, food was great and prices not bad at all.
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because they don’t have coke products. 🤷🏻♀️
So good and fresh!!
Second time to Nama. Delayed slightly to get table despite reservation (told that reservation is not a guarantee), but completely worth the wait. Service was impeccable, food was delicious and well presented, and quantities were excellent for the price. We ordered seaweed salads, cold sake, assorted sashimi, two rolls, and mixed tempura. Good quantity for three people.
Conveniently located, reliable food with lots of choices. Everything we had was very good and the service was friendly and helpful... will definitely eat there again
We had a great experience at Nama. My boyfriend isn’t a huge sushi fan, but our waiter was very helpful and recommended a roll that he really liked! Good quality food and nice atmosphere.
I was disappointed. We have been to this restaurant in the past and had a great experience. This time the sushi was mediocre. The fish wasn’t great quality and there was a bone in a piece of sashimi.
Went for our anniversary. Good service and food was very good as well. Will definitely go again.
Always reliable with great food and food service!
We make it a regular stop when in Knoxville.
I love Nama. The atmosphere is relaxing. The waiters are always friendly. The Tempura roll is SO good. Please go there!
Wonderful time and meal!
We go to the symphony once a month and Nama’s is a favorite place to go.
African American guy checked us in with a bad face.
Waitress was very extra.
Nama Sushi Bar is one of our favorite places to dine when we visit our son at UT. The chef's special roll is a favorite dish as you get to input your preferences for the roll and the chef prepares a special roll based off of your suggestions. We will continue to dine at Nama for future visits to Knoxville.
We always enjoy going to Nama when we are in Knoxville. We made reservations on Open Table, and when we arrived, a mysterious group of six was given our table. The Nama staff quickly secured us another table as the restaurant got busier.
The service was great and so was the food! Thank you!
Visit with my daughter
Nama is one of if not the best sushi in Knoxville. It’s pricy but the quality is really wonderful and if you go on Monday or Thursday- their half price sushi rolls can not be beat in terms of flavour or price.
Great food. Service was slow. 15 minuets to get a drink. For those that don’t use chop sticks, they had limited availability of forks. Had to wait for them to wash forks before eating.
I always love namas! Their sushi is always spot on and i get thr flirtini drink its delicious. I also tried one of the hot nama bowls it wsa super yummy. Dont think i have ever gotten anything bad here.
Amazing sushi. We made a reservation, and would suggest it.
We went for half-price rolls, and they were amazing as always!
Nama always is worth a stop. Excellent service, fresh food. Sit in the bar area for over the top service and recommendations. Order a chef's choice plater and roll the dice on something different if your stuck in a sushi rut.
Excellent- as always.
My Californian son was in town, so hubby and I took him out to dinner before a movie at the Tennessee Theater. Nama was a great choice, as all of us enjoy different types of “sushi.” The flash fried calamari and dumpling appetizers were hot, fresh and tasty! My son and I ordered Nigiri and sushimi. All 4 varieties were fresh and prepared perfectly. My hubby enjoyed the sushi roll he ordered, even though he’s not a huge fan of raw anything! LOL. Our server was excellent and answered all of our menu questions, as well as a few questions about sights and events around the greater tourist area. I wish I could remember her name...so sweet, quick and helpful! Our overall experience was terrific.
Amazing! I'm gluten free and have yet to get sick here. They take extra care to make sure all that is in my sushi is safe for me. Great date night spot.
We had the mango hot sake for the first time...it was delish! Also got several rolls off the half price menu and the crab and asiago dip, all so good!! Our server was on her best game...can't wait to go back!!
I love the food at Nama's. I visit all of their locations. Their sushi is very fresh and the sauces are incredible. Great service and wonderful environment for dining.
Just the right amount of food prepared nicely.
Everything was great- rather pricey but worth it if you don’t go there much!
Always great experience
Surprisingly slow service. Very unusual for Nama. Usually they are excellent, but service this night was very slow.
Always a favorite when we are in Knoxville. The service members are nice. The food is consistently good. And it’s right in the middle of downtown Knoxville. Enjoy and have fun!
Everything at Nama's that night was right on. It was a wonderful restaurant.
Monday half price sushi is the best! Not to mention $5 glasses of house wine!
I always enjoy the food when I go there, I just wasn’t super thrilled about our rude host and that our server didn’t frequent our table.
My boyfriend waited quite some time for a beverage and it took some time to get our check; I understand everyone gets busy but our server literally looked lost in the back of the restaurant. Not really a sense of urgency.
Great vibe here, sweetest and very knowledgeable server!
Our food was good, but the sampler platter with the dumplings and spring rolls could use an upgrade. It was a little over-fried, and the spring rolls were uninteresting flavor-wise. We will try the calamari next time.
Excellent food and drinks, excellent service, I Iove Nama!!
