La comida estuvo muy buena, la atención fue deficiente. Fuimos en la semana del restaurant week. Una buena oferta gastronómica.
La verdad vale la pena comer en el sitio pero la atención puede mejorar
The foods and services are great. The restaurant is located near New York ave, very clean and good location.
I went to Nama for DC restaurant week on a date. The sashimi was good. The sushi rolls didn’t impress me. The miso soup was definitely just ok. On the menu, it says the dessert would be a cheesecake. However, it turned out to be a regular non impressive matcha cake.
The service was ok. I wasn’t happy that the staff brought the check and ask us to pay immediately after we finish our food. We still have our drinks at the time. I felt rushed and a bit annoyed.
Inside was very quiet and you can have a conversation without raising your voice for sure. As the food and service were just ok, I don’t think I will go back again.
The white wine was delicious! The seaweed salad was very good. The rest of the food was good but nothing I'd order again. Think sushi is not my favorite...
Loved the happy hour specials
Great time. Closed a bit early and without notice, but enjoyed everything!
It's just not very good sushi even though the staff was nice.
Fish not fresh, which is the kiss of death for a sushi restaurant
Fish was mediocre at best
It was ok, staff wasn’t very attentive. The good was still delicious. They forget the guests they seat outdoors.
Perfect dinnner! Excellent service! Excellent sushi
Slow service, not so good food, expensive for the experience and overall bad service
Waited abnormally long for ordering after being sat for both ordering drinks and food! However, food and such was worth it in the end! Ambience of inside was nice and food came out quickly
Best meal I've had in the DMV area. Went for a bday and they provided a cake which was very thoughtful and unexpected. The Tuna Signature Sashimi dish was easily the best dish, which got an audible "wow" from both my wife and me.
Service was really good. Food was delicious. Just add a little more salmon sushi/maki rolls if possible.
Take out would have saved on parking cost nearby. The entire setting felt rushed. Miso soup was great.
The Chef's specialties were really great. Incredible service. We will return again soon.
I’m often reluctant to give poor reviews, but this experience fell short. Sitting inside, we waited approximately an hour for our food despite a near empty dining room.
Great. Quiet. Not busy.
Really some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Very expensive though. Outdoor dining means a LOT of mosquitoes. Issues with servers. Would come and get takeout but would not recommend the experience
Had a great time celebrating my boyfriend's birthday at Nama. They did a great job taking care of us. I dinged the ambiance a little because some things just didn't make sense-- an Asian restaurant that plays almost entirely Latin music was a bit confusing. The rolls were beautiful and very tasty. We had a spicy scallop roll, a rainbow roll, and split a crab California roll. Would definitely go back again!
The Nama team made our 1st anniversary dinner so special! Thank you again!!
Food was good and our server despite being the only server at the restaurant tried his best.
Fresh & delicious sushi
Food was not great and overpriced, restaurant was empty and service was still awful.
There are many excellent sushi restaurants in the DC area. Nama rates around the middle. Nothing was especially great, but most everything was good. It was restaurant week, so they gave you a taste of everything. The desert was advertised as green tea cheesecake, but when it came out, it was just regular cake, and not a great one either. All in all a decent dinner, but not one I will repeat in the near future.
It appears that there was only one server serving the entire restaurant with the help of some food runners. Everything took forever due to our server needing to host, take to-go orders, answering the phone and serve dine-in customers. Once our server got to us, food and drinks did come out very quickly. It’s just super annoying to be completely finished with your appetizers and wait what seemed to be 15-20mins to put in our order for entrees. If you’re dining here, be prepared to wait.
Our favorite sushi spot in DC 10/10 every time
Well online says happy hour 5-7
The AC was not working and it was hotter inside than outside! The waiter was visibly upset about the temperature in the room. The food was good.
the service was absolute garbage but the food was EXCELLENT. better as a takeout place than eating-in
The food was good, but not worthy the value. $35 for a Chef session with a minimal portion.
Average experience with excellent food
Is Ok. I don’t recommend this local. The service isn’t good.
My new favorite spot. 10/10 will be back
I recommend Nama for datenight or Happy Hour. Sushi Happy Hour daily
Sat in kind of a nice tent area that was perfect for a private date. It was a bit cold but the food and drinks were great. A bit on the pricey side but not too bad.
The food was delicious- you have to try to tuna poke and their sake cocktails! It took a while to flag down a waiter to order more food and drinks even though it wasn’t very busy, but the food was so good that it almost didn’t matter.
Nana Sushi is great place. Might be a bit pricey for the current menu. But pretty nice overall.
