Sushi Happy Hour features an entire sushi food menu that is discounted to "happy hour" prices. If you are looking to eat a lot of sushi, this is a good way to bring a couple of friends and be very happy with the pricing of all dishes. Our food, fish and rice are of the exact same quality and type served during regular dinner hours. Matching the food, there are great cocktail and sake offerings. We also invite you to be able to enjoy any of the Alta Strada Happy Hour cocktails as well! It's a win-win deal. Sushi happy hour ends at 6pm, which means that any orders after 6pm must be from the dinner menu etc.

We had the happy hour sushi and it was good. Server was attentive. Service was quick. Second round of sushi rolls’ rice was too mushy; too much water perhaps. Overall, good for the price.

We had an amazing time at Nama. The head chef has the classic rolls down and his specials were incredible. We were able to sit at the bar and chat with him most of the night. Highly recommended if you can grab a bar seat.

I had about the most unwelcoming experience ever, and was very much looking forward to dining here after really enjoying the restaurant for last year’s restaurant week. I entered the restaurant without a reservation seeking a solo seat at the sushi bar, emboldened by recent news articles about women taking themselves out. The restaurant was about 40 percent full, with a number of seats at the bar. I was told they were booked and maybe something would open in 2 hours, at 8:45. I left the restaurant determined to have sushi and turned to OpenTable for a reservation — and wouldn’t you know, one was available here in 30 minutes? So I made a reservation. About 15 minutes after doing so the reservation changed to 2 people without explanation. I showed up for my reservation to a restaurant about 60 percent full, and asked why my reservation was changed to 2. The hostess pretended not to understand me. I sat next to a group of three having dessert (if seated when I originally wanted I could have filled a “solo”’seat, and I understand a restaurant preferring tables for two to maximize profit). Soon after, two people without a reservation were seated next to me. I ate a sub-par meal — much less fresh than last year, and the fish was dressed up to hide this. I was out before anyone else who was there when I came. Thanks for shaming a recently divorced, single diner. I will not be back here or at any of your affiliated restaurants (all of which I’ve eaten at) and will be spreading the word. Perhaps this is what you are going for. Mission accomplished.

Excellent Service- gave great recommendations and were the perfect level of attentiveness. Environment was intimate yet fun, the small details of decoration(iron man helmet for example) made me and my date laugh. Food was incredible, and I highly recommend ordering the house sauces to mix and match!

Sat outside on the perfect day! Not many people there by 6:15pm during the week, but we had a reservation. Ordered the tempura shrimp which was rock shrimp. It was so good we ordered another. We also got three sushi rolls, all of which were delicious. On the pricier side, as expected with sushi.

Very disappointing. Mostly rolls, not very good ones stuffed with overcooked rice. Service lackadaisical. This is not the place to come for sushi. Prices are high for the quality. Definitely not worth a trip across town.

The maki rolls were really good! So was the matcha tiramisu. This place should improve their cocktails though- I ordered a vodka cocktail that was served room temperate and in a champagne flute? The edamame was undercooked too which was unfortunate for $8. But would come back for sushi & dessert.

Came here for winter restaurant week. At $40 for the 3 course prefix dinner menu it's not only an excellent value but the food is also of excellent quality. The entree platter of sashimi, nigiri and maki rolls is substantial and a great sampler of what the restaurant has to offer. In comparison it's sister restaurant's higher priced RW dinner offering was a lot less in every way.

Nama has great ambience but the service and quality was pretty average. For the price point I would expect the sushi to be a little more flavorful/adventurous. In addition the service was pretty slow. It took the two of us 2.5 hours from the time we sat down to when we left to order, receive our food and finally our bill.

Nice enough restaurant. The food was good (very pretty), but highly overpriced. $6 for a Miso Soup? $20 for a Maki Roll? I would not recommend due to the lack of value. Sushi doesn't go far, and the bill adds up quickly. Also to note is the 20% fixed gratuity.

The server was good and attentive, but i gave 3 stars because they bring you a digital check on a device with the tip pre chosen (or highly recommended) , and the server stands there and watches you. I never saw the check, just the total and tip - but i like to quantify it. I miss the privacy of a paper check being given to you. But our server was attentive. The Sushi was very high quality, and inventive. Nama is connected to a different restaurant next door. Shared music, restrooms, etc. Interesting layout. I would go again, but would need to ask the server to bring a paper check.

The food here was beautiful and delicious. The service was on point. The only minor negatives were that it was loud, so we couldn’t really share a conversation. Would definitely go again, though!
