Food and ambiance were great. Our server was not as attentive as should have been. Our apps were late and she told us she sent them to another table. I’m surprised we were not given some sort of compensation for the wait and the oversight. The sommelier was wonderful however!!!!
The music was awful, service was not great and they sat us right next to another couple when there was plenty of room elsewhere. It was awkward. Food was pretty good but expensive. Cocktails were good but also very expensive. I expect better service for the price.
Amazing amazing amazingly
Probably one of the best restaurants in Boston ever. I had a great experience. All the dishes were amazing and the decor was magnificent. Would highly recommend.
Loved it, servers were supper attentive and food was great! Would order more though, pretty small portions.
The whole fish was delicious. Cocktails were great. The fusion sauces are creative but perhaps trying to compromise too much.
great restaurant, awesome decor, and nice atmosphere with good food and drinks
Service was excellent, food excellent , decor was beautiful, cocktails were creative and also very good ! Highly recommend Nahita!
I was excited to try this place but I have to say I did not find it as beautiful as the reviews says. The food is Ok but not wow. There is not like nice energy at this place. They need to get their game up.
The food and service were fine, but not worth the nearly twenty-minute ordeal of getting seated--with a reservation!
Service was terrible. Our server barely came around and there were long gaps where we couldn’t order food or drinks... Randomly, the restaurant became freezing about an hour after we arrived. Not a fan.
Great food and beautiful decor. Would definitely go back!
Was so looking forward to trying this place. Unfortunately, had terrible service, and the food was so-so. Realized after getting home that 2 dishes we ordered actually never were delivered, but we were still charged for them. Has the potential for being a great spot, but I don't think I'll go back, given our recent experience.
A beautiful place but the food is narrow in range and overpriced and the service was really bad -- the waitress barely knew the menu and was slow/non-existent. There are other restaurants in Boston that serve a similar genre of food that are both more delicious and a pleasure to eat at.
Get the duck for the table w mole
The restaurant was pretty and the food was decent, but very over-priced. Further the service was terrible! We had to remind the waiter to bring our glass of wine that we ordered. No apologies were given when he forgot the wine. We also had to ask to have our glasses of water re-filled. Very expensive dining experience for little value and bad service - don't go!
I planned on going for dinner at nahita with my boyfriend for his 30th birthday.
Table was late 20 minutes. We were seated at first in an area that was freezing cold. I couldn’t take my jacket off. They changed our seat twice till we got a warmer corner. Still couldn’t take my jacket off. Food arrived at first, mediocre, dry, unseasoned mostly. The tacos never arrived an hour later, with leftover cold food on our table - we asked the waiter where are our tacos ? They arrived 20 minutes later. No one ever comes to take the order in time. Anyway , overall terrible experience , would not go again 100% we got the tacos for free - as compensation- but 30th birthday evening ruined, thanks
I had high hopes for this restaurant and I think it has the ability to get there, but for now, the menu is pretty eclectic with nothing standing out. It felt more like a restaurant that caters to business dinners in which people will overpay with expense accounts. Better value can be found elsewhere.
The food was great. The quest funded with chorizo was wonderful. The halibut tacos were excellent
I was very disappointed with our experience. While some of the food was great, some of it was under seasoned. The wait staff needs a lot more training; especially for such a pricey menu. I made management aware of our issues during our experience, and they were responsive, but I wouldn’t spend my $200 there again.(dinner for 2)
The ambience is wonderful and the bar is beautiful! Food is fantastic and worth the price
The restaurant’s hall looks beautiful and the images of it are what attracted me to Nahita. Unfortunately the experience couldn’t keep up with the looks.
I arrived 15 minutes early and was asked to wait at the bar, which was fine, but I was not seated until 15 minutes past my reservation time.
The dining room is ok, but does not have the high ceiling of the hall.
Many people were eating in their coats as it was really cold inside. When I asked the host about the temperature she said that it was due to the low temperatures outside and that they have been asked to turn up the heating by other guests and would try. Nothing happened.
I ordered a mint tea as I was so cold, but the tea was only luke warm and cost me $5.50. The waiter also forgot to offer sugar.
The food was decent, but not extraordinary. The duck confit could also have been warmer as everything in the restaurant: room temperature, tea and service.
Easily one of the best and most interesting food in Boston. Very interested to see how this restaurant develops as it moves from a brand new restaurant and goes through a couple menu revisions. Definitely plan to go again soon.
I went into our dining experience with expectations that the service was going to be bad and the food was going to good but not amazing. Both were wrong. Our service was excellent. Our waiter and his staff was extremely attentive and the food was amazing. We ordered a nice combination of Japanese (Sashimi) and South American dishes. All were outstanding. The cocktails and wine list was also great. I guess my only negative was that the “elote” corn which is a South American grilled corn, wasn’t good at all. They use small baby corn and the taste and flavor is just extremely off with this type of corn for the dish. Otherwise it is excellent in terms of service, food and drinks!
Terrific, accommodating service for guests with food intolerances. Unique Peruvian/Asian twist with terrific seafood. Come often enough and you may earn a special invite!
I have never written a review before. If I had a bad time, I don't want to waste more.
If I had a good time, I would be too tipsy. I'm making an exception here, because I want
to waste more tipsy time at Nahita -- is that ok with you?
I have dined and wined over the world (of course most reviewers say that and most of them are not even wrong because you have no idea what they meant by "world", or even "dined" or "wined" ), but I have never been to a place three times in a month because I wanted to.
If you are a cocktail fanatic, ask for Fred, the master mixologist (but don't ask where he got this Ph.D. in Biochemistry, because I know most of you hate the X-bomb). Challenge him with your mixed fantasies, whether old fashioned and bloody and soured and fizzy, or Cuban and French and Manhattan and Moscow (Mule, not Muel...) . Yes, you can slurp a warm sake while tasting uni shot and still feeling like a virgin tea leaf on the stormy long island, wondering if Fosco Sacrselli ever had a Freudian sip ...
If you are not, ask for Henry. But again, don't ask what bombs he carries -- I didn't. All I (and you should) care is that the he does not recommend any fruit bomb. You won't find any (unless you beg). Yet you will find the last few bottles of Puttonyos 5, and they surely will help you to sort out which side is Buda and which is Pest.
And if you ever wonder about whether it should be Peking duck or Beijing duck, forgo breakfast and lunch, or find two friends (or a couple) who have been struggling between being a vegetarian and a pescetarian. Order the $85 duck for the whole table --- you've just saved everyone a trip to Peking or Beijing (and avoid all the tariff). Who knows, you might also have accidentally made you friends' lives easier or more complicated: Nahitarian.
But if you are offended by anything comes with legs, choose the "29 style". Whatever your life style is, these Turkish meatballs surely will make your life rounder ...
Excellent variety of Latin sushi and sebiche--my tuna sebiche was delicious. You can go small plate or starter/main here with plenty of choices either way. Overall, not surprisingly, the cuisine is on the spicy side.
Attractive bar, partly separate, partly in the dining area, with several custom cocktails. Good wine list though too many of the French wines are very ($150+) expensive. Appealing desserts. Excellent and unobtrusive service. Not cheap.
Drinks and desserts were amazing
service was awful, waitress totally forgot about us
Dinner took 2,5 hours
Beautiful, lovely ambiance but extremely disappointed by the service - not sure if management is still working out its "new opening" kinks or they were simply understaffed/unprepared but our service was terrible - extremely slow to approach us at the bar and table. I was in a party of three; we ordered the whole fish, beef barbacoa, and the squash w/ mushrooms. I thoroughly enjoyed the squash but the beef was too dry and not value for money. Once we seated, it took quite a while (over ten minutes!) before our server approached us asking to take drink orders. Would've better spent my time and money down the street at Mistral.
Surprising carefully crafted delicious food
The food was mediocre at best, especially given the price. The cocktails were way too sweet. The wait staff was not very attentive and not knowledgeable at all about the menu. Also this is a little thing, but they didn’t change our plates and silverware between courses. Given how expensive the place is, they should at least do that.
Not great. Poorly trained staff. Cold food at very high price point . Not to return for a while .
We had a phenomenal fixed menu @ Nahita for New Years Eve dinner it was an amazing experience!
Limited menu due to it being NYE. Accept that fact, but $20 for one octopus tentacle which is supposed to be a shareable?? Wanted to order the beef tenderloin but was told the chef would only prepare it medium rare. When does the chef dictate how I want my beef cooked? Service far below the standards I would expect from such a restaurant. First one waiter then a second and back to the first. Water glasses not kept full. Finished wine and took far too long for them to come back and check if we wanted another. Acted indifferent to our table while doting on another table. Maybe because we didn’t order the pre fixe menu?? No “thank you for coming or anything of the like”. I reluctantly tipped 15%. Should have been less but having been in the hospitality industry couldn’t bring myself to go lower.
Amazing blend of Japanese/Peruvian cuisine by a Turkish chef - fresh, creative, beautifully balanced flavors in a gorgeous setting. Must go.
Had a wonderful night out with friends. Service was great. Everyone very knowledgeable and sommelier helped pick out wine. Food was delicious and space was beautiful.
One of the best meals I have ever had!!! Interesting, new, amazing food. Service was excellent!!
Best melt-in-your-mouth salmon sahimi I have ever had in my life (and we recently had the omakase at O Ya!). The space is very cool- although we unfortunately were sat in the far corner of the restaurant with the low ceilings by the cold windows away from the action. Kind of a bummer for an anniversary date night (turned into a proposal!) but not like the restaurant was aware of that beforehand so not their fault. The tacos were also amazing and the cranberry bog cocktail was delicious. I will say it was difficult to get our servers was not very attentive to see if we wanted another drink so the meal felt quick, then was hard to find her to pay. We will definitely be back though and sit at the bar that looked very cool!
Overpriced, very small portions. Service took forever even though there was only one other group in the restaurant
Excellent tasty meal
