A markedly international approach to fine dining, Nahita combines Asian and Latin American cuisines with Turkish influences. Nahita specializes in playfully sophisticated dishes like tacos made with organic heirloom corn from Oaxaca and fillings like Spicy Uni. The shareable For the Table menu includes grilled 28 Day Dry-Aged Black Angus Porterhouse, Whole Rack of Lamb, and Mirin-Braised Whole Duck. Sunday Brunch features items like breakfast tacos, Shakshuka, sticky buns.

This was the second time I came to Nahita and had terrible service. The first time, I came with a small group of coworkers and sat in the front bar area. It took over 20 minutes for a server to come over to us and another 20 for our drinks to come from the bar. The staff wasn’t consistent, we had to keep grabbing whoever walked by. It didn’t seem that anyone was making an effort to serve us. But we were just getting apps and drinks, so we made due with grabbing whoever was standing by the bar.

I decided to give Nahita one more chance last night. I brought a friend from out of town, my aunt, and my husband for dinner. My aunt‘s drink came out wrong and when she asked just for it to be corrected, the waitress said ‘sure’ as if it was an inconvenience and stormed away.

My husband ordered off the vegetarian menu a stir fry dish. A salad showed up instead. When he asked our waitress if it was the stir fry, she insisted it was, even though it was missing major components of that dish. When she left, a manager walked by and we asked him. He apologized and said it was a salad, not the stir fry. He took the dish away and 30 minutes later returned with the same meal, on a different shaped plate, with peppers added on top. The ‘stir fry’ was so salty, he couldn’t eat the grains that came with it and ultimately just ate the vegetables that were layered on top.

We didn’t see our waitress again until she came back to offer us dessert. No apologies for bringing the wrong dish and then claiming it was the right dish, no check in on how the food was, nothing.

My aunt ordered a glass of wine toward the end of her meal and they brought out a fresh glass, then didn’t return with the wine for another 20 minutes. The service has consistently been so bad, slow, inconsistent, and ill-informed that I would be hard pressed to ever return. It’s such a shame because the restaurant is beautiful but service is everything and they can’t deliver. Not worth the price for the hassle.

The room is beautiful and the food is amazing. We ordered several plates to share and loved everything we ordered. Can't wait to go back!

Service was absolutely horrendous. Waiter was rude, messed up our order, did not care to answer questions, and never came back to the table after the food was served. Meal was mediocre and very overpriced. $19 for two bland tacos? Unfortunate as the space is quite nice.

May want to look somewhere else - was very disappointed by the place. The service was mediocre at best, had to wait long time to get a drink before dinner and had to flag someone down for attention. The menu is all over the place, tough to figure out what they are going for. Plastic plant on the table was tacky, our main entree came out cold, bread from one of the appetizers was very stale, felt like it has been sitting out for days. Don't think i will be visiting here again

Service was slow, food came out cold. Felt rushed. The salmon tasted fishy. For the prices their charging I expected more. But the ambiance and decor is incredible, so it would be great for just a cocktail.

From the moment we sat down, I struggled to find something i wanted to eat off the brunch menu. I have had several outstanding meals at dinner, but the citation in this brunch menu was not well done. It is as if the person solely considered what they wanted to eat and did not consider that not everyone eats eggs and meat. For a restaurant that is known for its tiraditos and ceviche, to have no fish offerings was bizarre. And how do people with fresh eggs run out of breakfast tacos? The food came out at weird intervals so half our food got cold while we waited for food to come out that should have been the first prepared. Even our drinks came out with noticeable and unacceptable delays. At this price point, we should have felt we had a great meal. Instead we wished we had just gone over to Flour. Truly a terrible brunch experience that will not be repeated.

We had a great time, went with a friend, who happens to be a bit picky about good service. So, I was a bit concerned due to negative reviews about slow service. But the service was great and we enjoyed it, definitely will go back.

Yes although $10 for a taco (maybe the mushroom one) is not a good value. Enjoyed the meal thoroughly and realized that the price is partly a function of the location. I think that they should open a restaurant in Portland and cut the prices by about 30-40%.

It's very hard to review Nahita because for all intents and purposes, the quality and taste of the food was excellent, and the service was fine (nothing over the top, but certainly nice). But it's hard to justify it for the price point, especially when you have competing restaurants that are even more formal at the same prices.

My husband and I ordered one drink each, an appetizer, and a few orders of the tacos. Everything was delicious, but the final price was $140. For tacos! We've spend just as much at fancy steakhouses where you are served hand and foot and this is not that kind of experience. Even my cocktail was substantially more than other nearby restaurants ($17 for a gin cocktail where the high-end standard is $12-14).

The ambiance is beautiful, but not overly formal. The crab and barbacoa tacos were definitely tasty. But for that price and that portion, I'm sorry...I probably won't be coming back.

Unfortunately this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Great concept but horrendous execution. This restaurant is entirely mismanaged. The service was so horrible that we ended up leaving and going to another restaurant.

I wanted so much to love this place but I really didn't. My partner and I chose this place to celebrate my 40th birthday. We met at Liquid Art House and thought Nahita would be a charming callback since it's in the same location. We have also had drinks there before and like it. I made a reservation on open table and I was excited to go.

I checked in at the hostess stand and she told me that she saw the reservation, but since it's open seating at the bar, she didn't bother to reserve me a seat. True the bar wasn't full that day, but I made a reservation so can you at least do your job?

The bartender was nice, but she simply wasn't congenial. There wasn't a greeting when we sat down. We had to ask for a drink menu. We told her we were ordering food so I guess she didn't think we wanted a drink menu? We were told that 3 of the craft cocktails were out since they were changing the menu. But she didn't give us any other recommendations and just walked away. I ordered a drink and my partner ordered a hot tea, which wasn't warm.

We ordered 3 dishes, which were tasty. However, my duck carnitas had a hair in it. The chef came over to apologize and offered to send us dessert. We weren't asked again if we wanted anything else and I had finished eating for about 20 minutes before the bartender cleared our dishes. I feel like a good bartender would ask us if we wanted anything more, which I would have happily ordered as the food was great. We finally asked for the check and she said that the chef was sending us a dessert. Another 15 minutes later, we were willing to leave but the dessert finally came out. The made to order dessert was some truffles and cake. It was very good, but shouldn't have taken this long to get to us, especially as we were already upset with hair in my food.

This place is full of promise but didn't deliver at all. Food and drink was great (minus the hair) but the service left a lot to be desired.

Bonus: my partner told me that he tried to call

We were seated 45 min after our reservation. Then maybe sat another 10 minutes before our waiter came over to take our order. After asking for some recommendations his response to most things were “it’s pretty good.” We waited awhile before getting our drinks, and our waiter never offered us water. There was a dish missing that we ordered and he never came back to check if we needed anything. Actually, mid way through dinner we had a new waitress. We ordered some more drinks with our new waitress and she quickly came back to tell us they didn’t have a mixer for one of the drinks we ordered. Okay fine, no problem we ordered something else along with dessert. We waited another 20 minutes before we received our second round of drinks by a different server. The waitress apologized for the delay and said these drinks would be complimentary. The food was decent but did not correlate with the pricing or service provided.

NOISY! Don't go here if you are over 50 or value your hearing. Food was very good (excellent sashimi and salad, good cebiche, soggy tacos) but conversation was impossible and we left without coffee or dessert just to rest our ears. One very nice staff member confessed she is almost deaf by the the time she leaves each evening -- OSHA should look into this place! If you do go, the noise is a little less overwhelming in the central area with a very high ceiling. There it is merely painful; elsewhere it is overwhelming.
Minor note: the very dark stairway down to the restrooms feels like a descent into Hades, although the men's room is quite bright and cheerful if you get there in one piece.

Unfortunately disappointed by Nahita. The food was pretty good, nothing special. Very expensive for the serving sizes. Only things that I would recommend were the cocktails and the elote.

The service was very discombobulated. We ordered 4 tacos, but they forgot two of them, and then had to reorder the others, causing the first half of our group to be done eating before the second even got their meals. Something weird was happening with the staff, it seemed that the manager was trying to micro-manage everything but was actually just making things worse.

This restaurant has a very cool atmosphere but HORRIBLE service!! We had a reservation for brunch and when we arrived we were taken to two 2-top tables. When we said we were a party of 5 the MANAGER told us we could push the tables together. When we asked her if sushi from the sushi bar was available her response was ...”they will
Make anything in the menu.” When we asked her to explain the squash entree she said “ I am just a manager you’ll have to ask your server.” My son order an ice tea that did not arrive for 30 minutes. All the entrees came out separate and are VERY SMALL. My husband ordered duck tacos and they had bones in them!!!Waitstaff was no where to be seen and obviously untrained. We were so bummed about our experience and won’t go back!!

ehhhh overrated. I was excited to try this place but ultimately I feel like they're trying too hard. Food is okay but definitely overpriced. Portions are small and the meats come as is. Personally, I can't eat meat by itself (I ordered the Beef). Yes there was some tiny itty bitty mushrooms but they're so small its basically the meat by itself and nothing else. BEAUTIFUL Interior but ultimately, I wouldn't care to go back.

The Restaurant is beautiful...but the rest of the experience was extremely disappointing. Poor service. Slow, and inexperienced staff. Food horrible. From the calamari that came out at room temp, to the tiny tacos. The halibut tacos were disgusting and inedible. Food was overpriced and didn’t taste good. No one asked how our experience was.....there are many great places to eat in Boston, skip this one.

Food was fun, but priced too high for the overall results. Super noisy including the extra loud somalier who couldn't stop talking to the table over from us, repeatedly coming back to regale his latest story to them, and he was so amazingly loud that we could not hear ourselves. Management should have caught that and stopped him, but they didn't.

We went for brunch and we were all quite happy with our food choices, the only thing we whined about was the portions were way way too small. If we had been informed of the small portions, we would have ordered at least 8 plates to share for four people, but the servers were lovely and as I said food and drinks really good.

We sat at the bar to eat. The food was very good, but the bartender seemed overwhelmed, and there were only about 10pp at the bar. We had to ask a few servers to help us with the menu, and the server they sent over had only been there for 3 weeks, needless to say, we figured things out on our own. Beautiful space, and maybe if we sat at a table the experience would have been better.

The food and drinks were good but really expensive. Too expensive for what we got. Also our server borderline forgot about us multiple times. And the mushroom taco was one of the worst things I’ve eaten. The calamari and butternut squash tacos were good, as well as the quinoa salad and guac. We tried a bunch of apps and small plates instead of getting entrees. Good gluten free options.

Fabulous again, was in the mood for a cocktail and light dinner. The guacamole with homemade chips was a generous delicious portion. The Nahita cerbiche platter was also generous and spectacular! The decor is inviting and comfortable. Cocktails were great !
Service was terrific. We found everybody warm and friendly. I couldn’t decide which cocktail I wanted, so I got a taste of one and another and then I made my choice. lock stock. It was great.

While the food was great, the host was incredibly rude. When we arrived at our reservation, he wanted to sit us in the bar. I stated that I wanted to sit in the actual restaurant and asked if there was a table there. He flatly stated no. I stated that I had made a reservation months in advance and that it was my three year anniversary and I was disappointed I had not been told in advance that I would not be given a restaurant table. I asked if I could wait and he said they would have nothing and it would be over an hour and a half. I found that to be unlikely, given that it was 8:30, and stated so. He said I could wait at the bar. We waited at the bar for roughly 30 minutes, and in the meantime, I watched him sit three other couples in the main restaurant and not the bar table, which I found incredibly frustrating. Finally, we were sat at a table in the restaurant, and I thanked him for assisting us. Towards the end of the night, I went to the host stand to request a cake for my anniversary. The same host stated “we don’t do cakes,” which is flat out ridiculous given that there was a birthday at the table next to me. I then asked if they did anything else and he annoyingly told me they would take care of it. He proceeded to come over and literally drop a flan off at the table, in a truly rude fashion. He was disrespectful and in the future I will be taking my $400 plus dollars to a restaurant that actually appreciates its customers business.
