Restaurant was closed for renovations & I flew in from San Francisco for an important business meal!!!
The place was nice and quirky. The shortening I had was outstanding. However, it was oddly empty when we went. The menu is good but very limited.
The restaurant was closing for “renovations “ the next day, which i did not knOw until the bare tender told me. For a Saturday evening it was pretty quiet. They did not have much offerings at the bar, limited choices for wine. The food was good, kind of limited menu too. The service was slow. The table next to us got up & left after getting water. The waiter was very pleasant but he was running around as it was him & one other waitress. I wish I had known about the closure, as I would have picked a different restaurant.

We were the only patrons in the whole restaurant which set an awkward stage. Very large space and high ceilings with white walls and large colorful art pieces. Food was ok, nothing memorable. I think they’re trying too hard.
Granted it was a Tuesday eve. The place was empty. The bartender had to look up how to make a Gimlet. Took forever to get our food which was mediocre . All the staff was very young and seemed to lack experience . The dumplings were a great sad disappointment the pork chop was nice. Presentation was boring .
Server was not familiar with the food or drink menu. Often made up answers, leading us to ask another server for assistance.
We chose the Liquid Art House, to celebrate our anniversary, on a recent visit to Boston. After a long day of travel, we had planned an early dinner, and when we arrived practically had the entire dining room and staff to ourselves. I panicked, thinking that the restaurant must be a problem... but my fears were put to rest by the end of the first course. We followed the suggestions of our server and were delighted with his suggestions. Everything from the cocktails, to the appetizers, salads and entrees... were innovative, prepared with fresh ingredients to perfection. The restaurant began to fill as we enjoyed a relaxing, romantic dinner... followed by a dessert set on an anniversary greeting written in chocolate, from the chef. Before we left, we circled the restaurant to check out all of the art that covered the walls throughout... noting that we should have done so when we first arrived (before it got busy!).
Our server was one of the most gracious, warm, attentive waiters we have have had. All in all, the dinner - and our anniversary, was amazing. Thank you Liquid Art House!
Loved the concept of an art gallery/restaurant but it did not live up to expectations. Service was just ok. some things we asked for never made it to the table. Steaks were very chewy and overpriced but the burrata appetizer was delicious. Not very busy on a Saturday night. Might be better place/experience for a bigger event than just a night out. Not worth the money.
For the price, I expect better. It was deserted. The staff seemed disinterested. The food was fine, but hardly special.
I have been here a few times and really enjoy it. The art work is fun and gives a lot of energy to the atmosphere. The drinks were really special, decorated with real fresh flowers. I had something with cucumber basil and some other ingredients that were fresh and fun! The food was great, every mouthful a burst of flavor! try the dumplings... and anything with pickled salad or veggies. The sorbet was very good, flavors were inventive and fun. It's a great place, we will be back.
Service was great, the bar was out of a drink I wanted, which happens, and was fine. But the bartender made a new batch and surprised me by bringing it to the dining room for me. The servers are all very attentive and outgoing and engaging.
I'm a foodie and I love trying out new restaurants for their food & of course their drinks but the food here was presentable but it needs work with how it's cooked and seasoned. Other than that great location and scenery.
Food was excellent. It was quiet because we had the restaurant portion to ourselves for at least the first 20 minutes and then two other groups were sat before we left. The bar area was quiet lively.
My only complaint is with the beverage costs. I ordered an Arnold Palmer (lemonade and ice tea), the waiter charged us as if I ordered two drinks, I had the equivalent of one beverage. He adjusted the bill once I questioned it even though he felt he billed me correctly as I had lemonade and ice tea. We were also surprised to find a charge for a refill on my husband's ice tea.
The server Aphil Ba (as shown on the check) was wearing a strong cologne as if you could taste it. The dumplings he highly recommended was bland, peruvian ceviche- fish was not fresh. We asked to cxl the ceviche coz fishy taste was so strong. Instead of saying sorry he tried to tell us that there are different style of ceviche. I wanted to point out that you advertised Peruvian Ceviche, told him the flavor was really good but the fish is not fresh. He still continued. He took it talked to the cook/chef came back and tried to educate us some more. I told him to cxl everything else. Manager came to apologize we told him what happened. He said the server shouldn't be wearing a cologne at all and his approach shouldn't have been that way.

The AC was not working and it was uncomfortably hot! Had we been told up front we would have left. That said we kept thinking the food would make up for it -- but it didn't. Waitress was very nice and surroundings nice, but food very mediocre. Definitely NOT fine dining. Nothing artistic or different about the food. Do not expect to be pleasantly surprised with new techniques or flavors. A chain restaurant could serve same food.

I was intrigued to go here because I knew the Clark Gallery had an art display. I liked the concept of combining art and great food. It did not disappoint. The art was wonderful, the layout of the restaurant was wonderful, not too crowded with tables. The bar area was very attractive and had comfy couches also. The ambience, aside from the special exhibit, was amazing. The staff were friendly and nice. The small plates were very ample for 2 people, we shared 4 plates, all were amazing. A bit pricey but worth it. I can't wait to go back.
Delicious dumplings and great atmosphere
Horrible service. We were party of 4 and they forgot to put in an entree. The 3 of us waited & waited & finally (30 min) manager came over to apologize that entree order was never given to kitchen. Food was delicious but evening ruined by the service & waiting. They comp'd us 4 desserts & the lost entree.
I was by myself for a conference and had so much fun wandering around the restaurant, watching people getting body paint for a Pride weekend fundraiser and enjoying my meal (though server wasn't great)! Wonderful place and I'd love to return!

It's the kind of restaurant you go to once and likely not go again. For me this was my 2nd time. It's a pseudo art gallery with Asian influenced cuisine served as if the plate was an artist's canvas. The food is ok but a little pricey so not a very good value, which is why I said it's the kind of place you go once. Our server was amazing. The ambiance is very cool.
food was decent and expensive and cocktail list is very good! However last call for food was at 10pm which is quite early for a friday night...

Welcome to 1995! The art is atrocious, but really, the biggest crime here is the food. The prices (many entrees over $40) suggest a thoughtful menu; however, this is not the case. The Brussels sprouts appetizer was a mish mash of tastes. The sprouts themselves were cooked to perfection, but then inexplicably, they were doused with sauce that tasted like it came in a plastic tear pouch from your local Chinese place. The ceviche was so sour it was not edible. Surprisingly, this was the dish recommended by the server. The halibut entree was about as boring as it gets. Nothing special here. All of this food could be had at any plain vanilla chain restaurant. Really, save your money and go to Seasons 52 instead.

Took my Mom & 7-y-o daughter to brunch for Mother's Day. Food was great, staff was SO nice. The decor is really special and engaging. There's enough room between tables to deliver privacy. Food was really good, nice small interesting twists here and there - burger with maitake mushrooms and carmelized onions was superb. Hope to go back soon.
We had a very nice Mother's Day Brunch. Good food with lots of unique art to strike up the conversation. We will be back!
Every item was awesome
Unique concept and really good menu options. Presentation was also great but taste and execution fell short on several dishes that we ordered. Seasoning was off on some things, temperate was off on another. Simple fixes that the restaurant can make. Also, our waiter was friendly but his knowledge of the menu was lacking a bit. We would come back again, but it's not on our list of favorites.
Despite the hype on some of the websites - the food was really quite average and the prices were quite high resulting in very low value. The steaks were really not tender and some of the sides were really below average.
The artwork and decor was interesting, but the entire setting lacked warmth and I had a sense that maintenance was poor. In addition, the restaurant was quite deserted.
What a wonderful experience to just enter Liquid Art. There was an instant small on our faces as we looked at the wonderful art, decor and lighting. It was fresh, exciting and fascinating. It only got better as we tasted the creative food from the kitchen. Everything the four of us ordered was outstanding. It was our first time there but we will be back soon.

Food was excellent, the restaurant was quiet as it was a Monday night but still had a good atmosphere.
Had high hopes for this place because I was intrigued by the concept. The space, service and art was terrific but the food was very mediocre which was disappointing given the price point. (With the exception of the pork dumplings which were out of this world.) I might come back to the bar for a drink again sometime and to look at the art but I probably won't return to dine here again.
My experience at L.A.H was everything a restaurant owner would dream of hearing about. I'm so excited to tell friends and family about how amazing this restaurant is! The waitress provided us with the best service I've received in years. I would recommend it to anyone interested in the intricate details of art and cocktails.
Especially enjoyed international foods, such as Lithuanian dumplings and those with Tibetan influence.
