At the Nag’s Head we are passionate about food and the excellent quality produce that is available locally. The majority of our food is freshly prepared and cooked from ‘farm to fork’ by our Head Chef Andy Millard and his enthusiastic kitchen team. Our menu is varied and seasonal, appealing to all tastes and includes Chef Specials, favourite traditional “pub classics” and Sunday roasts. We cater for different palettes and today’s changing tastes including children, vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. As our dishes are prepared and cooked in house, we can usually accommodate most dietary needs.We pride ourselves on serving locally produced real ales. Our ales come from the excellent local microbreweries and are of a very high quality. We offer a range of good quality wines and spirits to compliment our menu.

near weekly dinner @ Nags Head , Great choice of specials , went for meat balls , Brisket , and Pavlova , all perfect , good beers , wine and service , and a pint by the river to start ,cant fault !

Absolutely great. Food was delicious, the staff were really helpful and accommodating, nice beer on tap. The atmosphere was great as well, very friendly pub that nicely splits the difference between a local rural bar and a restaurant. Highly recommended.

Another lovely visit to the Nags Head. Sunday lunch is always good. Plenty of food and freshly cooked. The pub building is traditional but comfortable. Staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend a visit

we ate Sunday lunch at the Nags Head recently and everything about the venue, staff and food was outstanding. Flavours were great, service was very attentive and obliging, good value for money. We will return soon.

Consistently great food from the kitchen of this country pub. Friendly, efficient & prompt service as always and a fresh menu on a regular basis. Chicken parfait was lifted by fabulous home-made chutney, the chorizo risotto under the hake fillet was amazing - cheesy & rich. The little details simply lift the dishes well above “pub grub”.
