Nada, you need more service staff to avoid upsetting customers. When service staff are committed to too many tables, it’s just a matter of time before customers complain about missing food, drinks, utensils, etc. You also need more bartenders. Your delicious drinks take time to make from scratch, and a single bartender to take care of the entire restaurant AND the bar just won’t do. Our visit for dinner on October 24 was not satisfactory due to the issues identified above. The service staff was trying but there was only so much they could do.
Very good food et very nice service.
Food and drinks were good but need more options in both categories. The menu is very confusing.
Thank you so much to our incredible waiter Yashi for an amazing meal and impeccable service! And thank you to both Yashi and manager Heather for the beautiful dessert platter and adorable onesies for our two upcoming arrivals! It was so unexpected and very much appreciated! Looking forward to dining at Nada again very soon!
Good food. Fun ambiance. Our server Yashi was great
Recommend the Nadarita margarita.
Mexico City Ceviche with plantain chips was excellent.
If you like lamb, go for the lamb barbacoa
It is not a very extensive menu but the food items that we had were all great! The drinks were good too! The Tres Leche cake was very good!
I was pretty excited to dine here but to be honest, I did not enjoy my food. The queso was the best thing I had but the chips were not my favorite. I ended up ordering two quesos because I didn’t want anything else.
I also tried the chicken tacos. There was a bitter flavor to the chicken. Unfortunately it left much to be desired. Was also hoping for the sangria to have been a bit sweeter. The ambiance was lovely though and served for a nice place for me to reconnect with my friend. But otherwise I probably will not go back. There are too many other similar style restaurants that have food I enjoy more. I still recommend that others try this place and determine for themselves, but it didn’t do anything for my taste buds.
Not much of a brunch menu. Food was good. Need to improve the brunch menu.
Always such a great experience! One of my favorite places to eat.
Great food, great drinks, great bar and restaurant! Really appreciate the wonderful staff and delicious food.
We ordered several small plates. Their quality was all good, but the prices are outrageous for the amount of food provided. As such, I wouldn't go back--there are restaurants in Rockville, Bethesda and Potomac with food that is just as good, if not better, for a much better price.
Small plates are small but a couple are good per person. Great ambiance and service
Everything was very nice. The food was sooo good and the waitstaff, including the manager were attentive. The steak was cooked perfectly and tasty. The fish dish was a little on the salty side so make sure to ask for light salt if you order.
We wanted to love Nada but it really wasn’t great, especially for the price. Not sure I would go back.
Enjoyed the food, warmly seasoned and good portion size
Our Wait staff was new on the job and it showed
Somewhat loud but not overwhelming.
First time we’ve been back since the updated menu. Missed seeing some of our favorite tacos and the crack potatoes but everything we tried was amazing.
Such a cool concept, environment and great food!
Food was good but was disappointed to find out that HH was only Mon-Thursday.
The food was delicious and the staff was incredibly pleasant and professional.
Nada was a great venue for our group of 7. The food was excellent, the drinks were really good, and the service was very friendly. It is also a very attractive, comfortable place.
Thank you for helping my friend with celebrating his birthday. I also want to give props to our waitress!!
Solid 3-3.5 star tapas place. Food was good overall. Stay away from the shrimp ceviche…too creamy. Outdoor seat is OK. A bit cramped and Depending on where you sit, you may be eating directly next to a very busy walkway. The restaurant allows dogs for outdoor dining, which can be an interesting experience if you are sitting next to someone with a large the dog or one that is not well behaved. I recommend this place for casual dining, not for a special occasions.
Excellent food and service
Great food and excellent service. Highly recommend it.
Great food and great server!
We were seated earlier than expected. Good was delicious!
We went for a friends birthday. The chef made a custom Vegetarian bowl for me and we love the food and ambience. Great Service. Highly recommend.
Great food and vibe! The menu has changed a little since we were there several months ago but the food and ambiance is still great!
I have been here many times. The margaritas and food were great as usual last night. Service was attentive and accurate. The problem though was music was far too loud. We had to shout to have a conversation. It was so distracting we asked management to turn it down and they did for maybe 5 minutes and then it was back up again. It was loud enough that it made the meal stressful and not as enjoyable as it could have been and I’m less likely to want to return even tho I do like their food and drinks. Please keep the music down so people can enjoy the time and also not to damage people’s hearing!
I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. The aesthetics are gorgeous, the staff from the hostess to the bartender to your server are absolutely amazing. The food was immaculate as well. I honestly have found my new favorite restaurant. Our server Brandon was the best , he made us feel very welcomed. I will be back.
It was an amazing experience. My friend has celiac and the chef came out to speak with her and walk her thru her menu options. He even checked on us during the meal and the food was incredible.
First time here and was not sure what to expect - kind of an Oyamel like place with small plates, but no grasshopper tacos ;-). Plates we tried ranged from good to incredible. More of the latter. The chile relleno was fantastic, as were the fish tacos. The Mexico City ceviche was as good as any I've had in the Americas, but I would rather they were served with tortilla chips than the bland platanos chips. The pork was also really good, when wrapped in the small corn tortillas with the aguacate sauce and pickled onions. The service was excellent also - our server was very attentive and got everything right. The ambience was not so great as we were sitting on the sidewalk (our choice) in direct sun, but the weather was great so overall we had a wonderful time at Nada. We will be back.
Amazing service from the time we walked in the door - love this place!
Met with a couple of coworker-friends for an evening bite. Enjoyed the food, drinks and the super friendly staff. My friend brought along her feisty little pooch who ambitiously interacted with all of the other guests dogs. Good times.
Great food, a bit slow in service, but not invasive. Enjoyed with family ages 4 to 66!
This was supposed to be our anniversary dinner… The waiter was great and friendly, but our order got messed up a couple times. They brought out a second steak after we were mostly done with ours, and missed the jalapeño cornbread which they brought at the end of the meal after almost 2 hours in. After our first drink we also didn’t get any more drinks (or chips) until the end of the night. The flan did not taste good (my wife loves flan) but otherwise the food was amazing, the steak the fish, the cornbread, the salsa (we only tried three) queso and chips all are highly recommended. Overall still a good experience just because we were in a good mood but still…. Cringe worthy at times.
I went for lunch with a colleague. The food was delicious, but pricey. We shared the pork and fish tacos, the jalapeno cornbread, and papas fritas. Every dish was well prepared and finger lickin' good.
They couldn't seat us in a quieter area because they were short staffed. It took a while to clean a table. Service was friendly but slow initially, although it got better. Overall, it was nice to try out this eatery and I would not hesitate recommend Nada N Bethesda to a friend.
Amazing food and service! They brought out churros for my friends birthday!!! Thank you!!!!
The Chef came out to explain several of our choices, which added to the experience. We will be back!
This is a gem in Rockville. The food is always delicious and the service friendly and top notch. Every encounter with someone here ends with a smile.
