NaBrasa Ratings and Reviews
We celebrated a 3 year anniversary and got an unexpected scoop of strawberry ice cream with 2 candles in it at the end! It was such a nice surprise to end an amazing meal! The meat service was great and our server, Sue, was so nice, helpful, attentive and observant. She made our experience enjoyable. Overall, we had a wonderful night here and would highly recommend for special occasions like anniversaries.
Great service. Staff was very attentive and polite. Excellent meats, desserts, and omelettes. We wished there were labels for the desserts because we didn't know what kind of cakes and cupcakes they had. Some of the breakfast foods were cold -- eggs, bacon, potatoes. But overall, a nice place for Sunday brunch with a group.
Typically we love NaBrasa but this time was not that great. Our waiter was very slow at coming back to our table to check on us, I had ordered a pomegranate martini when I was done with it he took my glass but never said would you like another. The meats were good however if we asked for medium we would get more like well done. I asked them to come around frequently with leg of lamb and they only came back once. Another member of our party wanted to try the salmon, he mentioned this however they never came around and our friend gave up on waiting. Not worth the money we spent!
We were celebrating my son's 15th birthday, this is his favorite place. Our experience was great as always, our server, Manny was fantastic and we had a great time. I wish the salad bar can get a little expansion, my other son is a vegetarian and going there as a family with different dietary needs is a bit challenging other than that we love NaBrasa and will be back soon.
I organized a guy's night out at NaBrasa and it didn't disappoint. We were seated quickly and our server explained the way that service was organized.
The gauchos stopped by fairly often with great offerings of meat and we all enjoyed the recommended bourbon. The price is on the high side so its not an every day place but for an occasional splurge, NaBrasa is definitely worth a visit.
My wife and I (in our early 60's) thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience. We drove 52 miles to get there and it was worth it. O'Hana's at WDW is similar but they could learn a lot from NaBrasa's! Fantastic offerings even on the salad bar. Very professional service by servers who are there to please you and not just collect a paycheck. We'd like to bring back family members that also enjoy fine dining and great food. The alligator meat was a definite surprise!
Had reservations for Sunday brunch yesterday, sat at our table for almost 15 minutes waiting for someone to greet us and take our drink order, we eventually got tired of waiting grabbed a random waiter for drinks. I don't think he was actually a waiter because he wasn't dressed as the other waiters were, but he helped us for the rest of our meal. The meat offerings were slow to non-existent. We had to ask for specifics ones several times. There was a large party in another room that seemed to be receiving the most attention.
We use to love going here as a special treat, but it seems to be going down hill. The last few visits have left us feeling ripped off and disappointed in serve and value.
Would have been great if open table had let us know that they closed at 10pm. We had a reservation for 9:30pm. Open table should stop reservations at least 1hr before closing, as a curtesy to the customer and the people working at the restaurant that would like to go home at a decent time. However if I had known that they would stop serving 30min after we had arrived, we could have canceled and went to a place with extended evening hours. It was very disappointing as this was a birthday celebration with relatives from out of town. I will definitely try again during earlier hours though. Hopefully with a much better experience.
The meat was the best part of the dining experience but the salad and sides bar was not great. There were no hot vegetables and the selection was minimal. There was bread but no butter. The most disappointing aspect was the noise level. I think the restaurant is overpriced.
It’s been about two years since we last visited, and we had a great memory here so went out for family dinner when our daughter was back for her winter vacation. Service was good, but the meat quality wasn’t as good as what we remembered and it was too well cooked, even asking for medium rare, the meat was dry. This place may have become too good in our memories, but don’t think we’ll be back again.
I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and we both loved it! This was my first time here..Our server Brendan was so great, he knew everything about the menu and gave great drink recommendations and was also very fun to talk to. He made the experience that much better. All of the servers who walked around with the meats were also very nice and accommodating. We stayed until closing and they were definitely in no rush to push us out, they made sure we were full :)
NaBrasa is not the restaurant it used to be. The quality of the food, the availability/offering of meats, and overall experience has declined. The only thing that hasn't gone down is the price! This used to be my go-to restaurant for special occasions and like the sister restaurant next door (Iron Abbey), the food and service has become so poor I will not be returning.
Service was great from server and the gentlemen who serve the various meats. I appreciated that they asked how you prefer something cooked (medium rare, well, etc.) AND we were often asked if there was a certain meat we were waiting for that we’d like sent over.
Food was not great. I’ve been here before and it’s been better. The salad bar seemed weak, too, with fewer options.
Family get-together celebrating my sister's-in-law 50th birthday
Over all quite good.
Seated promptly after arriving, server was by our table in a reasonably short time although the cart bartender beat him to it by perhaps 2 minutes; no problem :)
We always contended that Fogo de Chao they are not - the salad bar still falls short, however IMHO there was plenty of variety of various salads, cheeses and cold cuts.
The drinks-of choice were Sangrias and Caipirihnas - all well prepared and delicious
I believe our waiter outdid himself (I just wish I would remember his name). He was constantly by our side and all we had to do is ask for a specific type\cut of meat and he would send the gaucho right to the table)
of the choices - the Picanha is still my favorite by far followed by the Top Sirloin Garlic Tips! I also tried Alcatra, FM, Beef Ribs, Chicken wrapped in bacon, Pork Loin with Parmesan, Chicken Legs & Flank Steak - all yummy
I know that some of the ladies in the party opted for Salmon as well and liked it
The reason I am giving the food 3 stars is that neither of lamb dishes was quite to my taste (OK could be personal preference for sure, but obviously I AM the one who is eating :)) and as the place got more busier - the meats were coming out more rarer every time. By the time we left, if you asked for "medium" even with the gaucho slicing the end piece - the blood was squirting!!!! That should not be - like it or not there are folks that will be put out by this very fast (thankfully I am not one of them but I also do not enjoy chewing on a 'raw' meat)
No Reason enough to say I wont return; hopefully next time it will be better
First time at a Brazilian restaurant. They keep the meat coming you must pace yourself and slow down on the buffet. The service was great went early so we beat the rush. But the food was good and the deserts and hand made drinks made me feel special. Our sever was very pleasant. I will be back.
Good Quality Churrascaria, but seasoning watered down for Philadelphian palatte.
All the dishes were well prepared but seasonings just were not there. The food just was not tasty as it might be in an authentic Brasilian restaurant. Maybe for Willow Grove that is a good thing.
Our Christmas dinner was disappointing. While there was a great selection of food to choose from, the salads were largely flavorless and all at room temperature. The meats that we were served were ALL overcooked, not seasoned properly, dry and tough. Service was not good, with us having to repeatedly ask for clean plates, drink refills and then ending with a 15 minute wait to get the check. We have made NaBrasa a family tradition for special occasion meals, but think we'll be looking elsewhere in the future.
