NaBrasa Ratings and Reviews
My husband and I really enjyoed our meal and experience while dining at Nabrasa! Our server Brandon was fabulous! He was very attentive and made sure that we were satisfied. When we arrived he asked us if there was anything particular we wanted to try and made sure to send it right out to us! Wonderful server and a wonderful experience at Nabrasa!
Terrific! This was our first time here (or at any Brazilian steak house) but it won't be our last. Our server Chris was attentive and engaging, but didn't crowd us. The guys serving meat came around often enough, but not too often. There was a large selection of entrees, and you could get them done however you wanted (rare, medium or -- God forbid -- well done). The salad bar was first rate too (I had my first quail eggs -- tasty!). We had a GREAT time. Thanks!
I've been to Nabrasa many times, for sure one of my favorite places to eat, but I was not a fan of our waiter this time (he seemed a bit arrogant).
The chef's know me, know which meats (leg of lamb to be exact) I like and how I like it cooked. They're very friendly, those that know me, and the meats are great most of the time (a couple times the meats weren't as good but overall they're fantastic).
One suggestion I do have is you should open the draft beer selection up to the Nabrasa customers, even if it was only if you ordered pitchers. There's a fairly large selection at Nabrasa but not all beers I like, like what they have at Iron Abby.
We booked dinner after a school event where the end time was hard to gauge. Our reservation was thirty minutes before closing and I was concerned about being late and also being rushed through our meal. It was exactly the opposite. When I called to let them know we might be a few minutes late they were very gracious and told me not to worry. Our waitress was lovely. The food was excellent and there was plenty. No one rushed us even though we were the last diners on a weekday evening. Great experience overall.
The wait staff individual that seated us was charming, knowledgeable, helped create and foster the mood for the fabulous meal that awaited us. Gauchos attentively served wonderful varieties of skewed meats cooked to perfection. In addition, lest we forget, the fabulous pineapple on a skewer that "cleansed the palate" for that next tasty epicurean delight. Salad buffet was very nice...good to see such items as asparagus and hearts of palm included on the table. Smoked salmon, lobster, shrimp and mussels were wonderful to include as part of the total NaBrassa experience! We will definitely be returning.
Food was ok meat was a little too salty. Never had a chance to try the fillet mignon. I believe they sparsely bring this cut out. The potatoes(roasted) at the salad bar were never refilled during my visit. The mashed potatoes were instant. My overall experience was ok but probably won't return.
Have eaten at many Brazilian rodizio restaurants and for me the taste of the food was very plain and not as flavorful as others.
Servers were attentive and friendly
Arrived early for a reservation with the restaurant mostly empty as was asked to wait by the hostess because we were early. After some discussion with the hostess we were promptly seated.
Overall descent experience, but in my opinion the taste could be more flavorful compared to other similar places
$130 for 2 people with one drink each including tip
We loved our expierence however we wish the different meats would make it way around the whole room instead of us having to ask for it. We had a reservation but they didn’t take us right away! We will be back again. We would like to try the brunch as well :-) see you guys real soon!
I've been to Na Brasa a few times and I've generally enjoyed it and feel it's a great place to take guests. I would recommend it for special occasions, business meetings, and quiet environment. The restaurant is spacious and the service is good. The list of whiskies is inspiring! This latest visit was less enjoyable than usual. Rather than start with the negative, I'd like to highlight the positive first: Great ambience, easy parking, and the salad bar did not disappoint. Other Brazilian steakhouses skimp on the salad bar, but Na Brasa does a great spread. Service is typically spot on with good spacing and check ins. Now for the less positive. Specifically: the salmon was well overcooked, dry, and a departure from previous visits. It was memorably dry, even with the sauce. The sirloin cuts were gamey - anything that was medium or medium rare was gristle and could not be cut by the knife at the table. It was a bummer as I had been talking this up to our guests for a few weeks before their arrival and even I couldn't defend it. The table was not asked for requests until the very end. This admittedly sounds petty, but previous visits had our waiter asking up front and early whether we had any requests. As it had been a few months, I assumed that perhaps the practice had changed? When we were obviously done with all courses (no plates, empty glasses, anxious eyes darting around trying to find someone, etc.), our waitress disappeared for a very long time. We sat waiting for the final bill until we flagged down someone else to help us. Overall, I'm hoping this latest visit is a fluke and that future visits will be on par with what I've experienced before, which was great cuts of meat at all levels of doneness, awesome service, and well-timed check-ins.
On Friday, we dined with our friends and had a good time. Diego, once again, was great. My husband and I weren't as impressed with the quality of the food this time as we were the last time. Don't get me wrong, the lobster tail was seasoned very well and we couldn't get enough of the beef ribs. Unfortunately, something we ate didn't sit well with us and we became ill.
Although we paid my husband and I didn't even fully finish our first plate. The sides were basic and unflavored, steaks were over cooked and chicken was DRY!! We've been to places like this before and this was by far the worst. When we asked for our check our waiter said why we only had not even 1 plate... When asking for our check was the first time our waiter had checked on us since giving us water... My husbands beer sat empty for atleast 10 mins. We explained our opinion he told us he was going to tell the manager, so he did then the manager told the meat manager. The meat manager came up to us and said "I heard you don't like the meat?!" (no introduction etc.) We just explained our opinion and how we drove 40 mins to get there and were just disappointed by the food and that was our opinion, we just wanted our check so we can pay and get food elsewhere. The meat manager smirked and walked away. Needless to say we were given our check, paid and we will NEVER be returning.
Always a tasty treat to go to NaBrasa. Lots of delicious things you can choose from at the salad bar- hot veggies, potatoes, rice, salads and fixings galore and the best tuna tartare anywhere!! Meats, chicken, fish all come around to your table often and you can choose what you want & the quantity too. It was lobster fest so lobster tails were given as well. The first batch was a bit over cooked but the second was delicious!! Our server was from Brazil & she was lovely!! The place is pricey so plan on paying a bit for it all.
The only problem we had is we had purchased a $100 gift card for our daughter's birthday back in June and it only rang up as a $50 card. The manager said he would check it later and call us but he never did. We found the purchase on our credit card and will now have to go there to deal with it, unfortunately. The manager assured us he would call- hmmmmmm !! Not good.
We've been to other Brazilian steakhouse so we know the routine. The food was good, but the service was slow to nonexistent at times. We saw only a portion of the meat selection. The same cuts kept coming over and over and other times the gauchos just completely walked passed our table. A couple of times during dinner, there were either one or no gauchos going around the dining room we were in. We're used to the places where you have to flip your card over to No because there were so many gauchos coming at you. That was not a problem here. I can't recommend this place for dinner. Go to Chima in Philly.
Food was good however, a lot of the specialty food like lobster and fillet did not come by that often to our table. I had to ask our waiter two different times to have the lobster tails come to our table. I also had to ask for some side dishes and sauces to complement my steak. When I Used Open table to book my reservations i informed them that it was my sons 18 th Birthday and we wanted to celebrate. We didn't even get dessert to look at. We paid our check and left.
Our service on the night we visited was not good. We were greeted warmly by our waiter. We started off with the salad bar. So far so good. However when we were ready to be served meat we waited a very long time before we saw a server. They had lobster tail which both my husband and myself had 1 piece each. I asked for melted butter but by the time I received it I had already eaten my lobster which had gotten cold. I figured I will get another one when they came around again but they never came back with lobster again. I had a slice of delicious beef ribs. So good I wanted more - never saw beef ribs again. We waited for the filet mignon which came to the table very rare. I requested a piece medium rare and I was told they would come back. Well guess what - I never saw that piece of meat or much of any other kind of meat. Except for the sausage's. Must have saw that guy about 15 times. I didn't see the initial waiter again either. He was now working in a room with a private party. The serve was very lacking and I'm sure they were under staffed for the evening. For the money paid I wish I could say it was the best meal ever but I can't because I've had better. I for one won't be going back anytime soon if ever again.
A real disappointment in comparison to other similar restaurants such as Chima or Fogo de Chao! The buffet was unfortunately uninspiring, with limited choice, and the meats themselves were mostly tasteless, other than the rare sirloin we eventually were able to taste. Most of the meat came well done, or medium done, and it took several tries before we could get a rare filet mignon and sirloin. The lobster tail, a nice touch, was unfortunately dry and tasteless as well. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, but the assistant waiter did not accommodate polite requests for butter (to accompany the bread from the buffet) and additional cheese bread. The caipirinha was delicious however.
